Red got that pressure style down . From footwork, controls, smothers . He nice nice
Hell yeah. I want to see him against more killers. His IG is @carlos_martinezzz4

blue is a soldier for surviving thouse 4 rounds, big props to both gentleman. Takes courage to get in that ring
Carlos only spar 3 rounds with him after his work out
And yes it requires a lot of courage to get in the ring respect to the opponent
Bro he needs to step out of the ring asap. He had ZERO power. He's not going to win anything by being a punching bag for 4 rounds
@venomtang easy champ; time to time. That young lad is brave; and that beats pure talent in the long run.
Props to both. Red is wicked mean, blue is darn brave!
Braveness only gets you so far in boxing. Shit red has zero power either he won't get anywhere in the sport either.@@malandro2023
yes it does - it does take courage, only people who've gone in know. Salute and good work to both young warriors. Stay healthy.
I respect the spar but goddamn blue is making me frustrated because he is not turning😂😂 shout out to him though fighting back with heart
All you can do is fight with heart when you’re up against a killer lol. I know he learned A LOT from it though, including what you’re referring to
Yeeah shout out for being another guys punching bag,
So what exactly do yall mean by turning
@@kin_357pivoting
@@kin_357 it means he needs to put his weight on his front foot and pivot/turn to get his back off the ropes
the reason boxing has the most deaths and CTE over things like muay thai and MMA due to the fact that boxing chronically does not leave ego at the door in sparring. Hard sparring is a large part of boxing culture, I get it. But, its not necessary for improvement unless youre prepping for a fight, but in week to week sessions, it actually hinders creativity and learning ability. The point of sparring is to practice hitting and not getting hit, no one ever said you need to hit hard.
Well said bro. When I was boxing I ventured into another gym to pick up some sparring sessions. The trainer said to me "We don't take prisoners in this gym" Rd 1, the guy I was sparring, was practically grunting whilst trying to knock me down or out. He landed a hard right and bloodied my nose. The trainer said "Are you good, or are you a pu$$y?" I did another two rounds, but I had to open up on this clown for my own preservation. Afterwards, the trainer asked if I would be coming back? I said, "If I ever feel a desire to get busted up and punch drunk, I'll definitely be back!"
some fighters improve and develop skills through hard sparring, but not all of them, and certainly not amateurs, so I see your point brah
You are partially right there. As someone who is practicing boxing doing light sparring will make you improve, however once you get good and you want to get even better you need to do hard sparring at some point. The reason for it is that at some point you want to test your reactions to faster punches how to avoid or parry them, unfortunately more speed = harder punches it's physics.
I agree. This is a pitiful display of ego that will only ensure these young boxers leave their careers over early in the gym. Pointless chest puffing nonsense. A hard spar is ok but this is a fight.
There are times for harder sparring but it'll cost you. Lot's of improvement can be made and technique honed in lighter sparring.
And the more explorative, playful sparring that is so useful and fun is difficult to do if you spar hard all of the time.
I'm not gonna play around as a southpaw if it might cost me a concussion, yet it might be very useful, no?
I see Ippo in the thumbnail, i immediately click to watch! What a great match from both fighters.
First comment to recognize him! Appreciate you checking out my work 💪🏽
i noticed that too, ippo is one of my favorite animes , also good job with these fighters, lookin sharp.
@@krisztian1238 brother I haven’t seen you since before the channel got deleted lol. Good to see you!
Blue's problem is that he's got to throw back as soon as that guy finishes his shots, otherwise the guy will keep firing. You've got to condition the opponent to expect danger with every combo.
Good insight!
Nah more like blue guy going ez or has no power at all
@@kyintmar6346 i had that impression too, he was hitting good shot at times but since it didn't have no power behind them, wasn't enough to stop the red guy from still walking forward
Obviously big gap in experience...blue gets more respect from me. He went the distance despite lack of experience. Red should show some restraint since he's obviously a lot further ahead in his training.
Its a hard sparring day to emulate the fight, red is also training, how do you learn finishing opponents if you don’t push yourself past empathy
I'll tell you the truth, the only way for a shorter person to fight against someone taller is to be aggressive, in light sparring they don't do well because they can't get close and throw a barrage of blows...
@@Ignas3runnerexactly. These fools want everything to be easy.
Yea thats a bad solution, blue just needs to step out of the ring and train harder for another 6 months, then come back
@@venomtang as if another guy wont train for 6 months either, there still gonna be a gap. In competitions one's almost always better than other, how do you learn composure and take shots if you can't spar better than you people.
Had the same experience a few days back as the blue headgear boxer.
Much respect to him ,i know how hard it gets being overwhelmed by a stronger more experienced boxer.
