STOP!!! Don't Send Your Jamaican Passport to Relatives in Jamaica

There are many of us living here in the United States and other countries outside of Jamaica who are not quite sure how to renew or replace their Jamaican passport. There are 2 consulates on one embassy in the United States to assist you there are also persons like myself who can help you navigate this confusing situation of what documents the send where to send it to how much to send how to complete the application form and all the other requirements. If you annoy anyone who's ever had a Jamaican passport done they will tell you how extremely tedious the process is. I worked for 10 years of the Jamaican conservation New York so I know the INS and out of the password application process. I am confused because I submitted my application online and got an error message because of the image submitted. Was told that I would have to send the passport directly to jamaica and not the consulate when I contacted PICA.

Good day ma'am I lost my passport some time last year but I went to the consulate in Miami in July and I haven't yet received my passport do you know how long does it take to get back a last passport
