Neuron was the dance crew that j-hope began with before BTS. His mini-album is an OST, in a sense, for the Prime Video docuseries that started this week, Hope on the Street

    J. Cole's "Workout" was interpolated from the chorus of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up." I think the melody has been played with a lot in hip hop over the years since then. j-hope grew up on J. Cole and they share a pool of old school influences too. I'm not surprised that j-hope resonates with J. Cole and I'm not surprised you sometimes hear that in the music too. It's a style that suits them well. I think j-hope has this dance/funk influence that takes it a different direction than J. Cole's stuff and I think that's a really cool approach to the old school hip hop sounds. Like Old School hip hop but then here comes a little daft punk or beastie boys or Nile Rodgers. He's really found a sound that works for him.

Cole has no writing credits the sample is right tho, it's J-Hope his 2 features and their in House producer Pdogg. J-Hope is known for his Boom bap Beats and late 80s and early 90s Rap Style, if you go through his Discography you will notice that really fast, because that's Music he used to dance too, as a Street Dancer and Kid. Hope writes and composes his own stuff, he has over 135 Song writing credits, one of the most credited Korean Artist. Neuron was the name of his Street Dancing Crew, the Song, and the Album go in pair with his Amazon Prime Documentary for Street Dance which came out 2 days ago.

    Thats all Jhope!!
And of course Gaeko and Yoon Mirae.
    and Produced by Pdogg.
All four of them have writing credits. But thats it. What you are hearing is just how Jhope is. He is influenced by J Cole, but Hobi has always had a old school hip hop feel to the music he makes.
    Thats just our Hobi 💜💜💜
He is a great writer and composer, so versitle. Its amazing and love it!!!
    P.S.
Even in his song with J.Cole, correct that you as written and Composed by Jhope and Pdogg.
But of course Cole wrote his verse. Jhope talked to use on a live about coming up with the whistle sound in that song, and when he first received J.Coles verse for that song.

It might reminds you of hope on the strret feat jcole where they harmonized!? Is a whole Episode just about his Dance Crew, and he is introducing us to them, but it's one of the latter released Episodes, it's the Season finally. It's all tied up and connected, just as expected of him Each Song on them Album is representing one Episode and a Dance Style and paint's a cohesive picture, knowing your dance practice reaction's, you're going to adore the Documentary. Neuron has the same people as when Hobi was with them, one of the members is actually a Choreographer at Bighit now, Bangster, they are all older than Hobi he was the Maknae and the youngest member of Neuron. I definitely thought of BTS when I saw the 7 birds, many scenes are making the individual connections to the members. Is the second time a BTS member did a collab with Yoon Mirae (RM was in a song called buckubucku with her) and she is my absolute favorite korean female rapper. Her English name is Natasha but Tasha for short which is why she says "Jhope done gave T the beat drop". I also think when she says "dark winged Baby T" she is referring to the fact that she's half black which is something she has talked about numerous times about being half Black half Korean in a homogenous country.💜

J-Hope's docuseries is about his dance history and journey. He travelled to different countries and worked with other dancers in the Global Community of Dance. He's worked with some of them. There are two episodes out now, on AMAZON PRIME VIDEO. Also, his album EP is an OST - Official Sound Track for his docuseries. Music he put together to represent dance. It's just released as of the 29th. This song NEAURON is the title track and is also the name of his dance crew since he was a young boy. I think the boy in this video represents J-Hope. He was 10 when he started dancing,

Thank you for reacting to JHope . He met JCole in person when he headlined at Lollapalooza, hope you can also check it out, it was epic and historical. JHope 's first mixtape was Hope World , well you can guess who inspired that . His first album was Jack in the box, where he did his promotion during Lollapalooza , then this one, his 2nd album Hope on the street , an OST album with docu-series in Prime video. If you follow Hope's discography you will see how versatile he is as an artist.

j-hope if from Gwangju. Also, yoonmirae is a legend in the Korean rap sphere. She's half Korean/Half Black American and a founder of the Korean hiphop scene. She has connections to BTS from way back in the day before they were even famous. Namjoon (RM) collabed with her on bucku bucku.
Anyways, enjoyed the reaction. J-hope really killing it out here with his recent releases. I really think he's found his voice.

I can tell you all have been brainwashed by the others bias. So I see it that j-Cole if true and honestly I have not seen what you one or two say he sounds like this and mind you most of his reactor say OTS is a different sound for j-Cole. What I hear too . He was awesome don’t look at glass half empty ok. But I because of j-hope support Cole and I don’t hear what you hear but maybe like I said others that thought he was the best till he heard the rap line especially j-hope agree. But again I want to make it clear not knocking Cole trying to make my point about your lack of knowledge on rapping. See jhope is educated on old school rap. Maybe others like …something old school and imitate it and now you say it was Cole hahaha but how it works right . But no knowledge still . Ok now for the rapping . This man first of all can sing and rap and has for so long way before bangtan and BTS. Now I know he is very modest the one thing that bugs me about him . Own it jhope. But so much proof . He had options before bangtan and was torn. I told army haters this but you know . Also BTS would just be another KPOP group because yes they rock. But he is a of the choreograph group and he is teacher and coach. In not just hitting the moves but looking in camera and making expressions to sitting up straight in interviews etc etc etc. he is so out going and he is swag so how anyone couldn’t see this is crazy . He crated the good too shoe image and was a great performer . Yes I said performer . He is happy and so out going . He brought it out of all the others. Rm was leader only to speak for them only English speaking g person but j-hope was the glue and they will all admit this and have . Managment said in beginning that look would not get in their way of their rap careers. Now this line up is sick . So no one isn’t complaining about at Least out loud more jhope less colab. But is a strong singer too . He wrote a large number of hits of BTS produced and composed etc. I saw a list. He in JITb sang all the verses too. Has studio in his home. He literally has no ego . Look at OTS . Colab rapped long not the 2 min. Usual . J-hope could out himself upfront in line up but doesn’t . I said years ago he must go solo . Got hell but I know the talent and story and he had too do his thing which is whatever and everything but mainly rap . He wants to share it . None of the others do no one does like him . Visionary . Now he is in the military . He is trainer . He trains me. To fight in wars to defend his country and Allie’s ! WOW he is a Corporal ! Probabaly going to end up a general . Jin is rocking too. And is still rocking it out here . So I hope you watch all his stuff if you watch BTS watch him. He can’t walk an inch with out dancing and swag . Then watch his solo . Listen please . Watch other reactions . He also had the most haters . I could go into that but won’t waste my time . 🤘🏼🇺🇸

Ok first of all I want to make this clear. J-Hope fan of k-Cole but not this this point I don’t care what anyone says . J-hope very modest and respectful but jcole wasn’t around in the 80’s . This is old school hip hop and that is what j-hope is now if j-Cole copies it then the rid what it is . j-hope is so old school and the most authentic rapper alive not even j-Cole or any rapper in America is authentic like him . They can’t even tell you about old school rap like j-hope knowledge is . !!! I can alway tell the un knowledgeable people that listen to rap . Hilarious . Only giving you thumbs up for j-hope but your ignorance has annoyed me .
