It’s one of the most unique floor plans out there and definitely my favorite. I’ve been harassing our local dealer about this floor plan for almost 2 years. So glad it’s finally in production! I like the seamless look in the kitchen backsplash. If they added outlets I’d prefer a power tower. For the bedroom outlets, I’d add more in the cubbies. Thank you again for the video!
They should put a power area on that counter for coffee pots and the like. otherwise I love it. I have the 2427RB from 2021 and love that one, this would be a perfect upgrade!
We purchased the 2022 2730RL as our very first RV after doing about 2 years of research and I couldn't be more happy with it. When I go in other peoples travel trailers now I feel like ours is just constructed way better. I really ended up choosing this one because it met every single item on our wish list (rear living with an unbelievable view, recliners directly across from tv, accommodation to sleep a couple xtra adults if need be, 50a w/2nd AC, king bed, awning NOT installed over slide wasting awning space, azdel). This floor plan was the only one we could find that was laid out in a way to offer all of those things, so way down in the south and knowing nothing about Winnebago, we went with it. After camping with it for a year the floor plan is freaking awesome. We only realized after having it that it really had all kind of other top end bells and whistles that make life better (7ft ceilings, storage, large shower, 10gal heater, almost residential type fridge, power stabilizer jacks, built in ladder and the list goes on). The only thing I could cry about is the new colors you see in this video that came out in 2023 - so much better I wish I could swap it for a brand new one. Also, my F150 Powerboost not only pulls it everywhere locally just fine, but the built-in 7200kw generator in the truck runs the entire camper with both ACs going and its not even half way pegged out. For longer hauls out of state, we use our 2500 diesel to pull it just to make it more comfortable, but my F150 will tow it if necessary, I just dump the water tank out and be weight conscious. Anyway, kudos to Winnebago for thinking out of the box on this one, good job.
Since there is a hanging closet in the bedroom, I think they should remove the bedside hanging wardrobes and do a bank of enclosed cabinets across the head of the bed. It would open up the room and be plenty of storage!
I would say tower of power on the kitchen counter or at the least a wall outlet in the kitchen. The outlets in the bedroom should be moved to the wall at the back of the nightstands. And I like the shelf above the bed. I am an avid reader and I think that is a cool space for a good pile of books. Thanks Winnebago! And thank you Josh!
I love this...nice bright interior finishes, the black-out window blinds, and an excellent floor plan. I was thinking now all they need is Azdel. Then you said it did. I would agree that an outlet next to the countertop would be great.
Wow, this is the craziest and luckiest day in awhile. I love this camper and have watched it on other channels for months...including this morning. I realized Josh had never covered this specific model and of course would prefer his take over others. The fact that this is his new video today has to be a sign...especially when I'm searching for one. Overall, I love the Floorplan and 31ft with a ridiculous 3k cargo capacity. Also love traveling access and closet in bedroom with more open bed plan. I like the no need for a bedroom door also, just creates a better space for me. The knocks are fridge access in travel and....not too much else. Thanks Josh, you just got me started on a great weekend!
Woah! Great job! Hard to complain about much with the floorplan this model. I would love to see small attachable table(s) on the loveseat! I also like the outlet for the kitchen countertop idea. In the bedroom I would love to see that overhead shelf have a plank across it to keep things up there since they didn't put cabinets. USB ports would be a lot better moved up. Winnebago is going in the right direction with stuff like this!
Need an Awning over the Camp side slide Definitely need an outlet on Kitchen wall Bedroom outlets are fine And the bedside closets are great the way they are, no claustrophobia!
Cabinets over bed, I'd want a bunk with a lower couch where the hide-a-bed is. Making it a bunkhouse with the same seating. Outside storage needs a slide out for a camp chef 3 burner and a propane QC.
another nice review. In my opinion that is a very nice unit. Great floorplan and the build quality looks spot on. And at a length that is towable and parkable almost anywhere. take care,
Really cool unit! I like that the overhead storage above the bed isn't enclosed. We have a smaller unit now (WolfPup) with a similar setup, and I can barely reach the center cabinet without crawling all over either the bed or the Murphy, whereas with this, I could pack a few pretty baskets in the house, march them outside into the camper, set them up, and ALSO be able to reach them while we're out and about! (For reference, I am 5'6", and my husband is 6'4". He has zero problems reaching the super deep storage in the top BUT he's too tall to wiggle around the doors on the side and get things that have slid all the way to the nose. I LOVE that Winnebago created a cute bookshelf spot with the back of the closets instead of having a zone that's impossible to reach!) Oh, and I really like where they put the outlets in the bedroom so your phone isn't right by your head and, more importantly, any glowing that comes from the outlets (though these don't look like they glow) isn't shining in your eyes while you're trying to fall asleep.
We have a 2022. Bought it in December. We love it. Ours has cabinets above the bed. We have tinted windows. Yes, Winnebago should put more outlets on the kitchen wall. There's plugs, 2 sets, on the sides of the recliners. This trailer rocks. It's our 5th trailer and so far we are really pleased. I do the counter scoot to get into the fridge/pantry on the road mode. Wish the 2022 had that fridge and the double doors in the bathroom our cabinet door hits the toilet. Otherwise, great trailer. 🎉
While I do appreciate the change by adding theater seats, personally I'd rather have the dinette so to be able to enjoy the beach view. If sitting in the theater seats, your back is to the campsite view. I LOVE that hidden pantry. Very clever with the sliding entertainment center. 👏👏👏👏 The colors are really nice 👌
Love the open shelves in the bedroom I wish they would do that over the sofa too. Definitely need the plugs in the kitchen on the hollow wall not on the underside of the cabinets. Love this model! Specifically the fridge, hidden pantry, campsite window coverage and big living!
Love this! This would be great for my hubby and I for sure. Love that pantrytainment center, what a great use of space. There are a couple of things-the small oven is kinda wonky for the ginormous refrigerator. I agree with your comment on the kattywampus outlet in the storage area, and what was the glop on top of the solar panel? And the dining table for the sofa also seemed a tad unstable. Overall, I really do like this unit.
Nice camper, wonder why they put the electronics below the water hookups in the pass through storage? Auto leveling would be nice, and yes in the bedroom I don’t want to step out of bed and get tangled in my power cords.
Upgrade the stove, move a plug down near the counter, tower plug or in the wall? Should have included a sound bar in the entertainment. Nailed the bathroom and shower. Very nice unit with a lot of great features. I would move the plugs in the bedroom from the face of the side stand to the face near the next level, not to the back near the front of the unit. I would like some type of encluser for the storage up top, maybe a net of some type. Very nice and well thought out unit.
