- Lance Colley and I hiked out of El Chalten just after 7am with very low expectation to climb becasue of forecasted high winds. It turned out that the approach was winder than the sheltered east face of Aguja de l'S and we tagged the summit in just over 13 hours town to town on February 17, 2022.
Unreal content as always. These videos somehow get better and better. So motivating. Keep it up man!!!!!!
Dude all these vids have been siiiiiiiick.
I've been thinking of snagging one of those edelrid aramid ropes how've you been liking it? Y'all should do one of those what's in our pack type videos/what neat tricks y'all have been using (like fix and follow)
Very sorry to hear about your friend John Bolte, just read about his passing. I hope you and the rest of your companions down there are coping well. Safe climbing!
Rip John, a really really awesome guy
What a beautiful planet we have.
Thanks for the videos, wonderful ..... God bless you!
That peak really was 'pointy' I'm amazed it was stable. Well done. You are so fit.
No puedo creer que hayan hecho eso en 13 hs! Ustedes estan dementes, son unas bestias. Felicitaciones!
Precisely my thoughts!! this is crazy
thanks for giving me something to watch while i recover from shoulder surgery. Yessah from Hawaii
I miss El Chalten... crazy that you both did that in a day!
That's the most amazing rock ever. With that friction, you can leave the chalk bag at home.
Really amazing footage as always! Thank you for sharing these pictures and emotions with us. Helps through shitty weather at home :)
Not quite through it but as usual tne views and climbing are top notch. Projected it on a giant screen for my landscape painting class lots of ohs…and…ahhhs…
Tyler i have a serious question, how are you able to go on all these amazing excursions and manage the expenses like do you save or are these more manageable than I’m thinking
I think this with every video
@@cameronkerr5118 he did a breakdown of finances a while ago (maybe it was in the comments?) either way, he sold his van to fund this trip
Trust fund 😉
I worked for 3 years as a civil engineer, lived frugally, saved up my income and invested some of it. I quit my job and have been living off of my savings and investments. It's quite a simple concept and it really upsets me that people think I'm a trust find kid... None of my money has come from a trust fund of anything of that sort.
@@tylerkarow love this and it's great inspiration for me still so young to put my head down and earn towards a life you're living... Love your videos man keep living your best life, you're a legend
That was an awesome climbing !! Wish I can be there in future.
dude you are literally living the dream. so jealous
Totally yelled along with you guys on the summit!
Estuvieron en el Chalten! Yo estuve en Enero! Como me hubiese gustado cruzarlos e invitarles una cerveza! Saludos desde la Patagonia!
Really like the videos just wish they had more content climb on
Your stoke at the summit haha!!
Love the videos. Your one of my drive to climb harder and go out and try my hand at alpine climbing in Colorado.
Also What does koombray mean. I have heard it in a lot of the videos and was wondering
¡CUMBRE! - summit
I’ve always wondered, do you sacrifice slings on the rappel or just use whatever is already up there?
It is good practice to use "new" slings when ab-ing off.High UV radiation has a bad affect on in situ tat.
My mates and I would replace our slings before a big trip and that gave us a few throw-aways.
Also carried a length of 7mm cord to cut and tie.
Tyler, another high speed, light weight alpine ascent...first rate watching.Well done.
We bring cord and add it as appropriate
Omg! How long did you take in the actual climb and how much with the approach? I took longer to just go there without any weight on, climb nothing and come back. You guys left later and arrive earlier, wtf 😒
Another awesome video, thanks for sharing it!!
Keep following your nose Tyler! From your Canadian friend.
Nice video! Wish there was some GoPro footage though. Did you get the Swift Protect Pro specifically for this trip due to its cut resistance?
My partner had it and yes that's why he brought it
So fucking sick
Quite the views up there.
How have you managed to balance adventure/alpine climbing with also getting a lot stronger as a climber? Is there a lot of hangboarding/ cragging/ gym climbing in your regiment?
Zero hangboarding and gym climbing and minimal cragging. I just climb outside a lot.
Lowkey love that this guy lives my nightmare's like it's nbd, sik
That's rad
this is what life is about
You're so awesome man
that cumbre is scaryyyyyy
is lance wearing a red nuclei fl on the approach?

This route is Voie Fisher?
At 3" you belay on micro traxion ?
Thats a beautiful line. Whats the name of the route?
Chiaro de Luna
🤙🏻
Besides the screams and the gestures , who is belaying who ?

Lol
Dilly. F'ing. Dilly.
Bro did u go to USC?? I think I recognize you
Yup!
In wich Country are you in this vid ??
Argentina
What do you guys yell at the top?
I think cumbre which means summit.
Maybe you should start a buissness training others to climb. Then you could make money while climbing. Just a thought.😊
