Wow crazy the camera really picks up the differences In The base - and you explain the differences so well! Like you can see why the dupe doesn't quite look as great but can't figure out why - but you explained it so well! I really loved this video!

No, I can't either. I've learned , the hard way, use drugstore. Nobody knows what is on our face but our purses know when we can't buy anything else because we bkew our money on 1 or 2 things

I recently tried one of the Huda lip contour lipliners and it reminds me so much of the Nyx line loud liners. They’re both so long lasting!! I’d love to see what you think😌
Also I’ve heard some people talk about the Moira set and correct loose powders and they look a lot like the Givenchy Prism Libre powders. Love to know if they’re dupes ❤️

@@DaceyCash The Huda liners are really nice! Super creamy and long lasting! They have a sharpener at the other end but you can still twist them up too. I have shades pinky brown, muted pink and rusty pink❤️

Going along with what you said about that Maybelline foundation, I’ve bought their Instant Age Rewind Concealer in the similar packaging twice now and will never understand the hype around it 😅😅 Given that hype, it’s probably just me, but I find it way too thick, crease-y, and difficult to blend, so hearing you critique the similar foundation was oddly validating ! 😭💖
i haven't tried that concealer in so many years! but funny enough it used to be my favorite like 5 years ago lol 😝
How is handle all concealers, I always dab a little at a time. From what I see many people are putting to much on. We have to also consider the different consistency especially of each product. I have Charolette flawless filter , I use to like it , as my skin changes it doesn't look as smooth as many others in the same category

The high end side definitely looks better blended and smooth. But I think the revolution products played a big part in that.

I liked the Bad gal lash side more because it gave you more all around drama without working so hard. I’m not crazy about Maybelline’s flexy wands. That was the Sky high? How about Maybelline Lash Stiletto?(waterproof) compared to Bad gal? I would be curious on the comparison of those two. Thanks for sharing.😊

I think the Wet n Wild Photofocus dewy formula is more like Armani than that L'Oreal is. I must be the only person on the planet that doesn't like L'Oreal serum foundation. It gave me wrinkles in places I didn't even know I had PLACES! 😂Like it emphasized every flaw on my entire face. No ma'am!
The Revolution wand that is supposed to be a dupe for the Charlotte contour one is actually the stade Deep caramel, not just caramel ! Works amazingly for me, give it a go in the right shade ❤

Thank you for recommending Loreal lipstick in shade 173. The shades in that range are so beautiful I chose several. I think the darkest shade dupes the Clinique dark honey. I also like the way you apply eyeshadow. I quit watching beauty videos because I got so sick of hearing "I'm starting with this transition shade.". And you're honest.

What shade of the CT Contour Wand do you have, is it the medium dark shade? It blends in so well on you! I have the Makeup by Mario Skin Enhancer in Medium Dark and love it but may try the CT one too!

You had the light reflecting the side of your face with the Flawless Filter, I think that’s why it looked much “glowier.” I have both products and they look identical to me, but maybe that’s just on my skin.
I never really found the Maybelline one to look the same - and I really don't like the undertone of it the more I use it. I think the ELF liquid halo is a much better dupe!

I’d love to see a sleek bun hair tutorial! I have SUCH a hard time getting it flat and perfect unless I use a ton of gel and product! Even when I do that, sometimes I just can’t get it right and I can never do my sideburns. That area is just awkward for me. 😭 Especially on days where I don’t want to dump a ton of product on my hair just yet, I’m hoping maybe you have some tips and tricks to get the look without having to use a ton of product!
I’m also not sure why every time I use a hair tie, my bun just looks super awkward? I can never get that right either. 😭 Share your secrets, please! We have similar hair types + textures due to both being hapa and I initially followed you all those years ago because of your hair tutorials!

it's basically impossible for me to achieve this sleek of an updo without using a decent amount of product. I don't think theres really a way to get my hair to lay down this tight without it! i'm sorry!!