Hi Josh😁….greetings from Boise. It was great to finally meet you! This RV is AWESOME plus the price is about what I thought it would be 😢 As far as power plugs I really think there should be 1 on each side of the bed plus 2 more in the kitchen would be good. In my kitchen right now I have 4 by the time I add coffee maker, night lite and one for a electric skillet, but I really love the floor plan!! Have a fabulous week! Georgia and Cory
I think the headboard side pockets for the bedroom outlets. Would love to also see a dual pane/euro window option. I used to live in a single wide and absolutely hate roller shades.
@@JoshtheRVNerd In my experience they don’t stand the test of time on the spring mechanism. Secondly, the sides and bottom still leak a lot of light so the blackout moniker is not the most accurate. And finally third, they can dry out and develop holes and tears. This is also from my experience in the arid desert of New Mexico which is notoriously for not being exactly forgiving.
Outlets. Option D: All of the above. Like a house, I don’t think that you can have too many. The more the better. CPAP machines, cell phones, computer or iPads, coffee pots or other appliances; so many items that need plugged in.
Thanks Josh. I like this trailer. I'd lose the lagoon table for a free standing table or TV trays. Stove on the wall sucks. Why not have an outlet on the wall? Enclose the cupboard on the bedroom shelf. Move the outlets up near the head of the bed. I prefer the closet to a W/D hook up. 2nd AC is a MUST. Road Mode is good enough.
Nice layout. Another great review Josh! Agree on the outlets. I dont care for the blue cabinets and I like the cabinet doors over the bed in previous years. Otherwise, ita pretty cool unit!
I have a 2008 Jayco 31V still have because I have not seen a modern version until this one. I will look for it to buy. Colors, wood tones all on point. I love no dinette, means no waisted space. This TT design is something to be proud of. I see knock offs coming.
The more I see of Winnebago, the more I like them. How about dumping the useless oven making room to bring an air fryer or toaster oven. I would also like to see combination propane and induction cooktop. They do it on their View. Lots of folks may not be into multi day boondocking but do want the capability for a night or two at Harvest Host. How about a more power-friendly 12v option for the refrigerator? Appreciate the information you provide!!
I would nix the wobbly lagoon table and provide an adjustable height free standing folding table to be used as extended counter top, or dining wherever one likes! Wrap that pretty back splash to the side, as you usually suggest! I like ALL your power outlet suggestions. I would totally go over the sink, for perfect road mode! As always, thank you!
I think the bedroom headboard shelf needs to be enclosed or move up to just below the panel seam, or both. It felt tight and I'd feel cramped with it that close to my head? Could I even sit up and watch tv? Agree they need to relocate the outlets into that "power pocket" area. An extra outlet in the kitchen wall and a bigger oven would make the kitchen that much better. And maybe a longer counter extension?
I love this, but you are spot on when it comes to the electrical outlets. They need to be within reach and lots of them in the kitchen. In the bedroom I would have the outlets on the installed on the other shelf, right on top of where they are now or within an arms reach.
Yes! I agree Josh, there should be a power outlet down close to the counter top. Also, I would take out the shelf from under the sink and have it open for a garbage can. And, I would prefer a double sink instead of a single sink, but that's just my preference. I do love this model with the hidden pantry though!!
I see a few corners cut to save money. Like the thin mattress, cheap wall and ceiling moldings, undersized TV and can't someone come up with a better ceiling light than those puck things ? Winnebago is starting to slip into the common RV class, but still priced as a premium unit. We were finally ready to move to a nicer class RV, but Winnebago doesn't look like it. Hurry up with the TT Brinkley.
Need 2 sets of power outlets on the kitchen wall. Bigger 22 inch oven. Go to smaller 12 volt 2 door fridge then fill any extra space beside this fridge with more shelving. That's all I got.
move the outlets in the bedroom to the same spot as in the mini and then move a kitchen outlet down on the wall. maybe add a set of USB's in the corner of the kitchen for a little dump/charge spot. also could use a power outlet on the passenger's side of the storage aera unless I missed it
Like the rear set up but, definitely need the larger oven and move the outlets to countertop area. In the bedroom put cabinets, not a shelf and move the outlets up to countertop. I do wish they’d move the door down so you don’t get spritzed. One more thing is I’d actually like to see a large 12v fridge instead of the household fridge.
Nice TT, but I’d want a dinning table. Agree with you on the elect outlet locations. Would also want cabinets above the bed with doors. Would not buy any RV with the Schwintek slide. Nice job Josh
A great camper! I love opposing slides can't imagine going back to single slides. And finally those slides plus camp side windows and small enough to fit most places! I have always liked Winnebagos but they may be ahead of Rockwoods in style now!
Not a fan of this floor plan due to the crappy road mode and camp side slide that steals your awning area. We bought a 2021 Winnebago 2831RB and LOVE it!!!!
For every "feature" they add they seem to take away two. Cabinets over the bed (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages) Sliding cubby lids for the "bedside" cubbies (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages) Drawers on each side of the bed (towards the foot of the bed like they were on the 1st run of Voyages) Kitchen wall outlet(s) Bedroom outlets back on the cap wall (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages) Medicine cabinet with mirror instead of that cheap notel 6 mirror screwed to the wall (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages)
THANK YOU for noting the janky wet-bay outlet plate. That was just what I thought as soon as I saw the bay. Knowing me I would either make the dealer straighten or I'd do it myself. I'm the weirdo who straightens other people's hung pictures, artwork, etc. Unrequested, of course.
The hidden storage is very deep. In a pinch, the shelves could be used as children's bunks. When they don't behave, you can lock them in their bunks and watch TV.
Pretty decent unit, but as you pointed out, several small details such as the crooked outlet in the convenience station not to mention all the Dicor they slathered on the roof (as well as the solar panel!) makes the overall impression of the manufacturing process hurried and sloppy.
I like it but not enough to upgrade from my 2801 Winnie. Mine is a ‘22 and the bedroom shelf is actually a cabinet. For ‘23 its a shelf like in this unit…looks cheap. I wish Winnie would go with a pop up power station in the kitchen like Jayco does. I have to hang an extension cord to easily use the outlet.
Ooh, la, la - nice! Love the campsite windows. Bathroom 👍 - great medicine cabinet placement! I don't use the oven in my camper, so the Easy-Bake is just Easy-Storage for me. The only things I would personally like different would be to swap the hide-a-bed for a jack knife sofa, and downsize the bed to a short queen. Very, very nice overall.
Wow really love the floor plan .Looks roomy and clean modern . Electrical outlets need to be more convenient in bedroom .Over all very nice trailer . Thank you so much for your commentary ,you make it interesting ...
I love it. Outlets could be rethought…and a washer/dryer combo would make it perfect!

