  • Unfortunately I wasn't able to show the detail build of this conversion. I took out the middle seats previously and built a bed frame. The head of the frame was supported with pipes fitted with flanges. This video obviously does not show the mattress. The picnic table rests comfortably on the rear bumper steps fastened with two bolts. I drilled a hole on the corner of the table to accommodate the sun umbrella making sure to either make a hole or install a metal pipe or stake in the ground to anchor the umbrella. It works like a charm. I have gone camping with this rig many times already.

Hey Brad, thanks for the compliment. They are Black Rhino Kelso 17x9 and -18 offset. I bought them on eBay for $1,296.00

Did you take the seats out in this or did you just put a board over them? Do the seats lie completely flat by themselves?

Hey yes I took out the middle seats. Yes they do lay flat both the 3rd seat and the middle seat, but, taking out the middle seat really makes a huge difference. I have a full size mattress in there and it's flat as can be. There is plenty of storage underneath the board as well.

It can accommodate a full size mattress which is about 75" x 55"
