- Unbelievable But True Judas Priest Stories
Following Black Sabbath, Judas Priest is arguably the most important band in heavy metal history. In the late '70s, when Sabbath and others were hesitant about being labeled a heavy metal band, Judas Priest embraced the term and encouraged others to take pride in this musical subculture shunned by the mainstream. Along the way, Priest introduced the now-iconic twin-guitar attack, pioneered the studs and leather look of '80s metal, and brought us the first great multi-octave metal vocalist, Rob Halford, who inspired everyone from Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson to Disturbed’s David Draiman. Though they were never the wildest band in the genre-which might explain why they’re still around and making great music after almost 50 years-they've had their share of outrageous moments and crazy, sometimes horrifying incidents.

Can't listen to JP knowing what Halford did to Jani Lane.
Must have been something quite severe.
He drugged and bummed him causing his suicide
Which was what?

How about the story of the animal PETA activist who wanted them to rename the "Heall Bent for Leather" album to "HellBent for Plleather"?
I have heard about the story but I couldn’t confirm the source… It’s really funny.
That’s you for watching😊
I never understood the homophobic thing. I remember Liberace, Charles Nelson Riley, Jim Nabors. We knew, they didn't make a big deal out of it and most people didn't care. I don't care what Rob's sexual preferences are. I'm sure I could talk him very comfortably even though I'm a straight person. I still listen to their music and will never stop.
As advised by their lawyers
Yeah you are right
Why was weed censored
CZcams is strict these days… we have to work around the rules
When young, I listend to them not knowing he was gay.
When i found out i got rid of their albums.
Never listend to JP since the mid 80's.
High voices in metal isnt my thing either.
Except Tom Araya from Slayer.
Tom Araya is pretty awesome😊
You would be surprised how many things you enjoy are created by gay people.
So he came out in 98, but you knew in the mid 80's? They say it takes one to know one LOL
Yup I'm with ya . He raped Jane e lane from Warrant ...lube tube it

The whole band was sued, Rob was representing them as he was their frontman.
