yoo! nice seeing ur still around. yea honestly I've just been kinda down and not enjoying the game as much as before. combination of burn out, no gs buffs, irl stuff, and burning all my gold past months for 97 but not hitting. It's like i do all my raids and bus just to get 0 gains on repeat. I do want to do the thaemine race still though so might start streaming again next week onward to get back in the groove and also motivate me to play more.

@@chaefps yeah ofc man, your editing is super smooth too. I was a "jumpy" that mained striker for pve and shadowhunter for pvp. Sometimes you gotta do what's best for you even if that means cutting ties. I played since launch, had a full 6 roster character quit for a year then came back for JS, joined "Fegis" then quit the game/guild a few months ago, now I'm back for Breaker lol. Hopefully whatever happened people have the mental fortitude to not be bitches and all is chill. Pce brother.
Amazing gameplay. Kind of a nooby question but in the last phase, how do you manage to make the boss land directly in the middle instead of running from side to side twice? I know it's linked to the player with the eyes baiting to the middle but it has always been hit or miss in my group: sometimes the boss lands, sometimes he runs side to side.
oh yea I think its just 50/50 on which one he does. like the leap or run side to side. just make sure to spam the trap before it even shows its available to toss and u should land it every time. literally just spam it center and it'll toss during the camera pan. some ppl make the mistake of waiting until the camera pan finishes but then it's too late. throw center and then person with eyes walks just a little bit up towards the side furthest away from the boss and then it's guaranteed

chae, do you have any guide of your rotaiton in your twitch channel. also when you need to change a rotation on a different situation.
uhh night's edge rotation is kinda static besides using some of the movement skills like lunatic, rusted nail, or vestige to dodge / hit boss at the same time depending on boss patterns. it's really more about knowing how to position for every pattern so you can hit while dodging. also if theres downtime or u mess up the rotation, being disciplined not to use lethal spinning until ur actually soul snatch and getting used to being able to tell if just an extra normal vestige will get u into soulsnatch or if u need to actually enhance it.

rotation is soul drain > lunatic edge (> Harvest/rusted nail, if not all of your crystals are full) > Guillotine > Reaper Scythe > Lethal Spinning/(unempowered) Vestige (or other way around depending if youre already behind the boss for lethal spinning) > harvest/lunatic edge/rusted nail to get full crystal again (DONT use soul drain at this point) > (empowered) vestige > soul drain > lunatic edge (> Harvest/rusted nail) > Guillotine (> reaper scythe if youre slow and the meter started decreasing too much, maybe even vestige again) > and then youre finally in soul snatch were you should be prioritizing using lethal spinning first to get it a second time at the end of soul snatch, after that repeat, you must hold yourself back to not use lethal spinning more than once outside of soul snatch or you cant use it twice during soul snatch
only force soul snatch when u run out of pink skills to empower (this is the whole point of a NE rotation, but theres rare cases where u can do a 4th empowered pink skill before going into soul snatch, usually after a mech). never use soul drain and lethal spinning in the same building block. after casting empowered guil at the start of ur rotation, u have 20 seconds to complete ur rotation to get into soul snatch. rusted nail is a good meter gen if other purple skills don't fully hit (u actually only need LS>luna>harvest for 3 stones, assuming the skills land all their hits). harvest has some tech where its last 2 hits have farther range that also recovers the most meter. you do less dmg trying to dish out dmg instead of recovering a missed rotation. if you run ADR3, using rusted nail before doing the normal rotation (drain>luna>harvest>guil>scythe) as an opening gives you full ADR stacks by the time ur guil lands.

Nooby question here: What are your characters crit chance and what are the sources? I'm trying to build a Night's edge Soul Eater now and i didn't know she could have this high of crit chance. You crited almost on every hit O.O
it might be a little deceiving in the video because lethal spinning has a crit rate tripod and it's also back attack 10% and crit syn. for the rest of the skills that aren't back attack I am at 72%

yea ill probably be uploading my g3 hard thaemine tn on full moon. full moon's strength is being able to still meter gen during downtime or any kind of difficult pattern where ppl have to respect and dodge. always trying to squeeze skills in whenever possible. a lot of it rlly is just raid knowledge and knowing how to hit the boss while dodging same time too. especially with skills like vestige. I'll try to upload more fullmoon it'll be easier to learn from footage and actually seeing all the windows. there could be windows where u could be hitting the boss that u might just not be aware of atm. also u want to hit boundless fast as possible after ur burst or the tempo is messed up and u might go boundless right before ur following burst. sometimes it can't be helped tho depending on the boss. you want to really master the cycle right after ur burst. the boundless timing is rlly important. no mana tripods, w/ mana food + support using mana tripod is bis setup. if ur support can't use mana tripod cause of ur teamcomp I just do lvl 1 mana on vestige + mana food.

Has your opinion changed in regards to the damage ceiling of NE vs FM? It looks like NE tends to win out if they're not even in 90% of the fights and the ceiling seems to end higher too ever since people started uploading logs, thoughts?
full moon ceiling is a lot higher imo, but the floor is also a lot lower. a lot of people can play ne at ceiling thats why it looks that way but only a few ppl actually can play fm near ceiling. im on full moon now so this is me speaking after playing both.

question: for nightmare set (nights edge) do you wanna stay in magick addiction or boundless mp?
u never want to go boundless on night's edge. it gains nothing from going boundless. going soul snatch already gives u the downtime needed for ur pink cd's and the boundless cd doesnt help u get off a 3rd lethal so all ur doing is cucking ur dmg.

@mack832 I think full moon is better and both higher dmg + skill ceiling. by default it does same dmg as nights edge but has better atro windows and if there's any kind of downtime or dr pattern full moon wins. nights edge is more chill though and a better alt, so depends on what ur looking for. I'm constantly chasing ceiling
se is my main but i'd rather run nightmare over hallu once i get master set, i have a 4% precise on my bracelet too, but atp im just trynna find what more fun to play, and trix isnt a rly good representation of ne as far as I've heard so@@chaefps

yea I main swapped for now. I haven't rlly been honing any of my gunslingers. waiting for them to buff or rework its just not worth maining it atm. they actually aren't good at anything. dmg is bad, worst crit syn, chaos dungeon is even bad, they fell off in open world pvp, and they're expensive. if gs goes to the moon then might swap back but yea ... it's unfortunate