You mean an ego-maniac who doesn't know what the purpose of sparring is.
@@Nexus-1068 but that's every boxer ever
@@Nexus-1068sometimes you need those, especially at that level. Like if you’re getting ready to compete, as long as you don’t get knocked out. you should get overwhelmed and dominated at some point so you know there’s levels.
Damn blue giving me traumatic flashbacks of starting boxing while still smoking cigarretes xD... its tough to be in that situation..Red was so SHARP & Skilled probably a PRO.. but blue kept fighting and threw in between the shootouts.. great video man keep it coming
Blue can actually fight though, which is an interesting thing to note. If you watch the video I have where I write “a young Canelo” in the title, he does pretty good there. So I’m thinking he just didn’t have an answer for the pressure, & nope, he’s an a amateur boxer lol
Yeah, seemed like he didn't have a good day. Just a little bit more footwork and distance and he would've kept up. But it is tough@@OfficialParallel8
@@OfficialParallel8 it also looked like red was way stronger
Did you stop smoking becouse of boxing? Did improve your performance? Tell me everything, i'm a smoker and boxing for a couple of weeks now.
@@OfficialParallel8 czcams.com/video/BtL8yURJ2BY/video.htmlsi=pRxs-Qa-xD-VIneG
The one in the blue headgear will overcome this one day. I can't imagine how scary it is to be sparring but its on video and it gets uploaded to CZcams and gets 20K views. Not only tat his whole gym is surrounding him. He'll get better, watch
Anyone who can endure that and still keep going without ever quitting can’t be anything but a future title holder. Most of this sport, as with many things, is a matter of persistence

Positive criticism: If you're going to try to fight like floyd mayweather, watch and ask yourself what floyd does so his opponents are able to smother him and get inside like that. Stiff strong jabs and foot movement, Keeping opponent on the tip of the jab. Let the opponent fear getting inside
Yeah blue tried it but was being irresponsive. Not very good use of the jab. I think he felt overwhelmed by red’s infighting.
W comment 🙏🏾 though blue had heart, somebody has be straightforward about being educated enough about the philly shell 💯
Great Rounds! I felt Fed gears smothering through my screen 😅💪🏾🤝🏾
mike ermhantraut as the referee. now i can die in peace.
3:24 i felt the blue guy's coach
MAN
such a missed opportunity to do a left hook or smth hahaha, but hes definetly learning. just hope he contines learning even if hes a little slow in the start like me, it was easy to dissapoint my coaches then
He will keep going as long as he has the support and will to move forward. Thank you for being supportive towards him too
love your work bro
He defo got the power like ippo for sure
Hell yeah. Ippo was the first thing that came to my mind lol
i love this....they are bringing the dog out of blue helment and red is letting him work. great sparring.
That’s how I saw it too. They let him keep going to make him dig deep and bring his heart out. And I think he did just that because those rounds were NOT easy
@@OfficialParallel8 Those rounds were brutal.
Great spar, both guys getting work
this kind of sparring makes me envious, i see a gap in ability or obvious punching power and maybe red should've taken some gas off the pedal since he was going 90-100% and clearly the dominant fighter, but we dont know the context of this sparring match..i look forward to seeing both these guys put in more work and see these spars will toughen anyone up
Red isn’t putting the gas on at al he’s letting the other guy work a lot of the time, could of finished it when he wanted
Naah red coulda went alot harder fs, he was workin wit em
I agree with the other guys in the comments. Red’s gas tank was probably closer to 60-70% and I doubt he was hitting as hard as he can. I hope I can film a tournament where he’s going 100% though!
@OfficialParallel8 even if he wasn't going 100% he is clearly hitting way harder than his opponent. Typical sparring etiquette is matching their power.
@@tientruong2007 ….can’t disagree with that lol. But i also don’t know the backstory of whether they were trying to get Blue to get used to a certain level of aggression…or did he just walk into that without knowing who he was up against. Red is relatively well known in the area and is ranked #1 in Mexico at 132. So it’s like….you had to know before you got in there lol
I love these keep these coming
You already know!
Amazing video🥊🥊
Thank you for that!
Red blasting out the left body, right hook combos like fire, it's my favorite combo and works a treat very time.
They did good teaching him how to deal with pressure, The kid with red headgear also did good teaching him and giving him a chance to hit back
Blue guy reminds me of the first time I went against an amateur boxing. But I only lasted 1 round that day
red moving like tyson get in close with the head swivel then give a quick 3
the head gear shows how skilled they are
Good work!
Thanks for the support 🙏🏽
Great spar
huge gap in experience , alot of respect to blue
Yeah he stayed in there and never gave up or looked for a way out. Love anyone with that kind of mentality!
