Just a little cold, but what a minty looking sled.
Non clicker front shocks... wow.That’s really lame considering the price and segment this sled is competing in.
I think this is the most critical review I’ve ever watched you guys do. You actually said things that were negative about the sled and that was refreshing. I hope you guys continue with doing your reviews in this manner regardless of the brand.
I’ve written off mainstream sled media reviews for years because they are fluff and hype and whatever the sled it never lives up to the glowing reviews. This video was far, far more useful than anything I’ve watched in years. Good job!

Ill take -10 over -40. Thankfully its been a mild winter in north western ontario this winter. Just wish we had more snow.
Thanks that was in depth and thorough analysis, thanks,Yes but you should state that it was in Celsius which is 14°F which isn't all that cold, that's what keeps the snow frozen,II am in arctic cat guy, ski Doo does make some nice snowmobiles but that one in particular doesn't strike me as all that interesting and it seems like you avoid ever mentioning the name arctic cat because maybe they're not paying you enough to promote them or even mention their name,
its because the true reference in snowmobile is BRP and Polaris artic cat are far behind them in technologie and yamaha even more
Have a look around our channel and you'll see we cover Cat quite a bit. Currently though, AC has not provided any of the media with press units to evaluate this season, which explains why you have not seen a walk-around in-season. However, we did do walk-around videos of the Riot and Riot x as well as the 8000 RR this past spring. Oh and the Alpha One won our RAD award at the end of last season. We've also aired the test ride of Riot and this week we are featuring the Riot X test ride.

It sounds a bit like a Kubota garden tractor. I would have rather seen the black machine shown in the thumbnail. Also Arctic cat Gear will keep you much warmer at -10. You looked a bit cold? Nice Video and Thank You.

It was actually feedback from the wireless mic, which we were having troubles adapting to the cold.

Wonder why they did not stay with the e-Tec and went with an EFI INJECTION 80HP motor?Changed the suspension front and rear?

Think they need to ditch the X and just have the XRS with adjustable shocks all around. Paying this much and Skidoo cheaping out on the piggybacks the luggage bag and no windshield...pftt.
They need to rework the Ski carbide adjusters. So many reviews saying they are a pain.
I'm looking at the competition more these days. Plan to buy a new sled one of these years.
Steve B I agree with you about losing the X, or have it standard with a set of QS3’s and leave the XRS with the KYB’s.
Just buy a pair of foxes with it. I don’t see why that’s such a problem
"Fiddler"... I prefer "violinist". In comparison to an 850, How is it on oil? How is it on gas? How does it work on a rough trail? How does it work on a smooth trail? How does it corner in hard and loose conditions? How smooth is it? Does it wheelie through the moguls well? What purchase options would optimize it's performance? How does it compare in value to an 850? Is it worth it? So many questions....
It does show average, and top speed it's in the settings that's what I set mine to

They don't make that mid height windshield anymore but if you look around on the internet you can still find them. I have one definitely worth it.

That's the Factory windshield for X package, also, the new 7" gauge does have speed stats.
That windshield is not the factory windshield. It is a mid height that they don't make any more.
@@jeffbarnes5194 X package comes with the mid windshield, XRS comes with the deflector as he describes
@@rideswift I thought you were referring to the windshield that is being shown on the sled in the video which is a skidoo accessory windshield from 2017, higher than the stock mid height that it comes with.

Let’s be honest boys snap the cellphone into airplane mode while you record. Does that ever take away from your audio and is distracting as hell. Mind you seems quite unprofessional.