They should put a power area on that counter for coffee pots and the like.
otherwise I love it. I have the 2427RB from 2021 and love that one, this would be a perfect upgrade!
Road mode snacking could be solved with one of those grabber tools. Everyone should have one of those anyway, no matter your age, height, or ability.
I like them to pinch my wife’s backside from a safe distance
We purchased the 2022 2730RL as our very first RV after doing about 2 years of research and I couldn't be more happy with it. Move the outlet to counter level. Thanks Nerd
👍🏻
A desk option in that slide out rather than the sofa would be to die for!!! That slide out is the perfect size for a workspace!!!
Could be amazing!
Way to go Winnebago ,great job Josh
Ty
I love this...nice bright interior finishes, the black-out window blinds, and an excellent floor plan. I was thinking now all they need is Azdel. Then you said it did. I would agree that an outlet next to the countertop would be great.
Glad you like it!
That’s one of the coolest floor plans I’ve seen in a while. Thanks Winni and you for showing it off.
Glad you like it!

Really is crazy, just a few hours ago I was thinking to put in a request or comment for Josh to cover this model...and here it is! 🤣🥳😎
Love seeing this. Ty
Put outlets/USB at head of and in cubby behind the upper cupboard-holder for water bottle. Plagued w dry mouth and sip all night.
We agree Josh! That’s a cool TT!
Yes, need an outlet on kitchen counter and in bed pockets.
Enclose overbed shelf.
There is so much storage in top cabinets. My husband and I can put our clothes up there.
That is awesome!

