The most helpful part of the turning process!!!!!
Thank you. The first one I tried was a huge mess😁
I’m always straight into your videos the minute you post them as I’m eager to see what you’ve got for us!!!!!!!
👍👍👍👍
haha, that's awesome. Thank you😁
Thank you so much! Washable is so important. These would be ideal for toddlers sorting small toys.
Perfect for Leggo too Bonnie😁
I just noticed you are over 90K subscribers now, That is awesome.
Thanks Cynthia. I'm looking forward to my 100k milestone😁
Heat wave across the United States. 35°C, where I live, which is not normal having a coffee and a doughnut will watch Christine’s video and then continue to make cat cushions for the shelves in my new cat cage. At some point, I will move it for a makeshift catio
Totally opposite weather. We retired high desert Southern Caliornia. Lets say 2 hours east of Death Valley but being a bit higher elevation is better. We've had more humid weather then I remember for June and July. We have swamp coolers not air conditioners because of typically dry weather. My home also has high peaked roof. Its been 82 degrees and 90 humidity in the house! It seems counter intuitive but we have small patches of grass near house in both front and back yard. Back is west facing. It reduces heat up to 20% inside! And keeps more dust and ancient volcanic rock dust out as we are between 2 mountain ranges that create high wind gusts. So in summer we have to do yard work at 6am and dusk! And why Im watching your videos now in mid day! Im glad you are doing boxes. Ive covered some myself or just cut down tissue boxes but Ive not seen some ideas I would try until now. I always come back for your better technical ways to do projects!
Thanks for sharing your part of the world. Aside from the dust and humidity, it soulds wonderful😁
It’s 110F outside in Alabama and I’ve begun to make holiday and birthday gifts for this winter. Winter in Alabama is when I do most of my outside work, since the daytime temps drop to mid-60’s F. I have decided that only budget friendly, home made gifts are the order of the day. I have to live within my budget, unlike the US Government! I also have to balance my budget! ❤
WOW! That's hot Jobelle. I think I'll stick with winter😁
I like quick n useful projects. Scrap buster too! Thanks, Christine. Your voice sounds very clear on video, hope that means you’ve recovered from the bug. You’ve been in our thoughts. ❤
Thanks Cyn. Yes, all over the cold now. They take longer to recover from as we age though😁
Another great project! Thanks!
Thanks Rosa😁
Cold & windy sounds great, here in Southern California we are burning up 🥵
That doesn't sound like much fun Kenna😁
Nice little project, I'll make some of these. THANKS Christine. Your subsciber list is growing so fast.😊
Thanks Janet. I'm excited to be almost at 100K😁
You read my mind! I was looking at making some boxes, thank you!
There was no room left in my mind, I had to visit yours😀
A while back, I found a video to make one of these. The finished tray was to be a rectangle. I don't know what the heck I did wrong, but the first one ended up a perfect 3x3 square. 😆. So I made another one about a quarter of an inch bigger and now it's a cute little box with a lid.
I still want some rectangular trays, though, so thanks for this tutorial and clear instructions! 🌺
haha, I tried to figure out how to make a box, and kept getting rectangles😁
Brilliant
Hi. UK here. July 8th. Also cold, wet and windy - it's jumper and winter coat in the mornings, but sometimes brightens a bit in the afternoons! I'm really enjoying your videos (and the occasional glimpse of Aussie countryside), love all the different projects, which you explain so clearly. And your dog is adorable, is she a Boxer? July'24. UK. E❤
She is a Boxer Eileen. We just adore her😁
Great containers useful in so many ways. Good for a beginner. Thank you Christine. Take care🇬🇧🤗
Thanks Mrs M😁
Another cute idea to keep me out of trouble.😅
Same 😂
Ditto. 😂
Happy sewing Carol😁
This is a great project to give as little gifts. Thank you
My pleasure Marlene. Thank you😁
Oh, Christine, I'm in Pennsylvania, US, and it's in the mid to upper 90°s F today. Again. And tomorrow near 100°and probably next weekend, and no air conditioning. Just a lot of fans blowing around a lot of hot air...😂
Oh, I think I'll stick with my cold wet rainy days😁
Love the markers falling. Something I would have done🎉
I think I do that at least once a week. I'm such a clutz😁
I have use for these in my craft room for storage of my supplies. Perfect! I am definitely making this one! Yaay ❤!! 😘👍thanks
Happy sewing Elayne😁
L❤VE how you explain the "fiddly" parts.
Thanks Patricia. They really were fiddly😁
These are great! My local big box store gives away very sturdy, steel reinforced fruit tray boxes. I have made these types of dividers to fit into the large fruit tray boxes., making it very handy to move projects from one room to another, and to keep all of the pieces of one project together. It can also be an inexpensive sorting toy for children, sorting colors, shapes, etc.
Thanks Patricia. Those steel boxes sound like they'd be very useful😁
Great little boxes, will pass the time making them in the cold wet and windy weather here (UK) too...😄
I watch a few CZcamsrs in the UK. It seems wet all the time😁
Thanks Christine they are great little boxes pretty as well they will have lots of uses
Thanks pamela. Nice and quick to make too😁
Absolutely love it . Thanks
Thanks Mariana😁
Wow! Thank you so much. 💚
You are so welcome Malathie. Thank you😁
Look at you giving us the needle size and seam allowance.😂😂 Only one thing missing, and that would be the stitch length. However, I’m still so proud of you. 🤪🤪😅🇨🇦🇦🇺🇺🇸
Some days I actually remember😁
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs 😅😅
Love it. Also love the put put sound of your machine. What is the metal guard on the foot?
Thanks Cathy. The guard is so that I don't stitch through my fingers😁
Great method for your boxes. My question is how can we make the hexie shaped box with your clips stored in it?
I did a video for that last year Dorothy. Here's the link 😀 czcams.com/video/0eDtkx6IEvY/video.htmlsi=b5fbmPu3RhvPwl2t
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs thanks for the reference to the hexie box. My next one will using your method. I just need to gi d the interfacing you used. Thanks so much.
Great tutorial. Do you have one for boxes but with very structured sides and bottom so they are not so floppy. I would love to make drawer dividers for our home.
Yes Deb. I have one using Peltex that is a little bigger. czcams.com/video/H7ueigW_UFo/video.htmlsi=IwLQKbp4qDQVIc6c. You'll find others on my channel too if you do a search for "storage"😁

Thank you so much
90° and humid for most of the week ugh
Doesn't sound like fun Sheila. Humidity makes my hair go all frizzy😁
Hi Christine. I have a question regarding your helping hands card holders, I’ve made several since seeing your video sold lots and given away just as many, this morning my husband was having a garage sale, and knew there was a dozen of the holders not sold , dug them out, only to feel that practically everyone was broken, almost like a shattered mirror, have you had that experience with yours???? It’s mind boggling, I have not had that happen before, and no one has returned any! Thankyou in advance! Greetings from British Columbia. .Lou
I've had a couple break when people pull them apart too hard. I started doubling the DVDs to help eliminate the problem. I haven't had them returned either, but once I discovered it, I did suggest people be careful with them😁
Can u do a tutorial on making lids for these storage boxes? I’m afraid my kitty will knock over these boxes but w lids on there won’t be quite the mess.
I do have plans for another storage container with a lid Ellen. Just need to find some more time😁
Oh super. Thank you
How cold is it there ✂️🪡🧵
Today was about 11deg Celcius. Cold, wet, windy and raining😁
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs it’s the middle of summer here in the uk and it’s 15 degrees 😂
