Kojima way of story telling is so weird yet we love it for that it a unnatural way, that leaves the viewers wanting to know what is going on with so much mystery

Honestly, as a fan of all the games Kojima has had a hand in, seeing him finally make games where he is at his most Kojima-esque is filling me with life. I love how even though some things are explained in full-detail, the rest of it is covered in an even bigger shroud of ambiguity that leaves it in a perpetual state of "It just works". I love it.
Ascension is 'on pause', but they specifically said they didn't have a timeline for when it's coming back, so there's speculation that it's just... not going to? Also, re: AI involvement; Super Eyepatch Wolf convinced me it isn't written by AI. He asked Chat GPT to write a Silent Hill game. Based on the results he concluded that, if Ascension _was_ written by AI, it would be just as bad, but _way_ more interesting. The specific dull slog Silent Hill Ascension presents is the result of human disinterest, or human failure. Possibly both.

Okay legendary tales is on steam as well. It’s genuinely pretty fun. It’s not graphically insane but it’s like a mix of dungeon crawler and roguelike with vr magic and melee. I’m really not sure why everyone is so against vr besides the price point but there’s genuinely some great games in there

After MGS4, I just haven't been interested in Kojima. Everything that I saw for MGSV and DS1 just didn't feel like it had that certain something that made MGS2 and 3 so great. As weird as his post MGS4 games are, I agree that "grounded" is an oddly apt way to describe the vibe. This trailer, however, is absolutely nuts in all the good ways. I think that I might finally pickup DS1 in order to play DS2 next year. Hideo "WTF" Kojima is back.
DS1 is one of the most addictive games I've played so far, past chapter 3 when we start building roads and driving bikes that is.

Im still not sold on Stellar Blade. Atypical Slim Thicc Anime waifu with a big butt in skintight leather just isnt enough. Only things that gor my interest are the Sonic Generations additions and Dragons Dogma 2

@@CryoJnikI actually agree but for different reasons. The protagonist doesn't matter to me that much but something about the art style bothers me and I can't quite put my finger on it.
Like the art style between the environment, enemies and main character are inconsistent. The protag looks like a blow up doll made in 3D Maya. It's like Palworld. There's this realistic environment but it's populated with bad 3d cartoons. I don't think it's intentional it just looks cheap to me.

@@CryoJnik I mean seeing as the guy behind the game is one of the most well know Korean artists, I'd say more people copy him. She has her own look to her imo that just fits the style of game this is imo. Hey if you want to write the game off more power to you, not every game is gonna grab ya.
Silent Hill 2 looked way worse than that new short story free game. A PT rip off is atleast a ripoff of something silent hill in tone, where as 2 remake literally looking like RE2Remake to a tee
Yeah, this SH2 trailer stinks of a generic Hollywood attempt at trying to wow us with its action and how big and cinematic everything feels, when the thing that made the original game so uniquely effective was its solitary atmosphere and how unsettlingly personal and subtle it is.
