That's a nice statement she made. She knows that she talks about Jesus all the time and she needed to listen. I like that .
1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1 Corinthians 14:34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
1 Corinthians 14:35 - And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1 Timothy 2:11 - Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
If we constantly bash christian’s for secondary issues we will never fulfill Gods purpose. If you look and read those bible verses into depth you will understand that back then men usually sat in the front of churches and women in the back with children. The women were constantly whispering and speaking out about things in church and asking questions, which is why Paul wrote that women should be silent and ask their husbands in private moments instead. If you don’t recall in the bible, Jesus told the women at the well to go and share and preach the things he had done for her, as well as this women was the first person Jesus open confessed to, to being the son of God and savior, and he told her to go share that. Women were the first to see Jesus had rose and they were the first to share that good news with others. In reading the bible you will see that God does not silence nor tell women to sit down and listen only, but God encouraged and empowered women. When God places a calling on someone’s life no one should stop them or convince them otherwise. God has called ALL to share, spread and preach the gospel. Many are called, few are chosen, and wether you believe it or not, women are included in those called and chosen.
I pray you repent Sadie as you have lead many people astray with your preaching as a woman is not to be behind the pulpit
