I'm a legal immigrant living in the US for the past 51 years and I remember when I first arrived in the US, I was so impressed and now, I am alarmed and profoundly saddened to see what is happening not only in the US but also in my native Brazil, Canada, and Europe, especially in England, where people are being arrested for posting on social media something that somehow "offends" some woke lunatic. things in the US are nearing the boiling point and with the coming election, it is only a matter of time before some "crisis" comes along as an excuse to suppress the wishes of the majority. and I am sure that unfortunately it will be something that will cost many innocent lives.

She smiled and was totally behind more butchery of others. Now here's my question, I'm not an attorney but her statements were very disconcerting to put it politely.
Were not her repeated statements and wanting them repeated to the slaughter of more and more Jews an incitement to violence? How is this not illegal? Will the police be pounding on her door to lay criminal charges? Sadly, and I say this with a heavy heart as a Canadian I bet the woke police won't dare to door knock her and the potential for criminal charges is off the table. Why would I say this? We all know how this game is played, based on her religion, dress, sex and skin colour I'm going to guess she'll be given a pass. As wrong as this is, I think we all know how this plays out. Will the CBC televise her overt hate speech? Maybe when a pig flies by my 2nd floor window, but not before.
Here's the part that I believe upsets most Canadians; If I said the same as she did about Arabs, blacks or frankly any other group, thus calling for their murder, I as a white man would (and rightly so, to incite to violence I thought was illegal as it should be) be visited by the police. Not to discuss the matter, but to lay criminal charges.
Where is the equal under the law part? We as a nation need to take a hard stance on this incitement to violence and murdering others. I see very concerning undertones in what happened in 1930s Germany. Goldie is right, this has no place in a country such as Canada. Our politicians need to get off the "woke train" (are you listening Trudeau?) and do what is right, decent, and fair for an advanced country such as my beloved Canada. This has NO place in Canada, if one wants this then leave, spread your hate elsewhere!

Canada has changed so much since Trudeau, it’s getting harder to imagine that it will ever be the same again, the problems he’s created are going to be almost impossible to repair, we are so much the same as Australia, unbelievable what’s happened.
It's an important lesson, when someone campaigns on their basic love of the Communist Chinese system, and says that the country has no culture of its own... maybe don't make him the leader.
We wanted to emigrate from South Africa to find a better life elsewhere for our children, and we were looking at Canada. However, now it looks like there are not many places left to go. I just watched a video about Calais in the UK, which now pretty much looks like any township in South Africa. Around the corner from where I stay, there are also literally thousands of people living in tents/ makeshift shanties, causing a huge crime problem. At the same time, they're just getting poorer as their government isn't interested in them.
The world can never go back to the way they were prior to 2016. Evil will be eliminated from leadership and the world will shift for the better.