The good ol' L'Oreal Lumi foundation has been known as a dupe for Luminous Silk for years
I've loved the Lumi foundation but it never really seemed like a dupe to me. Do you like it better than the Armani foundation?
I bought that Maybelinne 4-1 face stuff, whatever it is 😆 and I absolutely hate hate the way it looks on my face. It emphasizes every single pore and defect on my face 🤢. I actually have the Loreal 173 lipstick! I didn’t know it was a dupe till now, but I love it! I absolutely hate that Revolution pink blush/highlighter 😂 it frickn sets so fast you absolutely cannot use the sponge applicator it comes with. The only way I can use that product is blending on my hand and using a damp sponge. I’m getting that Loreal eyeshadow quad! I love love those colors! And I’m going to get that Revolution concealer/bronzer in the darker shade….as long as it doesn’t set as fast as the freaking blush lol! I didn’t look like it did in your video. I usually use Elf baked highlighters, and I love them! There are only two shades, I use the champagne colored one. I can’t believe nobody on CZcams ever mentions them. It looks so good and smooth on my skin.
I agree 100%. I think I 'liked' the Maybelline 4-in-1 at first because it seemed to be nice and everyone LOVES it but then i realized the undertones are so not flattering on my skin and it's got kind of chunky glitter in it. Doesn't look nice underneath my makeup either!!
If you haven't tried the Revolution highlight in the other shades, like the champagne and bronze it works so nice as a highlight! The pink I just truly have no use for because the formula is too wonky to work with and I don't have the patience for it on my cheeks. Lol.
The Revolution concealer has a really nice formula but just be weary of the undertone if you do pick it up, I think I prefer a little bit more of a neutral undertone and the one I have looked pretty warm which sort of annoyed me. I saw another person on Tiktok dupe the CT wand with the Revlon skin awaken concealer, so that might be more worth giving a go!
Thank you for the suggestion of the ELF baked highlighters, I used to use those soooo many years ago. Like probably 6 years ago at this point. I'll have to revisit those and pick one up!

The only dupe I’ve seen is the elf Halo glow filter. But they really need to upgrade the shade range. 5 shades is unacceptable. The lightest shade is way to orange/yellow for most people so I haven’t bothered yet

@@DaceyCash I tried out the Armani Luminous Silk years ago and it burned my skin. I tried it several times and it just does not work with my skin.
As for the L’Oréal Fresh Wear, yes, I have tried it. It’s a great foundation. I don’t wear much foundation anymore.. More tinted sunscreens, tinted serums, BB creams, or a concealer on my face to spot conceal..
I decluttered it a while ago..

Revlon matte 003 is a dupe for pillow talk. Looks the same.
I think it's the makeup revolution eye bright in deep caramel that's supposed to be a dupe for the Charlotte. Which it's not, but it does make a nice contour. Lol I got it after i saw nikki la rose and susan yara both say it blends better than the Charlotte... and you use less product.
I still the the Neutrogena concealer is more like the nars in my opinion

@@DaceyCash I understand. Shade matching can be hard online. I've gotten lucky most times. They use to be at Ulta but they pulled their products and are just online. I have to rely on the models online which can be tricky. I also watch CZcams videos with people similar in shade to me.
The Charlotte Tillbury side is noticeably smoother but both sides are gorgeous!

The halo glow is the CT dupe, the 4 in 1 is trash, it literally does nothing. I love the halo glow, bought it in 2 shades and only spent $28 total!

The Loreal concealer is NOT a dupe to the Nars, definitely a different formula and finish.Loreal has a more radiant finish like the Dior concealer, but Dior has more coverage.

The ELF Halo Glow Liquid Fikter is the only Charlotte dupe worthy of the name.
Did you put the foundation on top of the CT that was not a dupe for the Maybelline? Couldn’t that skew the foundation side. Also, did you try the ELF product for the CT. It’s highly praised as a dupe. I will shut up now, lol.

The loreal lipstick has such a terrible floral scent. Im usually not bothered by fragrance, but this one made my lips tingle and gave me an asthma attack. Such a shame cause the colours are beautiful

I dont know why you bothered doing this video , you are absolutely negative with any drugstore product , if they will put the same makeup in high end brands packaging , you would love them . In the screen I cant appreciate any difference. I watched another youtuber comparing the Revolution blusher against the CT and looked a lot better the Revolution one ( btw looks like you've chosen for the drugstore makeup the side of your face with more texture, like little spots, anything shiny is going to make them look worse and more visible ) And just to finish, CT isn't hers anymore , she sold it two years and a half ago for billions of dollars to a Spanish Company called Puig. . Loreal is the owner of lots of high end brands like Armani, so I dont think their foundations are going to be very different . You are more an snob than a picky one in makeup. And believe me , from here I couldnt see which one is more expensive .
