Merit is having a black Friday / Cyber Monday sale this year so I wanted to get this little guide up for you to reference because I've been such a huge fan of this brand!

dacey! this is so gorgeous. i bought the signature lipstick in baby a few months back bc i had basically run out of/gotten rid of all my makeup after covid, everything was expired or just wasn’t my vibe anymore.
i’ve really shifted to a more minimal, effortless look. I stumbled on merit and ohmygod I wear that lipstick everyday. I want to get more shades and also the bronzer and highlighter! I don’t know if the foundation would work on my oilier skin type but it’s STUNNING on you

The foundation stick is so good. I never use any other foundation since using them and I was a heavy foundation girl. Never met a foundation that looks sooooo natural.
I love the aesthetic and idea of this brand. The stick is a little dry and I think it applies so beautifully over top of a good sunscreen like Altruist or using the highlight as a primer as you did here. Westman Atelier stick is a little more creamy but also seems to do better with using their highlight as a kind of primer underneath. I really like stick products for portability and ease of use! What I did recently discover though is the Salt New York sheer balm skin Tints. They are definitely more than a tint at least for me! But I can apply these and have really nice medium coverage with such a beautiful skin finish that using the highlighter underneath these sticks I mentioned, would give! But all on its own. This particular product is not a stick but rather in a pan. So I think of them similarly because they are both solid.
I would really love to see Ili! I just got my first product from them, the multi stick in dreamer. It is absolutely beautiful on both cheeks and lips. Definitely a more moisturizing product than I am used to using on my cheeks, but one I can use on just bare skin which I do enjoy.

I love this brand. I haven’t bought a lot of makeup in 2 years and went crazy and bought their lipstick, lip oil and bronzer.. also the Mario palette you used as a mirror. I love their products. The packaging, natural style, fast.. I want more. 😅
LOVE Merit! Their mascara is one of the few mascaras I can wear without bothering my eyes, also it's totally budge proof (NEVER smudges), but is still easy to remove. FYI, my mascara doesn't have a bend in the wand so I think yours might have just been bent...it doesn't come that way..lol.

I have some of these products but I will try some of the ways you applied it! The foundation stick looks beautiful both ways on your skin. I’ve used it under the eyes and to spot conceal, but my mom has more texture and I think it would look great as full coverage on her.

Great video Dacey! I keep looking at the Merit products and can't decide if they're for me. You have me thinking about it again. I love a sheer lip. Opaque is very old looking, not juicy. I use the ilia tinted lip balm in Memoir with a lip liner, its my favorite look lately. I'll have to revisit the store to see if I can find a color match for the stick foundation. I used to use the Lancome stick but Id like to get a cleaner one. Have a great day!

I got the merit stick and I love it. It’s coconut free which incredible for my acne prone skin. It doesn’t have niacinamide or pore cloggers. I don’t care if it’s more per oz. buying this forever

I bought the instant glow serum during the Sephora sale. I read then it was recommended you use it with the complexion stick. I bought it but haven’t used it yet. I was afraid it was too light and my first thought was to try it as a concealer. After watching this I think I just need to play around with it and maybe later get a darker shade. Your skin really looks beautiful.

I LOVE a complexion stick but the ones Merit had are not pale enough for me. the lightest one was orange on my skin 😢 but the LIPSTICKS are just wow. 10/10 I have four shades they are perfect sheered out or built up and are actually moisturizing (i have dry dry lips and oily skin)

What a great break down…and your eyes look amazing with just adding the bronzer for dimension 😲 I know people talk about “my lips but better” but I’m looking for “my dark eye circles but better” 😂 seriously…looking for a way to hone in on my natural pigmentation. Eye shadows tend to look too makeup-y on me so maybe this creamy bronzer would do better for my dry skin 🤔

Hard pass on the foundation stick. It has a tiny amount, even after Merit recently rereleased it to be larger after customer complaints. MUFE, Lancôme, Tom Ford sticks are all cheaper per oz. Fine if you only use it to spot conceal. The lipsticks are great though.
I totally agree, the price for the amount is insane. I remember when I was watching a Reveiw of the influencer (Tara Lynn). Her reaction when she realized the price was priceless!!!!!
I only use it to spot conceal personally - but wanted to share how it can be used as foundation. Just eyeballing my collection - almost every single concealer contained 6ML of product, the merit one

Dacey, I would like to share that the formula for Merit lipstick is one of the best, no stick and nourish. I got Tiger in the sephora sale , I love it. ❤️ I want to try the terracotta blush and 1990 for my next lipstick.

Instantly influenced, love all of this and going to purchase! It looks so good! Do you notice any longevity issues with Merit? Or do you have to regularly re-apply bronzer and blush?
Not typically! The only thing I really have to touch up is under my eyes and my nose - but that isn't exclusive to Merit. I usually have to do that type of touch up regardless of brand

The Foundation stick is too drying for my skin. My skin runs normal to dry. I do like their lip stick and lip oil.

They unfortunately don't have international shipping or at least shipping options to Europe. I would have loved to try their lip oils, and I rarely add new products to my collection. I still don't understand why brands don't work harder on providing international shipping, e.g. Glossier, who people have BEGGED for years, it's not even funny. Don't be like Glossier, Merit, please, lol. :D