No problem 👍

another nice review. In my opinion that is a very nice unit. Great floorplan and the build quality looks spot on. And at a length that is towable and parkable almost anywhere. take care,

I dig it. I like the living room slide. I like that you can add a king bed. Kitchen is great too.
Glad you like it!
Agree with oven and plugs and over hang bed cabinets

TY For the perspective on that cabinet and the outlets. Just because I see it one way doesn't mean EVERYONE should. This is helpful!

I could see it!
I like this one. This is probably what will finally push me to replace the Winnie One TT.
Nice
This one ALMOST got me. If it had washer/dryer prep, it would have been THE one.
Ty for sharing
I agree. Put the outlet on the face of the wall. Or put the pop up outlet with usb chargers…..
👍🏻 ty
Change the outlets. Love the floorplan...Best yet!
👍🏻
Love the open shelves in the bedroom I wish they would do that over the sofa too. Definitely need the plugs in the kitchen on the hollow wall not on the underside of the cabinets. Love this model! Specifically the fridge, hidden pantry, campsite window coverage and big living!
That pantry gets me
yes outlet in the wall of the kitchen
I think the glop was some sealant that likely dribbled during the roof sealing process. It should come off there pretty easily thankfull
I love the HUGE cargo capacity!
Yeah it’s a good sign
Crazy awesome. Straight crazy awesome.
Woo!! 🙌🏻
Nice camper, wonder why they put the electronics below the water hookups in the pass through storage? Auto leveling would be nice, and yes in the bedroom I don’t want to step out of bed and get tangled in my power cords.
put a netting above the bed. would work good

Thx Mike. I generally agree
GREAT JOB ON THE OUTDOOR SPEAKERS!!!!
🙌🏻
Add recpt and water dryer hookup

I really like the storage behind the TV. Thanks
I do too!
Outlets. Option D: All of the above. Like a house, I don’t think that you can have too many. The more the better. CPAP machines, cell phones, computer or iPads, coffee pots or other appliances; so many items that need plugged in.
Fair enough
Wow! Almost 3000lb of cargo capacity in a towable? That doing it right!
Right?!
At least one may be two outlets at counter level. And definitely the larger stove. Other than that this is nice
Counter outlets would be nice

Right!!
Nice layout. Another great review Josh! Agree on the outlets. I dont care for the blue cabinets and I like the cabinet doors over the bed in previous years. Otherwise, ita pretty cool unit!
Thanks!
Love the Zelda reference. True Nerd.
😊
Josh this is crazy good but i agree the power in the bedroom yep move them up for people like me that need a CPAP machine
Yeah the smallest tweaks and this becomes a true standout

Good sign of a good rig
This is the first RL trailer I've considered
Wow!
I really love this floor plan. I’d would put a booth in the back and a jibed or loungers facing the tv. That table is very disappointing.

