She is one of the most effective legislators in the nation. She works for the working class / middle class and poor, not billionaires. My impression of her is that she's authentic and really wants to work to make this a better country (where as many politicians want to convince voters they're working for them but, what's most important to them is winning elections and staying in office. Even if they know they're not effective and there are other candidates who would almost certainly do a better job and accomplish more for the country).

Katie Porter better not lose her election. That would be absolutely asinine after her progress in exposing corrupt practices. She is a very effective and diligent congresswoman. We need more like her.
Chris Chamberlain: Yes, Katie is marvelous at exposing the system and it's corruption and I love her for that, but she's proven to be an ineffective legislator. Point to any substantial legislation that has been brought forward, let alone passed, based on Katie's clear and poignant assessment of the failures of the system and the establishment.

There is a lot of money out there against her because they don't want her talking about the real problem. You can't legislate to improve the problem until everyone has it by the root.

Her whiteboard is deceptive. The PPI is rising faster than the CPI. This means that corporations wholesale costs are rising at a faster rate than the price tag they are placing on retail product. They're taking a loss. The rise in profits was due to COVID relief being passed among corporations.
Porter is horrible, a pure socialist that doesn’t have a clue about freedom or capitalism.
People in Porter’s district would be nuts not to re-elect her. She’s a superstar.

She does seem to care. She can perhaps direct you to resources if you are in her area. I’ll bet she can help you even if you aren’t in her area. Well there it is...I gave advice anyway. Good luck. I just love Katie Porter. She breaks everything down into plain language that is easy to understand and allows others to use those facts to explain current issues to the other side. I wish I lived in her district.

Recently I read that Katie lives in the Irvine area of O.C California, she was a professor at the local large college in the area. She was granted a leave and an extension so she could fulfill her term in Congress. By the way this leave is without pay forfeiting a $200,000 plus salary. That in itself shows her commitment to her elected job
in Congress.
...and she does so in a way that is not patronizing or condescending. Well, unless she's grilling a crooked exec..... Katie is awesome.

I have worked in politics as an advisor and a Chief of Staff. She would be a demanding boss, for good. She is brilliant. Her team must launch out of bed every day. They would be proud of their boss and the work they do fighting for American families. If I wasn't an Australian, I would fly to Cali and work my arse of for this brilliant human.
If I was one of her staffers she'd have to hire someone to remind me to go to bed and to stop working once in a while to eat.
I've worked as a staffer for one of the longest serving progressives in the House and I can 100% say that I was excited to go to work every day.
