Wow! I'm still learning Lunar, trying to understand what the best gear set and stat balance is? I see alot of Lunar in Korea still using Salvation Set with Spec, Swift. But I heard post patch changed things. What is your recommendation?

nah I have no thoughts of going raid captain. I've considered going 4 red tho.
you just gotta remember the 3 main cycles to get full meter, which red u use first is situational. I like to start with
nightmare > spinning dagger > shadow trap > vortex
that way you get ur adrenaline stacked up before the red
the other cycles are just
shadow storm > vortex
and
vortex > mist > vortex

this might be a dumb question but how do you cancell out the jump back from Z and awakening? cause i have an hunger as an alt and thinking about swtiching to lunar but the jump back is pretty annoying haha

i would have assumed you'd outdps the blade but you got rinsed by white number chains at the start
yeaa, it's also just kinda impossible to beat any1 actually good at surge these days. when the patch first dropped I was beating blades a lot but that was only because they didn't master it yet. Now there's just no way

Also there might be a gear difference here despite both of you being 25 weapon.
Elixirs and bracelet can account for some massive dps output differences

@MostWantedWannaBE yea there's some gear diff like he has 97 but from my experience surge is just on a whole tier above. well this blade in the video is top 3 blade na imo but I might be biased. but yea if were talking just ceilings surge is untouchable. lunar is on the same tier as soul eaters and then surge is a whole tier above them imo.
@@chaefps I beat a surge db last night at just 22m DPS. I main surge db and rarely lose to others although I agree a good surge destroys just about everyone.

@@chaefps hm so you can sometimes get unlucky i guess, i'm 85-95 and even then sometimes i don't crit so 75-85 looks so low to me i guess xD

@@lolipopsweet3899 uhh theyre both top tier classes in terms of pve dmg ceilings so kinda hard to give a good answer. depends on what ur looking for, one is non-positional and one is back attack. also depends on which engraving ur going for both. hunger reaper, lunar reaper, night's edge or full moon. hunger and night's edge are on the easier + cheaper side, higher floor but lower ceiling. lunar and fullmoon are more expensive, harder to play but higher skill and dmg ceiling. pvp is kinda dead in this game so i wouldnt rlly pick a class just for that but to answer ur question reaper is better in arena and soul eater is better in openworld pvp.
