I appreciate these highly specified videos you've been doing lately. Will be helpful for someone somewhere down the line.

My E-mu Proteus MPS has been drifting in and out of tune for a while...mostly in warm climates. It's sad knowing that all this vintage equipment can only run for so long.

Great! So glad you got this working again! Pretty daunting opening this up, I don't think I could ever do that!

I would also spray some DioxIT on those wheel pots.

Funny coincidence you do a video on this; I've been thinking about saving for one of these boards!

Thanks a lot. I think Emulator II ideal for making oldskul punches and kicks effects, in martial arts movies and computer games, with this cool, smash drums:-))

Wow, look at all those IC's! And they all appear to all be in sockets too. Were there any custom chips in these, or is it all common stuff?

Great video! I'm having a similar issue with the mod wheel sending modulation even when not in use. You think I can trim the pot too? Or is there something that can be done on the wheel itself?

I knew something was wrong with the Emulator when I saw the thumbnail... it didn’t have eyes. All fixed up for the next video.

Man, Id love to see a close up of that board inside. Are those all RAM chips?

Great video, thanks. Anyone know where to obtain key contact strip replacements for korg mono/poly?!

Are those 4116's or 4164's? I can't believe they put that many RAM chips on the board. How much memory is that?

Thanks! Do u know btw if there is any calibration for the filter ? My EII seems to be wide open at the value of 80 Cutoff.

It’s funny, since I have perfect-pitch hearing, I could always tell the tuning was slightly off.

Looks like that left pot was replaced at some point? Maybe that's the cause of the issues? Edit: Nevermind, that's all factory.
