- this mix focus on the underestimated talent of the greatest of all time....is ability to make the pass.
you can see how good he was to make blind pass , laser pass , circus pass ,acrobatic pass.....a perfect EYE with quickness and creativity....very unpredictable.
NO DUNK - NO LAY UP - NO JUMPSHOT !!!!!
......JUST SHOWTIME. - Sport
Jordan is under rated of his passing. Because of his scoring.
Really Jordan is the most complete basketball player of all time... thanks for the upload
That's because these lebron but huggers and lazy analyst only bring up his scoring, so lebron apologist hopes that fans don't find out his passing ability is on the same level as lebron's. One last thing, MJ had to score more because he didn't have players like Kyrie, Kevin Love, Ray Allen, Anthony Davis, Chris Bosh and others to help with the scoring
Michael Jordans large hands, athleticism and leaping ability made him an incredible scorer ( the best the NBA has ever seen ) and those same large hands ( like that of a 7 ft center ) also made him an artist when it came to passing like his scoring. The NBA has ordered and made the media to downplay Jordans greatness so it can move away from that era and on to someone else to increase sales and revenue for the league. The media say Jordan was an average passer at best and you can clearly see Jordan was a phenomenal passer. Jordan really reached the pinnacle of what a player could with his skillset, fundamentals and his athleticism in the sport, doing this in the best defensive era of the NBA. Jordan also thrived in pressure situations and loved those moment's and was clutch, he had one of the most remarkable careers in the NBA we have ever witnessed. I mean, all this time later and his shoe brand is still the number selling brand for Nike and the league... everyone still wants to be like Mike. I hate when the media try to brainwash the mellenials into thinking Lebron is a better all around player than Jordan ( he's clearly not ), it's really shows how badly the NBA wants the sport to move aways from Jordan greatness and his incredible career/game. Basically, Jordan broke the NBA by setting the bar so high and the NBA and its media know it.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Everything you say here is exactly correct, including the way you summed it up: Michael Jordan was so incredible in all phases of the sport that he literally broke the fucking game. He was that good.
You my man, have writen a masterpiece. No more to say. Well explained!
YO that pass at 8:39 looks so clean, smooth, and FAST & FREAKY!!! 👀! DAMN, Mj literally looked like Superman/Flash(when they use their super speed) at the moment he makes that pass; and then weaves away from the defender super fast 👀!!! Also, look at his footwork crazy, it’s all in one motion without tripping!! This is crazy, that Black Cat was really like a comic book character!!! That whole sequence looks FREAKY WEIRD!!
I had to rewind that moment like quite a few times to really believe what I was watching!! 👀 Ps I think that camera shot had something to do with it, but man oh man that camera man caught something real special!!!
Glad you made this video. Not many people will say that Jordan was one of the best passers in NBA history, but I always thought he was. There are very few people who could make any of these passes.
Most underrated passer
Jerry West said it best, Jordan had NO WEAKNESS!
Full disclosure: I am a Magic Johnson guy.
This is MJ doing his best Magic impersonation.
Now taking in to account the scorer & defender he was & adding those things to the fact he can even do a Magic impersonation (much less ones This fantastic) and it's no wonder folks love him like they do.
Amazing video!
How can anyone watch this video and not tell me Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player in history? Unbelievably well-rounded. No weaknesses
MJ is the GOAT. Underrated passer
Funny ppl think zone defense and double team is going to work on MJ.. just free assists for him
MJ's ability to read, adjust, react and execute 'while in the air' is unmatched by anybody ever. His timing and decision making in the split second while in the air is off the charts. Look at how many times he goes up for a jumper and in a blink of an eye, gives a perfectly positioned laser like no look pass 'around' defender. Simply unmatched… amazing.
