  • Tonight we review the finds from my most recent video. In that video, we metal detect a property with a Confederate camp from the American Civil War. You can find a link to the original video where we find these artifacts in a pinned comment under the video.

Very good video! I would like to see a video on how soil levels stay the same over time or how they change. Why are some relics that are newer, deeper in some areas, where older relics are more toward the surface in other places. Like, is the soil and ground level the same on civil war battlefields as it was when the soldiers fought there? That would be cool to know that the topography was the exact same as when the soldiers were there. And why are some civil war sites down so deep? You did a video a long time ago where u were digging up bricks from some camp structure in a field from the civil war but the ground level bricks were down a few feet. How does that happen? Are most of the civil war battle sites underground so that the ground we see today is all built up on top of it somehow? Or are some sites still at the same ground level we see today? How does that happen from one site to another, especially sites in fields with little to no trees? Thanks!
