@@Gary_The_Metro Nope. It is called IMMERSION. Collecting them will be part of jobs, which mostly AI will do.
Honestly, if they made the first level of maintanance basically clearing the trashcans on stations or picking up litter, then went to SCV towing ships players left around. It may become my preffered gameplay loop.

It's called garbage collection duh...
I can't help but think of a way this is actually useful, and would make a decent game loop, in the current environment.
Put a 2 SCU crate on it. Once its full, we can haul the rubbish to a waste disposal, and make meta creds, for doing the cleanup we need around the hotspots.
Recycling game play. Almost all the consumable left overs are either bottles and cans. Do Empty med pens exist?

and ironicly immune to damage as it cleans up the junk only way to get at pilot is to yank him out GTA style. but cant damage players or other vehichals eather xD
As a Legatus Naviium pledge member here... i NEED this. I'm constantly cleaning up tossed cans, bottles, and medical gowns as I make my way to a spaceport. I can see this as a $15 or $25 PU pledge package or starter package to get players fully immersed in taking care of the 'Verse. Great day in the morning do I see some value in this. I know this is an April Fool's joke but... One man's junk is another man's treasure. And with persistence being a thing... Space janitor players could be a thing. After all in Space Quest you start out as a broom pushing janitor. Heck, even piloting a garbage scow.
I do miss playing Wing Commander and Wing Commander II on my old 386... Privateer was also loads of STONKING GREAT loads of ABSOLUTE BRILLIANT FUN!

This show how far they are in developpement, making this kind of cinematic using probably existing asset is surely very fast and easy, still looking like a real commercial... well done !

LOL, I WAS RIGHT. HAHAHAHA. I rotated the image when I got the email because it looked more correct to me, and because of the quote I thought raptor, which made me think of the MISC raptor, which was mentioned a while back. So, the MISC raptor ground vehicle was my thought process. I was right, just not for what I was expecting. XD
Went to the pledge store as soon as i saw the thumbnail to get a sweet new misc ship. You got me. I kinda still want a RAPTOR though
