Hi Julia! They are pricey for sure. So its best to save your money for something you really like. I have the same feeling about Tom Ford palettes. I just tried my first palette for the first time.
The quality of this palette is much better than her older formula and if this is also a color story you like I don't think you are going to be disappointed. I still love this palette! I cannot wait for it to come out for everyone.

Owh im so sharing your excitement. I love CT quads and this one is no different. The prime shade really has my attention and the Super pop is such a sophisticated shimmer. Way more understated than expected. I think she will launch this quad with the pillow talk highlighter I keep seeing on chicprofile. They have the same cardboard box

I feel you about the Fire Rose...I bought the full face instead....and it was a HUGE dud....nothing showed up on my skin. I returned it, and when I went to buy the Fire Rose, it was sold out. I hope I do not make the same mistake on this one. I also regret Pillow talk, as that one did not do a thing either....This looks stunning on you.
Omg when I did this video I was even wondering I had just had fire rose anxiety and therefore I was like. RUN . GET IT NOW! DO NOT MISS OUT! Baha When editing the video I made sure I didn't come across as intense as I was that day.
This palette will show up on you. Even I as Light as I am right now have to build up original Pillow talk. If you like this color story I don't think you will be disappointed in the application the formula. I love the prime shade a crazy amount. I hope you enjoy this palette as much as I do!

No, these palettes are not similar. I'm assuming you are mainly talking about the matte formula but I will give a little rundown of the entire palette for both brands.
CT Pillow talk dreams is a Rose toned palette leaning Neutral imo. 2 shimmers that are impressive high pigment shimmers and just go on forever. The prime shimmer is more of a metallic and the pop shade has glitter Particles. Both are great in opacity. Stay on the lids for the entire day. Easy to work with.
The mattes are very pigmented. It's a powder that is so finely milled that it is smooth to the touch and almost feel like Butter. It's not a cream but just so soft. Great blend and lasts all day even without an eye primer. The colors work great together. There isnt an inner corner highlight shade for me. The prime shade is too Dark.
Overall, this formulation is a knock-out. Much better than her older formula. Better than Pillow talk original formula. I love both palettes but this is clearly superior in formula.
TF Smokey Quartz is an all matte neutral palette. It's sort of a hybrid cream formulation. Eventhough it's clearly a powder, the powder feels cold to the touch due to that cream hybrid formulation. Like, they feel wet. Swirl it around you feel the rough powder particles and it feels like Velvet. In the sun the mattes have a sheen. CT doenst have this. They are matte but not a flat matte. Haha I hope im articulating this right. 😆 The pigment is amazing! Blendable and easy to work with. This palette is something I reach for more than I care to admit ( coz the price.... not ok). Without an eye primer this formula has about a 4 hr wear time on me. I have not worn this in the summer. The lightest shade barely shows on my skin color. So its mainly for fading out the pigment of the other colors.
Usually, I have an all matte palette and I use it together with my single shadows or for a dedicated 50s look. Or if I wanna be Adele for a day hahaha.
My point is I rarely find an all matte palette I want to go back to just for fun. I didn't like tiger eye. I liked this quad a lot on its own. More than the Super Nudes from CT.
In terms of Pillow talk dreams vs Smokey Quartz matte formula. Pillow Talk wins due to it's staying power.

@@Chio_Ri I think PT original is a great palette. It looks soft and everyday but in terms of formulation I feel its dated. Its worth the money if there is a sale. CT sometimes has 30% off if you buy multiple palettes. That's how I originally got mine. Or just 25% off sale. If the itch to buy remains ofc. If its gone you save that money for maybe the royal launch.
Omw a dupes video. Never thought about doing it coz I feel my collection doenst compare to most on CZcams. It's still more makeup than anyone should have. In juli I celebrate 1 year on CZcams. I was thinking about doing a collection video. Maybe thats a good time to explore the dupes in my collection. I'm waiting a year just to see what 1 year of CZcams has done to my collection and if any new holy grails have peaked through. Maybe before the one year anniversary I wanted to do a CT palette collection video. I currently own 11🤑 no big palette just the quads and 6 pans. That's my comfort zone. CT is notorious for duping herself.

Hiii you are the third person to mention this. I bought the darling palette on the Cult Beauty sale and it is on its way to me for comparison. Unfortunately it won't arrive in time for my complete pillow talk collection review. I'll swatch the darling palette next to this one when it arrives! I did some comparison swatches in a post. You can check my community tab or instagram. I compared it to some other palettes in my collection.
I find the darling palette very peach looking and this pulls more pink ti mauve in my opinion but since a few off you see the comparison I figure i must have the darling for future references. CT has a prime spot of my channel.

I compared this palette to my mauve toned palettes and none are dupes. It's more so people can get a feel on the colors and compare it to things they have in their collection. Thank you for your input though. This way people can read your comment for more information.

Owh right! My star aura is also being used and abused haha. But I love the soft pink Pillow talk shades of original Pillow talk. Yesterday I wore exagger eyes and I forgot I liked that one as well!
This palette leans pink mauve and rose tones with a rich chocolate mauve. Very on trend haha. Darling palette more of a terracotta to almost peach tones and brown tones. Bright shades except the deep brown but I feel also great eye look.
I'm also waiting for this palette to come out! It's stunning. I dont know why it is not available anywhere else.

Thanks so much for this video. I broke down and bought the original Pillow Talk since I thought I had to as a Charlotte Tilbury enthusiast. But what color is Pillow Talk Dreams? I can’t tell if it is purply, bronzey or what. I have to really work to get the original to show up (tan girl here).so excited for something deeper. Is it a close cousin to any of her existing quads?
Hi! Yes original Pillow talk is definitely Light and not the most Tanned Skin friendly.
You are correct by seeing a bit of a purple hue. If I were to describe it its probably mostly a combination of mauve and rose tones. I will do my best to describe them:
Prime shade : metallic rose color. Light pink to pink reflect. No dupes in my collection as far as I know.
Enhance a pale mauve with brown notes. The smoke shade in exagger eyes palettes is the same level of depth but exagger eyes is way more Neutral.
Smoke shade in Pillow talk dreams is a milk chocolate brown with rich mauve undertones. It leaps warmer on me. ( compares to the queen of glow palette smoke shade. Queen of glow is more true brown and less vibrant.
Compared to Super nudes brown shade. Super nudes is way more Neutral.
Super pop shade is sophisticated rose shimmer with silver glitter particles.
I have 10 CT palettes and non are exact dupes. If I had to compare it to my collection its sister palettes would be:
Natasha denona mini Biba (similar mattes)
PML Venus in fleurs Voyeuristic Vixen quad.
CT walk of no shame Pulls more red on me. So a distant maroon cousin of this palette.
I would consider this a Pillow talk intense palette.

I personally would describe the palette as mauvy pink tones. The CZcams shorts I did you can see original Pillow Talk next to Pillow talk dreams in natural daylight. I think thats a great reference as to how the colors pull if you have Pillow talk original.

Hi! Did you see! The palette is available on the CT website. You can check the colors on the website as well. I find the colors on the website very true to the real thing. At least on the model. This is sadly not always the case with CT palettes on the website.