Ppl like that will learn how to fight trust me !
Dayum! Red headgear is like a mini Mike Tyson. Angle Shifts, Subtle switch hitting, dipping low while slipping and rolling, aggressive combinations to the body and head, amazing ability to close the distance and take away the jab!
That kids the real deal man! The peekaboo style is one of the hardest and draining styles to master, but he did it all and left blue headgear guessing...
Props to blue headgear though, not much he could have done other than use checkhooks while pivoting outt, turn more to get off the centreline, implement more uppercuts, post the jab out there to better manage the distance for outboxing and vary the jab between power and light jabs to make red headgear respect his power...
Cant say most of this would have worked though, cos red headgear is just too crisp with that technique.
Mad props to both of them.
Thanks for supporting this guys brother 💪🏽 your breakdown of how he fights was very interesting to read too
the red guy shows how dempsey boxing style would look like in a spar.
Incredible job of the gym I wish I could go to one like that..
Respect for blue. Most of people would of quit on round 1
All that anger now its off the street, thats how it should be.
Crazy, blue fought the whole time with closed eyes, both crazy and the pressure and combos from red were excellent
Dayammm blue lacks pop in his punches and didn't jab enough, that's why red was so comfortable moving in and popping off shots without worrying about counters.
Different level
The guy on the red is so smooth on his head movement
Love the way Carlos strikes! Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for the good rounds this time too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Homie and red was putting in overtime 😈⏰
Homie took big shots but hung in #respect
I don’t watch much boxing but I def enjoy these sparring sessions! I do kickboxing and I use a lot of boxing heavy movements but obviously I get kicked in the face hopefully I can get that mastered.
Thanks for sharing the experience then, my friend. I kickbox as well but it doesn’t bring as much interest as boxing, unfortunately haha
Blue head gear is a warrior and props to Red head gear, his hard work and dedication to the sport has earned him some serious skills. Respect to both. Takes courage to step in.
This isn't sparring, the guy is going full force
Really good composure on blue. If I get rushed like that, I would start clinching and elbowing 😂
Very beautiful sparring
A question for you guys,i m a heavyweight (120kg/~260lbs) what is a really good value for money facebar headgear? Like a cheap one imo is really Dangerous cause if i take a big hit from a big guy is prob gonna bend the facebar...but i also do not wanna spend 300€(im in Italy)...any suggestion? PLZ answer ONLY if you are a heavyweight or if you have experience with heavyweights cause it is pretty different
Big ups to blue for stepping in and taking it the whole mile, hopefully he learned a lot from red dude
good fighters!
Both great boxers
Blue headgear is probably a lot more active with his movement nowadays
One is sparring one is in a fight lol.
I can’t believe they made an anime based off the red guy!
that helmet to comfy stepping in you learn real quick when you get your nose popped. hate those helmets but he good pressure fighter. blue is tough forsure.
beautiful
seems like a huge experience difference.
Possibly that, and OR it could be his style is just that effective. From what I hear, he’s ranked number 1 in Mexico at 132, so he’s clearly accomplished.
@@OfficialParallel8 they seem heavier than 132lbs
@@OfficialParallel8 yep thats why hes letting him work but also giving him a look to work with.
I think the trainers saw that and told red to go easier in round 2
wow nice technique
Red one💪❤️🔥
Blue guy needs to do something
red is diligent in throwing combinations
I like how Red Headgear fights. I have a similar style like him but I'm nowhere no near even half of his skill level.
I didn't know Mike ehrmantraut reffed in boxing
Yep! One of the coaches at Irving Pal and I see him often reffing official matches in Dallas tournaments
Respect to the red one. He is very aggressive. Being aggressive is all that matters in boxing
It’s definitely what I prefer when I watch a match! Thanks for showing support
@@OfficialParallel8Does red have a network?
@@tays3144 I don't understand your question. Are you asking me if he has social media or people behind him backing his career?
@@OfficialParallel8 oui je demande cela si la boxeur Rouge a des réseau sociaux pour le suivre ? Merci
I like blue headgears jab
that's why they say dont stand straight up and always pump the jab. red got some style. more speed more shifts n hed be a problem
goated
red nasty with it
Truthfully. I don't know much about boxing but Blue's defense looks solid because he wasn't taking crazy shots. He got hit with a couple of shots but nothing major. Respect to both. He just has to fight for the middle and stay off the ropes because that puts him in a defensive position while allowing Red to get off on him.
Blue helmet has never heard abt left hook ? Nice spar btw
Damn good job both
Thanks for the support!
Blue stood his ground against Red, for sure.
They'll only get better as time goes on.
