I don’t think “love” are the sufficient words for something with -phile at the end of it (edit two years later (jeez): I initially said ‘emotional attachment’ didn’t work and even if ‘phile’ itself means love, I was **reacting** to the part in the video with the societal/contextual stigma inthe drastic sense. I don’t condone extreme/escalating behaviour. Just because you can dehumanize a pedophile doesn’t mean your answer is the best answer. ‘Love’ can easily be viewed differently to an individual and Rat King’s comments say a lot quite well)
It's not about what you think, it's about etymology: From Latin -phila, from Ancient Greek φίλος (phílos, “dear, beloved”).
Natalia Kryukova except it’s not about etymology, it’s about what the word means in the modern context. All of the phile words he used are in reference to primarily sexual attraction.

My tattoer told me about a client that wanted to rub cocaine in the area where he was getting the tattoo "because it numbs the pain"
This is actually true. Cocaine is used in hospitals today as a topical anaesthetic for certain procedures, mostly surgical. I don't know what it would do for tattoo skin, might be interesting to find out.

@@beccak8166 I don't know the effect on the ink, but on the skin it does almost nothing. Because it works better/only on the mucous skin (like the mouth or the belt area)

@@beccak8166 lidocaine is used in the medical settings, cocaine was previously used but not so much anymore. Honestly never in my experience, but there's some old school oral surgeons that occasionally use it as a local anesthesic.

To tattoo a dolphin after he sexually abused it (because that's what it was, the dolphin did not/never could give consent) and also write around it is no different to tattooing a young child in an inappropriate way and writing 'pedophile forever'.. Why do creditable tattooers refuse nazi symbols but allow animal rape themed tatts. None of it should be tolerated, and especially not made into art. That guy (not the artist- the client) needs to be in jail

you'd be surprised. I got a buddy that runs a shop in vermont. And i've seen guys completely straight up on drugs walk in sit down take a tattoo (artist not knowing till half way through when they find out the guy is not responding well to commands) to a guy coming in wanting UV ink tattoos and my buddy going "I've done it once and never again" and the guy literally kept asking over and over and over about it and my buddy tells him over and over like "Dude I am not doing it". People are crazy.
Too bad their mothers didn't swallow them...

So the zoophile story really bothers me. Why did he tattoo that guy??? First off- why do a tattoo that talks about how much you love abusing animals? What if the guy had asked for his arm to say "pedophile forever" with a similar picture of a toddler- would he do that tattoo? They should have kicked the guy out of the shop.. ugh.. this bothers me SO MUCH because this guy is probably abusing defenseless animals as much as he can. :(

Why would you leave in the gratuitous stories of animal abuse? Like it’s not funny or cute and “crazy client” isn’t what this guy would be described as. Especially when he’s arguing the semantics of beastiality vs zoophilia when he admitted to abusing animals.

That's what I was thinking and I'm so pissed that guy let him have the tattoo that the creep wanted. If I was a tattoo artist I would've kicked him out and called the police.

Feels good to live in a country with all kinds of rules. There is absolutely no way anyone would tattoo you here if you are high on painkillers or other drugs or straight up drunk. Never ever, they would lose their license.

I know an artist who only does cover-ups and he's ALWAYS super busy.
He works 13 hours a day 6 days a week and makes bank.
He says he does it to help people and to raise the profile of the industry as a whole.

Luckily I have an amazing relationship with my artist- he always knows exactly what I'm thinking.
It's super important to trust the person who does your back.
But he did my whole leg so I have confidence in him, plus he booked the whole day on Tues for me for my birthday even though he had 3 other bookings but managed to move them for me 😍

So I was getting my hole leg tattood and it was okay. Except for when he start filling in my foot! I have pretty high pain tolerances, so I wasn't ready for it to actually HURT. So I let out this half scream/squeak but panik because I didn't want to just scream in the studio so midd scream I started to sing haaaaalleluja..... Because THAT isn't strange at all!🤔💁🏼♀️

Then when I was paying I fainted. I have low blood pressure so this happens time to time, especially if I sitt or lay down for a long period of time.

One time I was trying to build up my color portrait portfolio, so I was doing free portraits for a couple weeks.
One girl came in and said she wanted a pinup. I was hesitant, unless it was just the face/bust, then ok. So she shows me a card with a painted version of Bettie Paige. Nope. Comes back a few days later confessing she wanted a portrait.... of me 🤭 ok....
I was down lol
She got a huge portrait of my mug on her, and later came back for my tattooed autograph and kiss print.

It's weird because tattoos really aren't painful at all, I think people just get really nervous because they think it will be painful.
I've got 12, including a full leg piece and none of them hurt at all.
But my artist says he loves working on me cos I stay really still and I've never asked for a break even during a 12 hour session.
I've got a 10 hour session on Tues- whoop whoop!

I got lightheaded my first tattoo (July of 2019)because I was so nervous!! My 2nd (September 2019)I was nervous about being nervous lol ended up being fine and now I’m getting my 3rd this week and I’m not nervous at all. So far neither hurt

You can buy from a person, we as individuals do not have access to background checks and it's kind of the reason no matter how many gun laws there is you cant keep them out of everyone's hands. Just saying hes not breaking any laws.
@@feliciasisk494 you might wanna look in to your state laws regarding guns. Not just the person (background check) but the guns (stolen or used in crime). You do have to check with firearms and licenses. Just like pawn shop...... Even if it's just scanning an ID and then reporting to police if they are stolen or what npt.
