  • John Deere LT180, Kawasaki v-twin 17 hp k-series engine with Mikuni carburetor. It has been used once a week for months but today ran for 10 minutes and died. Would restart and run but only on full choke.
Common problem with a relatively simple fix.

Hmm dont know... this one is boring and not worthy a 30k subscriber channel... just my opinion... and his last video from a few days ago he set on private. Why then publishing it at First? I unsubscribed...

Those bolts on the sides of the engine cover don't have to be removed you can just loosen them the cover is slotted

Today's modern mowers have SO MANY safety switches if one malfunctions the mower WILL NOT START, WILL NOT CRANK.
Some, you can't even see much less check to see if they are closing or opening or whatever is their happy place.
It would be a great help if the MFGs would spend another 25 cents & put a 4 led panel on the dash to monitor those 4 safety switches. seat-brake/clutch-mower engage-mower discharge switches.
I guess we could add them after the fact but it would be so much more difficult than on the assembly line.

The "thing at the bottom of the carby float" is solenoid! The most expensive part of the carb!

Thanks for the video. I just picked an LT180 up for a couple hundred. It sat for years but cleaned up great. I cleaned the fuel system out and it runs great!

there is a tiny screw in top of carb to adj for more or less fuel that would have been a good place to star
