This guitar solo has been on my list for years! The original is in E flat and I wanted to play in E standard... So I transcribed and recorded / programmed all parts you hear here 🙂
Original guitarist is Erik Gillette. He rocks and I hope he sees this!
Gear:
Music Man JP7
Fractal FM3
Laguna Ocean 5 bass
Omnisphere
Superior Drummer 3
Amazing cover, amazing playing, amazing sound.
Yes, your high speed/trem picking motion is tiny and well controlled, as is your fretting technique on fast sections. The motion is so precise and controlled it gives the illusion that you're playing slower than you actually are. I imagine the opposite holds true for players with exaggerated picking motions. The hand has to move faster to stay in time, so the shredding looks faster. Beautiful work man.

Amazing! Nice