Yessir, thank you for showing support to both sides
Reds a killer, the pressure he puts on is crazy didn't even let blue get into his rhythm. Also I know it would be hard to face against a guy like red but I still think think blue could've done more :/
Blue got the balls to face tough adversity 🔥💯
I thought red showed fairly good restraint. He did let blue work in some pockets and didn’t seem to be going full tilt, as it was obvious blue didn’t have the strength and conditioning to execute on everything he knew.
keep going son
Already know 💪🏽
If you stick with it after getting beat in 4 rounds like that, then you’ve got real heart. It’s easy to stick with it when you are better than your sparring partners. But when you get beat up for multiple rounds.. that’s when you make the decision to either keep going or do something else.
Blue forgot is style and was looking for exchange and should’ve, keep your distance you had good jab that connects. Blue had multiple uppercut at his disposal use them 🤷♂️. Red good job you had control of the rythme and the ring keep going from the inside and do not forget that uppercut exist an opponent could easily defeat a peek a boo style that doesn’t protect the chin🙏🏻
I feel bad for the blue guy. Huge gap in experience, this aint how the blue headgear learns, this how he get CTE smh
What a beatdown dayum 😅 im guessing they put red with blue to make him think under heavy artillery but i feel like red should have went from 95% to like 70% since blue didnt even know where he was, yknow, some sparring etiquette 😂😂
Red lowkey wasn’t even going 100%, maybe at times he went a lil hard just to let him know it’s levels but he still gave blue his opportunity to work but red made him better at the end if the day
Can a boxer from a gym tell me what it's like, are you all one big family and support each other or are you constantly measuring up to other fighters and developing rivals. Or a bit of both
gym is family and you light spar with them usually
you hard spar with other gyms
When blue was able to stay on the outside he was catching red , if he had stiffened up the jab and thrown some surprise 1 2's and feints
he would have caught him alot more !!
Red Guy boxes the way I'm trying to. Only that I have just two years under my belt while red guy seems way more experienced. High active guard with open hands turned forward, push opponent into the ropes and negate any reach advantage, then commit to shots.
I’m not sure about how long Carlos has been training but I do know many of these elite guys have been boxing since they were kids. Just keep working on it and don’t take days off!
@@OfficialParallel8 thanks!
what size of gloves is that'
What wait does Carlos fight at?
Was blue sparring beforehand? Cause he seemed gassed out way more than red was and if he wasn't, then he needs to work on it asap because fighting pressure fighters like red who has an engine is gona be a pain if he can't keep up or have the power to stop someone like red.
I didn’t see him spar beforehand but I also didn’t see what he may have done before he got into the ring. But yeah, fighters like Carlos are going to be hard for anybody that doesn’t have a motor to withstand his pace
"Sparring"...dude starts fighting like his life depends on it
Hajime no Ippo
Red is really really good. Would love to have a few rounds with him. Keep up the good work brothers💪🏾
Thanks for that brother! Carlos is a monster lol. It would be some of the best work of your life
Esto es cuestión de practicar y pillarle el trankillo
blue is sparring red is just straight up brawling lmao
Nah that was beautiful offensive sparring
Facts. Brawling has zero technique. Carlos is like a technical terminator with his strikes
@@OfficialParallel8 the power and pace for both dont match not even a bit. At least put togethet two fighers who have same energy in sparring. Blue is just getting rocked and fking up his health. Low
@@ricardseglitis2922 I don't put together anyone. I just go to gyms and film. The coaches are the ones who want their guys to spar with other guys. And whether you're looking at it through my film or with your own eyes, coaches do this across the world. Some believe it helps their fighter gain more experience, some may want their fighter to learn to deal with pressure or power, you never know.
Who are the young warriors
Blue should up his intensity to match Red.
I felt Red should tone it down a bit. This is a sparring session, and if your opponent is not going hard, respectfully you shouldn't either.
the red headgear is not really thinking on the figth, he is just punching. and the blue is not figthing
Khonso the moon🌙 is the evil devil born as stone
Is that peekaboo style that the red is doing?
Imagine right their in the beginning if blue woulda peep him finna get rushed quick pivot to the opposite side followed by cross could stop buddy in his tracks fr
Respect for letting your brains batter. No way, this gives you early brain damage.😢
blue had to be the pro yellow lost his composure when he got caught with the hook a fought angry from that point on
Come on red show some restraint dude, blue is gna be brain dead before he can actually fight wtf man.
Good work blue for hanging in there homie!
So nobody gone say nun bout the red fighter’s headgear? Bro had on an entire leather head helmet face mask on protecting his face that’s weird
Why does red one have nose protection and blue one doesnt, it gives red one a unfair advantage because blues shots to the face are neutralised, thus red can be more agressive
Old ass ref making some BS calls to protect his boy in blue smh