He defied everything your coach taught…beautifully . “Never jump to pass”
this is the perfect video to show people who say "Jordan wasn't a good passer"
thank you
Best MJ video made ever
We need more highlights about his passing skills
His passing is criminally underrated
The best player all time
Preach
There's a lot of Michael to Scottie in here. I miss that duo. They were the best combo ever
what's so good about jordan's passes is how he allows the receiver to finish uncontested. the precision lets the receiver catch the ball comfortably which doesn't disrupt the receiver's next move.
Never did I realize that MJ had an underrated part of his game. He was a terrific passer.
His passing skills is underrated because people just always wanna see his scoring ability and his leaping ability
Those are some of the fastest passes I have ever seen! He just whips them super quick and fast! Lazer fast!
There was nothing he didn't do as a basketball player ther will never be another man that play the game like him ever again because god does not duplicate
Kobe and his fans should take a hard look on this video...
THANK YOU for putting this up! Finally a video that shows how good a passer Jordan is. Jordan himself absolutely hates the fact that everybody focused on his dunks and scoring and forgetting what an amazing defender, rebounder and passer he was...
He had virtually no weaknesses...
Jordan had a genius level b-ball i.q., one that Lebron can only dream of. Jordan won a NCAA championship in 82 and an olympic gold medal in the summer of 84, which seems to go unnoticed. In 84 as a rookie in the NBA he averaged 28 points on better than 50% shooting. Jordan's fame that year was so astounding rival players refused to pass MJ the ball during the All Star game. Guess who was named rookie of the year? JORDAN!!!! Did I mention he was drafted behind guys beneath his level. The next year following an ankle injury that caused him to miss most of the season, what should have been a rusty Jordan dropped 63 POINTS in the garden, against Larry Legend and the legendary Celtics. Nrxt year during the 85-86 season M.J. had one of the most prolific seasons of all time. He joined Chamberlin as the only other player in history to score 3,000 points in a single season.... I will upload part 2 of why Michael is superior to Lebron soon......
Jordan... the greatest athlete to ever live. PERIOD.
Until now, i thought that great passes can only do players like Rondo, John Stockton, Steve Nash, Deron Williams...this video totally changed my mind forever :)
jordan was spectacular at every skillset. Thats hes the all-time greatest. Others make nice sundays, but mj put the whipped cream and cherry on top!
Hes the greatest ever. You dont think, you just do it. Smartest player to play this game imo
all defensive first team 9 times 10 times all first team 5 regular season mvps 6 and 0 in finals 6 finals mvps and most assists in bulls history. Averaged over 30 a game for his career. Made himself and everyone around him better. Just average players besides Pippen and I think he made him better Pippen couldn't get it done without Michael. Most athletic player ever all the acrobatic shots over the head behind the back passes. All over the court all the time the GOAT. Michael Jordan thanks for the video.
Wistiti93420.....You are the man....thanks for educating today's generation on who MJ is....MUCH RESPECT.
No it's not. Jordan is one of the best playmakers of all time, especially when it comes to getting in the lane and finding team mates.
Most people, such as yourself, just don't understand or appreciate that, which is why this video is so necessary.
EXACTLY
My head is spinning from awesomeness....
HE WAS EVEN A VERY STYLISH PASSER. VERY GOOD TEAMWORK. HE EVEN PUT A LOT OF FLAIR INTO HIS PASSING. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT THIS MAN COULDN'T DO WITH STYLE??IT IS REALLY AMAZING!
The intangibles is what made this guy the GOAT.
"thanks Mike"
-Horace Grant
most of these passes led to dunks.. thats incredible.. it takes more skill to thread the needle for someone under the basket
he made pass like that because all eyes of his opponents are on him everytime the goat has the ball.
20 minutes of making it look so silky.
Jordan's passes was so good the other guys only needed to go straight up and dunk the ball or a uncontested lay up. MJ IS THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIMES.
what a player... miss him)
The other side of MJ, he is the real KING!
Also has a higher vertical than James... he defied gravity and is Air Jordan. The best most clutch player as well. I rest my case.
Jordan didn't just jump, he flew.
His graceful flight to the rim helped to coin the term "hang-time".
