Palette declutter is my favorite type of declutter. I remember loving the michele wang declutters and fawning over alllll the makeup. Its also the most sentimental category for me to declutter 🙈😭 good luck on your own declutter journey. I hope the videos can inspire. We can do it together. Also, i truly feel so much better about my collection. Like a weight has been lifted. I know exactly what i own and where to find it. This suits me much better!

Yasss all liners, lips stuff and single eyeshadows, are my final categories. I find some of these the hardest to declutter in terms of... you cant gift many of them. You have to just ...throw them out. But i am hopeful! I cant to declutter this section and start over again with a smaller collection❤️❤️❤️❤️

Both panning my Chanel and my VBB bronzers was hard work bahahah. It took forever! I wore my Chanel bronzer a lot this week, and i still love it. It's so good! Dont worry... memories keep me from decluttering makeup as well. Some makeup needs to severely expire for me to say... ok... its time. What helps me is my channel. I will always be able to bring back the memories because i have video footage of the makeup and often the story that's attached to it. I have less drive to keep makeup out of sentimentality. Without my channel, i would hold on for dear life (especially eyeshadow palettes)

How did you do! I actually am really happy I did! I finally am excited to try new makeup again AND i am picking up the pieces i own again. So its been really good for me. I am less overwhelmed by my own collection. Decluttering is hard for me though. Clearly! Haha but i need to keep only the pieces i truly love.

Het was moeilijk! Maar uiteindelijk heel ver gekomen en ik voel mij 10 kilo lichter ahaha. Ik ben weer geinspireerd om nieuwe makeup te kopen maar ook om mijn huidige makeup te gebruiken. Ik ben weer voor het eerst in een lange tijd aan het spelen met oogschaduw. Dus een declutter heeft mij erg goed gedaan. Success alvast als je gaat beginnen!

I feel good about my collection right now. I finally use my collection again and dont feel overwhelmed! I also excited to buy new makeup again as well!

Some I sell if I think it’s barely used and still ok. Some I gift and I do throw away things I am just not…. Daring to gift or wear

2 years sounds brutal! My divorce was finalized in January and our financials were divided last month. So whats done is done! Other than our son we share nothing anymore. But the emotional damage i took still hits me hard. I overeat every day

So far i think its a phenomenal little concealer duo. Looks very nice under my eyes and around my face. Im not mad! Im having a great concealer year!

I do the same with makeup! If i think it's still good... and i am not sharing my makeup. Then it's still good, haha. Maybe only with my mascaras, i am a little more cautious. But some subscribers are very strict on shelf life, so it does need to be mentioned in a review. My thoughts are always.. In this economy, with luxury pricing... people need to make smart decisions, and a review needs to aid in that decision. I do hope my reviews help people in that sense. Spend money wisely. Thank god for erborian minis, btw!

Yeh! So I forgot to mention…. But metropolis also in the end does not taste the same! The brand reached out to me and they’re giving me a refund for sweet fig! They have an amazing customer service team so I would suggest reaching out!

@@sonia.butler i contacted the CS , they told me that in meet cute,there is probably more oils and stuff and that is why it tastes like that. Hope that is indeed the reason but i think I won't be buying lighter shades

I Hated, capital H the lip oil from rouje. Literally sucked my lips dry. So sad. But the face palette and the bronzer i thought were very well done. Rouje is one of those brands that i keep an eye on but definitely hits and misses. Their lip stylos are also so fun!

Mine taste terrible... at least ny sweet fig is the one most concerning. I am wondering if i need to ask for a replacement coz not everyone has this experience

If I was you I would ask for a replacement I purchased a couple of the Lisa Eldridge lip balms in the lighter shades no issues her customer service is amazing

My sweet fig tastes awful! Like…. It’s not right. Maybe it’s a problem of only this batch!? Like it’s weird! I hate it. It gets all up in my mouth and blegh. There is no ignoring it. 😭

@@sonia.butler Oooh. Yikes!! Mine is DEFINITELY not like that at all. I’d contact them and get them to send another. I’d say mine was unscented or had just a teeny tiny bit of vanilla if I had to say there was any scent at all. I taste absolutely nothing at all. Not even a little bit.

My Epanqui smells bad and I got a headache and nausea. It’s synthetic vanilla aroma. I got a kind response from the team and they refunded with no problem.

Agree on every single point. These quads were golden and still are sooo underrated. The Exagger eyes palette was always one of my favorites and my mother ended up inheriting this palette hahaha she loves it! I recently decluttered my palettes and it was time to declutter some CT palettes as well. But I kept my favorite ones❤️ I miss the magic of old CT.