OMG! A builder who doesn't insist on theatre seating! I'd buy it just on that alone!
😆

Yes! I agree Josh, there should be a power outlet down close to the counter top. Also, I would take out the shelf from under the sink and have it open for a garbage can. And, I would prefer a double sink instead of a single sink, but that's just my preference. I do love this model with the hidden pantry though!!
I know! I love that pantry
Love it
I'd like to see an inverter standard from the factory, 400w of solar, and a dual fuel fridge as I'm never in a place that has hookups.
👍🏻
I see a few corners cut to save money. Like the thin mattress, cheap wall and ceiling moldings, undersized TV and can't someone come up with a better ceiling light than those puck things ? Wow, that IS a HUUUUGE fridge! I love the hidden pantry, why have everything in plain sight, cleans it up a bit, fells more homey and less RVey.
Yeah I like how stuff is easily accessible but also not in direct view
Need 2 sets of power outlets on the kitchen wall. Bigger 22 inch oven. Go to smaller 12 volt 2 door fridge then fill any extra space beside this fridge with more shelving. That's all I got.
Thanks for the tips!
Please THICKER mattresses! Standard household faucets
Win-A-Bagel. LOL
😉
Please on your videos, make it a habit to show road mode. I really love this layout.
You might notice I do. Have been for about 3-4yrs now
This thing looks like a Grand Design on the outside..
move the outlets in the bedroom to the same spot as in the mini and then move a kitchen outlet down on the wall. maybe add a set of USB's in the corner of the kitchen for a little dump/charge spot. also could use a power outlet on the passenger's side of the storage aera unless I missed it
Cool idea!
#NerdHerd 🎉 thanks for the stickers you gave out in SLC
My pleasure!
That is a 12volt fridge .
Pantry-tainment center. Call Merriam-Webster. Uncle Josh made up another word.
Wait until you see a Plosetainment Center
It would be perfect with a rear dinette. I work remote I need somewhere to work I want to work by that big rear window!
That would be cool!
Nice TT, but I’d want a dinning table. Agree with you on the elect outlet locations. Would also want cabinets above the bed with doors. Would not buy any RV with the Schwintek slide. Nice job Josh
My pleasure Bob
A great camper! I love opposing slides can't imagine going back to single slides. And finally those slides plus camp side windows and small enough to fit most places! I have always liked Winnebagos but they may be ahead of Rockwoods in style now!
Wow high praise
This is very nice!
Glad you like it!
Im not a fan of the docking stations. It takes up cargo room. I have the idea of putting all your hookups in the skirting some how.
Not a fan of this floor plan due to the crappy road mode and camp side slide that steals your awning area. We bought a 2021 Winnebago 2831RB and LOVE it!!!!
Fair enough!!
Yes,a nice color coordinated outlet would have been nice on that wall in kitchen. I'm really with ya on that power outlet! POOR Q.A. work😢
Definitely should add the outlet by the counter
👍🏻
Definitely need to have outlets on the backsplash wall
👍🏻
For every "feature" they add they seem to take away two.
Cabinets over the bed (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages)
Sliding cubby lids for the "bedside" cubbies (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages)
Drawers on each side of the bed (towards the foot of the bed like they were on the 1st run of Voyages)
Kitchen wall outlet(s)
Bedroom outlets back on the cap wall (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages)
Medicine cabinet with mirror instead of that cheap notel 6 mirror screwed to the wall (like they were on the 1st run of Voyages)
Yeah a few odd choices. I feel like most of them could be tweaked to make it happen though
I try to be fair!
The hidden storage is very deep. In a pinch, the shelves could be used as children's bunks. When they don't behave, you can lock them in their bunks and watch TV.
There are people reading this who don’t know your humor and their heads are exploding
@@JoshtheRVNerd OK, fine, I admit it: I don't actually watch TV.
I noticed the OSB under the bed. It had good plywood under the floor. What about the ceiling? OSB or plywood.
This is a crazy Awesome floor plan! ❤
Roof is OSB decking
Still walkable
Pretty decent unit, but as you pointed out, several small details such as the crooked outlet in the convenience station not to mention all the Dicor they slathered on the roof (as well as the solar panel!) makes the overall impression of the manufacturing process hurried and sloppy.
I get it. Fair conclusions based on what you see
Whether it’s accurate or not I get it
probably the best trailer I have seen in a long time
Wow! High marks!
👍🏻
pong is what was out when I was a kid
Ooh, la, la - nice! Love the campsite windows. Bathroom 👍 - great medicine cabinet placement! I don't use the oven in my camper, so the Easy-Bake is just Easy-Storage for me. The only things I would personally like different would be to swap the hide-a-bed for a jack knife sofa, and downsize the bed to a short queen. Very, very nice overall.
Edit: camp side, not campsite. Autocorrect 😡
Yeah I got it
I call it Autocorrupt
CRAZY AWESOME!
I know!!
Open with the lip but if want a latch to hold a net to secure the baskets that would hold the clothing secure.
Good call
Wow really love the floor plan .Looks roomy and clean modern . Electrical outlets need to be more convenient in bedroom .Over all very nice trailer . Thank you so much for your commentary ,you make it interesting ...
Thanks for watching!!