In fact he has a recorded hang-time of 0.92 seconds and is regarded as one of the highest ever jumpers in NBA history. Jordan had a vertical jump of 46 inches, it was said Jordan had a game dunk that was 48 inches + in his mid 20's from the 88 season.
@@iig2310 is there an actual footage to a dunk that he jump 48+ inches?
@@iig2310 the 46' vertical was measured is '83, in college. After that he added more inches. In the 85' dunk contest he did the free throw line dunk and he dunked with the wrist, the arm fully extended. In the 88' free throw lin dunk, the one we see the all the time.., he ended dunking with the arm slightly bended and the rim hitted the forearm, when experts say that he had a 48' vertical, they keep saying "a minimum" of 48" .., cause it could be easily higher than that. Keep in mind that Jordan actual height was 6' 4", and in the 88' dunk contest, in one of his dunks he had to duck his head to avoid hitting it with the rim, and in the free throw line dunk, his eyebrows where in line with the rim, in order to reach that height, being 6' 4", he would need at least 4' (48 inches) of vertical leap. In his physical prime 88' to 92' he could easily had more leap (he started working with Tim Grover in 89', who is the best athlete trainer out there, after starting with him, Jordan was more strong and explosive)
damn im at lost for words because ive never really paid attention to jordans passing ability....wow
It's no secret that MJ wanted to distinguish himself from Bird & Magic, so he worked more on what they weren't known for: defense (ex: 200+ steals & 100+ blocks in a season, twice in a row). Bird was famous for his 3pt shooting while Magic was known for his passing. It's no coincidence that these are the two most criticized facets of MJ's game. Yet in '89 & '90, he set out to prove that he could've gone those routes if he wanted to. He averaged 8.0 apg (w/ 8.0 rpg) in the former and shot .376 from long range (Bird's career average) in the latter. By comparison, LeBron has averaged more assists & Kobe shot a higher 3p% than those numbers only once in their careers, so far (though LeBron's 3p% is actually better than Kobe's). However, MJ's averages do increase in the playoffs.
***** Shooting percentage is not as relevent as timing. Stop with the percentage comparisons. If you go 2 for 9 shooting 3's, but you scored both your 3's near the beginning, you get your man tighter on you and blow by him for high team percentage scoring and huge leverage to have a lead on the other team. If you shoot 2 for 9 in three's and both your 3's came back to back possessions late in the 3rd quarter after being down 9, you are now down only 3 and your teammates are pumped enough to carry that tempo into an eventual 4th quarter lead with high leverage to win. If you go 2 for 9 but score both buckets in the last 3 minutes of the game to help your team win then you got the job done.
Paul Sokoloff Thank you for that input, I guess. But the topic you replied to isn't talking about relevance in the first place. Might as well tell people to stop talking about sports b/c politics is more relevant in life.
i think this is good. its fun to watch great passes too and this is one of the few videos on jordan's passing. there's probably around a hundred scoring videos so it's not hard to find those.
makes team mates look SO good!!
JORDAN complete package!
Yeah, he could have made a video of all the highlights we have seem a million times, but this showcases one of MJ's many other talents besides scoring.
2:33 'the' pass, the gliding dunk, the deadliest two-player combo to ever play basketball on the fast break! 5:36 no-look behind-the-back precision pass! 10:46 smooth!
Damn that was awesome. I can't imagine how long it must have taken you to sort through all those videos to come up with all those great passes. Horace Grant seemed to be the beneficiary of most of them.
My God look at the spinning pass at 5:34-5:40 O_o
That was just ill as hell.
Filthy. That one at 8:21 where he stops on a dime and one-hand ball fakes the defender, blows by him and sets up Grant for the dunk was freaky.
michael jordan like magic jhonson passing skill!!
