@@BabantheKiddI would say Yoon Mirae is the Godmother of all female rappers in Korea - and her husband - Tiger JK - is the Godfather (he grew up in Seoul but came to LA as a teen and went to Glendale - after witnessing the LA Riots he wanted to use hip hop to create a dialogue between the Black and Korean communities - and he's a big reason why hip hop and rap became popular in Korea; he also spent time in jail on drug charges in Korea). She grew up in Texas at Ft. Hood (military brat - her dad was a DJ) - Her American name is Natasha Shanta Reid but she goes by Tasha or even T. She, her husband Tiger JK, and another rapper named Bizzy formed a hip-hop rap trio named MFBTY (which stands for My Fans Better Than Yours).
As a mixed race Korean she went through a lot of discrimination by Koreans who didn't want to accept her. Because of her talent she became the most popular female rapper in Korea and even helped the government with the issue of mixed race kids in Korea find acceptance. Mirae is also a top singer and was as big in Korea as Mary J. Blige was in the US.

NEURON blows me away, the whole album did, it's so amazing that hobi made an album which is easy on the ears and yet so freaking good artistically ! check out the other songs, I WONDER, LOCK/UNLOCK, I DON'T KNOW, they are awesome, lock unlock (collab with legendary Nile Rodgers) is WoW & the guitar at the end is a brilliant stroke of genius. Even song which we heard before like OTS (solo version) had added verses that are fantastic, i could listen to the album all day, pls give it a listen, its only 19min but full of genius and great vibes :)

It might reminds you of hope on the strret feat jcole where they harmonized!? Is a whole Episode just about his Dance Crew, and he is introducing us to them, but it's one of the latter released Episodes, it's the Season finally. It's all tied up and connected, just as expected of him Each Song on them Album is representing one Episode and a Dance Style and paint's a cohesive picture, knowing your dance practice reaction's, you're going to adore the Documentary. Neuron has the same people as when Hobi was with them, one of the members is actually a Choreographer at Bighit now, Bangster, they are all older than Hobi he was the Maknae and the youngest member of Neuron. I definitely thought of BTS when I saw the 7 birds, many scenes are making the individual connections to the members. Is the second time a BTS member did a collab with Yoon Mirae (RM was in a song called buckubucku with her) and she is my absolute favorite korean female rapper. Her English name is Natasha but Tasha for short which is why she says "Jhope done gave T the beat drop". I also think when she says "dark winged Baby T" she is referring to the fact that she's half black which is something she has talked about numerous times about being half Black half Korean in a homogenous country.

Hip-hop was very popular in at least the Filipino and Korean-American community in the 90s perhaps, because these new 1st-gen asian-american youths who felt disenfranchised or "othered" by mainstream society found a culture/music that appealed to their situation.

I question this so called "rule" all the time. The algorithm doesn't work like that. We should be watching something else in between to count streams anyway, and the more people reacting to it the more attention the track gets... So idk who came up with this idea, I've been in the fandom since before it and I just went with it at the very beginning but, maybe nowdays it doesn't make much sense anymore, maybe it did with previous YT settings, but I don't think it does anymore... 💜
