Speaker replacement for Peugeot 206 cc (Front & Rear)

- Here is my guide to replacing the speakers (front and rear) in a Peugeot 206 cc.
Speakers used:
Front 17cm - www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/product...
Rear 10cm - www.pioneer-car.eu/it/en/produ...
These speakers fit perfectly and came with cables that connected straight to the speakers via. spades. PLEASE make sure that you connect +to + and- to - :)

Hi, could you show me a link to how to change the rear speakers to 5.25" (or 13cs) instead of 4" like most are changing them to please? Its just that I've found a really decent pair for cheap whereas, strangely enough, the 4" ones are 3 times the price 😕

Does it matter if you put coax speakers in the fron or do they need to be compo? Would you know by chance?

I've just bought a pair of 6 x 9 speakers but not sure they'll fit in the front will they? By the looks of it there's only really enough room for 6-6.5" ones instead 😕

Dude, this is a brilliant video! In this case the "girlfriend" did it all by herself - thanks to your show-and-tell.
Side note: the man here has two left hands, utterly useless for stuff like this but is still very welcome in bed - despite his shortcomings in regard to handiwork, he has other qualities...

hey man, aweshome video, i was looking to replace the front speakers, it seems like there is room for an tweeter there, are official 2 cables for the tweeter or should i just put all 4 cables on a filter and go from there to main speaker and tweeter?
There is a tweeter across from the wing mirror. You can replace those too but I would keep all 4 wires relayed to the main component speaker in the front doors :)

100% yes in our case. But our speakers had blown so it was a DEFINITE improvement :)

Depends how much bass you want. I´d always recommend Pioneer for an all round good sound. But if you want big bass, I recommend and amp and a sub :)
How do I change the tweeter? Do I have to pay attention to something?

If you want to cut a hole in your door then yes...but I don't recommend it :)

Some people sais that for the rear speakers 13cm works. Is that real ?
Aghyad Al-Sherfawi I'm not sure to be honest. 10cm was the perfect fit so I wouldn't go outside that. If it's a 206 cc. The best thing that I can suggest is to remove the rear panel (easy peasy) and to measure the circumference of the speaker. Good luck :)

I have another question outside this subject: Do you know how can I disable the automatic AC in the car. Every few times I turn on the car. the AC is auto enable.
Aghyad Al-Sherfawi hmmm. No idea I'm afraid my friend. I haven't played with that area :( maybe try resetting the BSI (instructions are on google) or hook it upto a diagnostic computer and get the fault codes if any (most garages will do this for you)
There's a setting for auto ac and then there's a manual setting, you just have to go through the settings on it i recall, a mate did it before i could see what he was doing
Actually it's very simple, just press the auto ac button and it'll change from auto to manual, that's it
Damn, why aren't these speakers just plug 'n play? I mean, got a new Pioneer kit because my 206 speakers are torn to pieces, but even with your vid I find it hard to do the wiring work..
MPC007_EXP it is a pain in the ass buddy :( just cut and strip the wires and find a way to connect each two to on terminal each on the speaker. Good luck