Jordan actually had more assists than Magic in the 91 Finals
no, Magic had more... but not by a lot. Jordan averaged over 11 a game... but Magic averaged over 12
he did have more assists than Magic in Barcelona... but that's also because Magic didn't play in every game. Magic averaged 5.5 asissts and Jordan averaged 4.8. Interestingly Pippen was the best passer on that team, averaging 5.8 assists
LelekPL
yes its true ...because Magic did 20 assists in the game 5 .
wistiti93420 yeah but it's not like those 20 assists don't count.
LelekPL
i never said they dont count .... but they explain why Magic made more assists ....because in the 4 first games he averaged 10.5 A/g.
What the hell are you talking about? Have you seen his other mixes? This is one area that not many people know MJ was elite in, this video is perfect.
He's given us plenty of rare dunks and layups in his other videos to this point. I, as well as just about everyone else, appreciates the focus on MJ's most under rated attribute with this video.
6:33 - I remember watching that game... seeing MJ throwing the ball to Bird and thinking, "The rest of the world doesn't have a chance..."
Bill Walton should watch this video. never jump. to pass . ya whatever Bill . mj made it look sweet and fooled the d more .
Michael Smith from His and Hers was right Mike was just a good of passer as Lebron!!
Stacks Gee actually BETTER!!!!!!
MJ almost looked like Magic sometimes doing fancy passes! He's such a complete player including his intangibles! Bronsexuals need to stop hallucinating Lechoke is better SMH
Thanks for this wistiti, great work, i just love every aspect of his game
practically a scottie pippen dunk mix, wis did it again!
I was a witness to this I loved the Bulls since the late 80s... but even I forgot what a passer he was these are all ill none are easy passes. Wow. Just Graceful. I will never forget that pass to Kerr in 97 as well simple but effective. He didn't always take the big shot he wanted to win no matter the cost. Played with the flu that series and outscored everyone.A true hero. Even if you wasn't a Bulls fan. Thank You Michael. I miss the old NBA and hate the watered down pussy shit now days.
Man' ur something. U able to compile all this clip. Its a great show. One of a kind.
Can't believe I'm just seeing this video!🤯
"thank you sincerely" -horace grant
you can get those type of vids anywhere on youtube, me im grateful that this shows his passing ability, and his ability to create for others
this remains the most epic compilation of all time on youtube thank you clutch23
This is part of Jordans game that is overlooked.....alot of critics out there even some haters will say that Jordan doesn't play a team concept......well this video did justice......and not only MJ shared the ball but he made it looked good.....tnx Wistiti93420 for this video.
It's those goddamn gigantic hands, most of the players just don't have the physical ability to make these kind of passes, and the ones who do are centers and not shooting guards. What a freak.
Jerry West said it best Jordan had NO WEAKNESS!
I'm here cause I saw his and hers today.
Bebop34100
Mee too
Bebop34100
I can't believe I haven't seen this video yet. My argument still stands.............He still and will always be the greatest of all time.
Now, let's please stop comparing LJ to MJ, that's just silly...
larry johnson is awesome though.
@@jbeachboy100 LMAO! LOVE IT!
Man H. Grant finished a lot of those!
Horace Grant was very underrated. Thats what happens when you play next to 2 amazing players. He had amazing hands and could catch any pass thrown at him. Some of these amazing passes Jordan made, other guys would've dropped em.
The ball speed is so fast
you're kidding ??? im proud to have made this mix of 20 minutes only with assists !!!!
I’m 9 years late here but thanks for this passing video!
Drive draw n dish greatest of all time thank ya Michael Smith
Amazing
Amazing.
if SHAQ had JORDAN then 11 titles!
AWESOME!!!!!
on second thought, he is the best passer.....
People claim there were no double teams but how many times just in this video is he swarmed by 2 or 3 defenders? Underrated passer. Not magic but excellent. Explains why he averaged about the same assists as scottie without being the primary ballhandler.