Ik vind oogschaduw declutters het moeilijkst! Ik ben namelijk niet erg sentimenteel behalve dan met palettetjes😭 maar de video is een tijd geleden gefilmd en ik mis inderdaad helemaal geen enkele palette. En andere mensen zijn super blij met een goedkope palette. Mijn moeder heeft uit wat uitgekozen. Ik denk dat ik ooit al mijn charlotte tilbury ga weg doen en dat is een raar idee. Maar al mijn PML, ND zijn ook al weg. Past gewoon niet bij mij nu. Ik heb al een declutter gefilmed van mijn base makeup. Heel benieuwd wat jullier ervan vinden. He echt veel weggedaan. Ook makeup die ik mooi vind maar gewoon niet gebruik ❤️ hopelijk inspireerd het mensen. Leuk dat we een beetje dezelfde journey hebben

I felt an immense pressure to perform and to make content but i needed to just survive. Its going to take me such a long time to be back to where and who i was. I was thinking the same! Its not part of my collection anymore but it is part of my home. I have an idea in my head for it. I also have the chantecaille pearl collection i havent decluttered but its not part of my collection purely for this reason. Frame it and make it part of my journey❤️

I hate feeling bad about my collection. My family doenst really wear makeup but some colleagues and friends do! I do sell some palettes that are almost unused. Usually for a third of the price i bought it or less. I use the money to reinvest in my channel and collection. As long as everyone is happy! Anyway, maybe something you could do as well. Oh! And some people they hide their palettes and slowly pick them up again after some time. It gives that NEW palette feeling. Also a good way to use palettes

It is! But giving palettes a new home instead of them collecting dust I find a better option. Also changing purchasing habits have helped a lot!

They're close.in comparison. Both creams, both medium coverage, both hybrid foundation/concealer. I love the westman atelier stick.its a great formula. I would consider it more creamy than FH. I have an oily t zone and oily eyelids so i do powder. I get minimal creasing. FH has a great self setting feature for those with oilyness around the eyes. I still put powder on and i never crease. Also, the shine baum has been created to also mix into the concealer portion to cater to dryer skintypes and create a different finish. Big CON is price for how little product you get. Whereas WA stick is actually very good in comparison coz its also a foundation size. Both are good for travel and have luxury packaging. Both are mature skin friendly. Nothing wrong with either product ❤️

Eyeshadow palettes hold the most sentiment to me! Its hard! But its also the makeup item that i dont really use anymore. So i wanna just break away a little. I am hoping to film some good decluttering today! Wish me luck!

Kris! I hope you are doing wonderful. Health wise as well. I am so thankful for your concern and I really am thinking i need a reset. Getting rid of my color is probably a phase. One that my divorce has really jumpstarted. I like minimal makeup or no makeup. My daily life is very much skincare based with a lip oil and some mascara. Maybe a tiny bit of concealer and powder. Some days i do more but its been very minimal. I like leaning into my preferences. I also get stressed when i see unused makeup. I feel bad! So its actually better for my mental health to declutter. Coz the makeup i own is often the makeup i actually wear. Some years a large collection suits me. But now... my brain is wanting a smaller one. Luckily, i have this channel and review makeup still. So i can always buy the newer launches for review and new colorful palettes will enter my collection once more. But i honestly think a deep declutter is good for me. I declutter great things that just dont suit my current preferences. I make others happy by gifting them. Its a win win. I dont like gifting makeup i hated btw. I feel like thats a burden. Anyway, i want you to know that i am healing. I am ok. This is part of my process and i think its good to see it through ❤️

One day! I hope to have a good subscriber family to just continue to nerd out with and do YT with. i am so happy already with my channel. My channel has exceeded my expectations. My subscribers currently have only given me joy . Its been much more than what i expected. I expected a lot of trolls and hate comments. But i barely receive any. So i am grateful and fuzzy feeling. I love the growth and i am soooo happy to have you visit my channel and subscribe truly!

I remember when Morgan Turners channel was under 4000 and knew she would do great and she exceeded my expectations. As long as you have the willpower and you love what you do it will happen. I wanted to be a CZcamsr but something happened and I lost half of my teeth leaving only a few at the front I’m gutted as I have wanted to do it since I was 40 so 8 1/2 yrs ago ! I wish there was something I could do to get my smile back but for now watching good content ! Anti-aging/ luxury makeup/ anti ageing tools are what I love binge watching ❤️xx

Ahhh i just didnt want to do that. Its not me. I have so much stuff that reminds me of my son. Holding on onto makeup ... its just not me. At best i have this video. This declutter that will immortalize my little ND palette with the nail marks. I think its enough. Im not nostalgic with makeup normally. But i have a harder time with eyeshadow palettes

@@sonia.butler I didn’t either at first. I always used a shader. When I gave it a last try with a fluffy blender and used it in the style it worked much better. I have 3 shades I can use instead of declutter now.

Eyeshadow palettes are hard for me to get rid off. But right now its just collecting dust. Maybe a few palettes get some use! I felt empowered. Like i could start over! I wanna get rid of more now. The lisa eldridge ones keep me creative. And i love neutral palettes. I still have 28 palettes! Which is insane. You wanna hear something even more insane? I keep all my boxes! I have a drawer full of boxes🙈🙈🙈🙈 i dont know whats wrong with me.

@luvlost03 i review makeup so others can make informed buying decisions. Keeping my makeup from a brand for swatch comparisons is a great way to inform buyers by using visual comparisons! I am glad she uses my channel for VBB reviews!
