  • The approach to the deteriorating and arrested patient is a critical part of every doctors education!
NB: we test with only 2 helpers so there may be some 'ghost' roles implied.
In this video, our ALS coaching team steps through how we would approach the deteriorating patient who arrests.
This demonstration is with only 2 helpers as consistent with our final test for the ALS trainees. While this is a bit artificial from a normal resuscitation it helps us to demonstration the technical skills and flow of an arrest.
    Thanks for watching!!!

They should have switched roles more often because the compressions became less and less effective

good video. Congrats. What about adrenalin?. Did I missed the first dosis? It looked like that they gave amiodarone first.

I just have a question, shouldn't oxygen be removed when shocking?

for something as important as this ............. considering all health workers are fully vaccinated ................ it would have been very helpful to be able to hear the instructions properly .............. the masks made it nearly impossible to hear the people speaking