I feel you...and YES he was a great passer but watch Come Fly with me and Playground, Airtime...there are sooo many highlights and dunks that we would love to see in your mixes....your the best at finding rare shots and dunks in game action
8:21 is ridiculous
Let's be honest. He's the only reason we know the names Pippen, Grant, LONGLEY, and Cartwright
Don Juan Tempo Pippen? The starless Portland team were on the verge of winning game 7 against the Lakers in the WCF but Rasheed kept jacking up shots and missing, and responsible for missing 6 of the teams straight 13 misses to blow the 15 point lead. Pippen was the backbone to that team. Don't get me started on the 94 year and the bad ref call that caused the Jordanless Bulls to lose to the Knicks, backed by Pippen who led the team in every statistical category and was robbed in MVP voting getting 2nd to Olajuwon (cause they figured Olajuwon had to get at least one MVP). Pippen is the greatest all-around defender to ever play the game, and people like you forget that HALF the game is defense.
Don Juan Tempo Pippen is 1 of the top 50 players all time. Nobody can make you that you gotta be a phenomenal basketball on your own for that honor.
EveryDayIsAGoodDay Jordan has 0 rings without Scottie. Come on man your knowledge is lacking on the NBA
SSJG Goku what about Lebron? if u x out miami then lebron gets his first after 12 years in da league
show some respect. pippen is a legend and one of the best defenders ever
My dream match up was Kobe vs young Jordan ,and LeBron vs young Jordan ,to prove everybody wrong because people think Kobe is the man or LeBron, hell no
I want all ESPN commentators repeating LeBron is a better passer to watch this movie so bad. To promote the present league and it's main name they invented the lie and they stick to it. It's disgraceful.
All of MJs critics can shut the hell up now because AIRNESS could've done anything he wanted on a basketball court.
MR.42 SHOW ME RESPECT
"Michael Jordan? This baseball player ? " John Starks beofre game against Chicago after MJ first return :) We all know how it ended
Damn, MJ made Horace Grant's FG% go up with all those passes for easy dunks.
Two bodies, one game. Nice vid !
Awesome video, something different for a change!
Stop w the Lebron is a better passer nonsense. People who say that annoy me, because A. they either just don't know what they are talking about or B. Don't remember!
Thanks for the video!
+Justin Goff
Thank you
+Justin Goff lebron is fail, he average and not better than MJ. most ppl just jelous and try find who is on same lvl or better than MJ, that person hasnt born yet !
Wayne Walton did u stand near phil and mj every game ? i doubt. he was selfish but not that selfish phil didnt had to say anything
+CherubUltima83 this is the only angle to attack MJ ....his "selfish attitude" ..... lol .... everybody who watched him play knows he wasn't .... but when you are the greatest of all time false critics happens.
wistiti93420 that is true. ppl always try find some reason to make MJ " bad " caz simple most ppl just jelous on him and his career. i dont find him selfish, sometimes mayb he had to be but his determination bout him self to make the shot or to take over in critical moments was just amazing.
does anyone have that pass where jordan is falling out of bounds and finds perdue i think?
Beautiful Video Thanks For Putting This Up!
Interesting plays ... I liked this vide0
and how many blown layup did guys like Ed nealy, brad sellers, sam vincent have when MJ found them wide open. Hi assist total should have been significantly more
Kind of makes him unguardable, doesn't it?
LeBron hasn't made any of these types of passes in his entire career. People say LeBron has surpassed Jordan. You're out of your mind.
Brian Phillips
Mind Blowing how people would even compare the two. LBJ isn't even on the same level. This discussion needs to be put to rest for another 5 years or just forever.
***** LeBron James averaged 6.9 assists for his career which means he averaged 7 assists multiple times from the small forward position while also leading every time he's been on and scoring so he's been the leading scorer every year on every time he's been on led the team in assists every year on every time he's been on and he was probably was second in rebounding every year or so on his team come on now you clearly don't watch basketball my brother
Brian Phillips EXACTLY. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that notices that
Jordan was sick with it on every aspect of the game
i agree
Good video!
Nice upload - would have bet money that you'd include the MJ (saving the ball from going out of bounds) to Shaq (who slams home a monster jam) at the 1996 All-Star Game in San Antonio...
