- In Memory of Joanna Cameron (1951-2021) In 1975, for the second season, SHAZAM got a companion series, THE SECRETS OF ISIS. This video is a recreation of sorts of one such Saturday morning adventure, comprising the SHAZAM episode "Goodbye, Packy" and the ISIS episode "Fool's Dare." Most online episode guides list these two episodes as having different air dates, but since the preview of "Fool's Dare" appears at the end of the Blu-Ray version of "Goodbye, Packy," I have put them together for this compilation. Enjoy!
RIP Joanna Cameron
She was such beautiful Lady, RIP, Ms Cameron. Rest in Jesus Christ arms . 🙏
Shazam and Isis was two great Saturday morning shows ,it was a amazing time experience for us 70's youngsters.
Was born in the 60's
Loved these shows when I was a kid. Thanks for the upload. RIP Joanna Cameron. You will always be my champion.
It was sad to find that out. She passed away a couple of days after my mom passed.
Shows 📺 we're my childhood back in 70 .so many great shows
My brother and I would always brother run downstairs every Saturday morning to watch our Saturday morning cartoons all the way up to the Shazam Isis Hour. Then our parents got the TV afterwards. shows like this were my childhood back in the 70s; they were the best.
@@kathrynjordan8782 Thank God we were born in a great era I miss my childhood.im 56 .Time flys by 😁
@@Manuel-zo3wg I know what you mean. I am 57 and I am so glad that I found these on DVD so I can relive my childhood. I remember running down the stairs on Saturday mornings to watch Shazam-Isis. They just don't make these kinds of shows anymore.
IM GOING CRAZY SHAZAM and ISIS YESSSSSSSSSSS GAWD
hahaha, I remember these on Sat Mornings as a kid. There were 2 actors that played Captain Marvel as well. I just read Joanna Cameron passed away in 2021 due to complications from a stroke. She was only 73 years old. RIP
A word that transforms him into a middle aged man in tights running in a field!!
thanks for bringing back this hazy memory 🙃🙃i haven't seen some of this footage in about 50 years.... man what a trip !!
I was just 4 years old when this show came out . Awesome 😎
God how I loved Saturday mornings in the 70s.
Joanna Cameron was the love of my life when I was 10 in '75.... (lol) - RIP dear lady.
Joanna Cameron as Isis was my favorite character aired during the Saturday morning cartoons period.
Great memories, thwnks for posting.
Billy yells "Shazam" and puts on 40 pounds and ages 30 years.
And quite a hanging belly, Jackson Bostwick was a much better fit Captain Marvel.
Yeah they could've found a better replacement for 'Bostwick' instead of 'Davey' .
Isn't my imagination or does Captain Marvel's cape look like a 70's shower curtain?
:-D That flat board certainly didn't give him a washboard
I love how it describes these massively mythological beings and they're just walking in Los Angeles lol
Well, Billy Batson is an orphan who grew up dirt poor, and Andrea Thomas was an archaeology professor from a relatively minor college. It makes for an interesting situation to have Billy transformed into an adult version of himself with the Wisdom of Solomon and the Courage of Achilles affecting how he sees and reacts to things, and for Andrea to have the knowledge and power of Isis flowing through her, altering her own perceptions.
If you were just your regular self, but suddenly had aspects of ancient, powerful beings flowing through you, how would you react? Would you still be you, or would it be easy to be swept away by those large and powerful personalities? They didn't touch on it much in shows aimed at kids, but it's got interesting potential for storytelling when the mythical and mundane get melded together like that.
Appreciate the upload. Quality is excellent. Is this from dvd or blu ray? Just found out Joanna Cameron aka Isis just passed a few weeks ago. R.I.P Joanna Cameron
The wraparound material, Shazam opening/close and moral come from an HD webrip. The Isis opening/close/moral come from DVD. The Isis moral segment was on the DVD as a special feature, but only survives in lesser-quality. Those segments were not included in the syndicated versions, and the masters of the full network versions of Isis have long since been lost. Glad you enjoyed it!
What memories
Les Tremaygne, 1913-2003. RIP 😊.
Can you imagine the moral message Isis would give to today's youth~ " Remember kids, It's always a bad thing to use your stupid phone to access the dark web and try and smuggle drugs and weapons out of the country " LOL Actaully not funny, look how far we've gone in the wrong direction. SOOOOO thankful i grew up in the 70s
My cousin Ingrid would watch Isis.
As soon as it was over her brother Chris and I would kick her out of the room and watch "Shazam".
Happy campers
September 1975-Sept 1981
I smell something chemical coming from that RV. Say my name - Shazam!
It would of been great if ICIS &. Wonder Woman would work together.
Cool to the max everyone
Fun TV shows 😊
Can you do the same fthing or season 1 to The Funtastic World Of Hanna-Barbera?!
Sorry, I don't have access to any material from The Funtastic World programming block.
Back when people had common sense 😂😢. I was 6y.o. when isis came out..
Zephyr winds which blow on high wish me now so I can fly
It's "lift me now" but you got the rest right.
Joanna Cameron was born in 1948, not 1951
Since when does 'ISIS' start to use a net to capture bad guys 😁
I have the Shazam episodes on 📀
Came here to share this with someone after watching the AWFUL finale of Moon Knight :)
If Isis and Shazam fought who would win 🙅
😎
If you have access to the USA version of Tubi. Shazam is on there for free with one of the Isis crossover episodes
As low budget as ISIS is, I am guessing it also doubled as a 70s porn production??? LOL
RIP Joanna Cameron
