Many of Ashton Drake dolls look nothing like their pictures. With the amount of times they've been called out on their deceptive advertisement practices, you'd think they'd stop. That being said, I do own three and I absolutely adore them. I made sure to do my research and found actual pics and videos before purchasing. My first doll from them was little Grace and I was shocked that she looked absolutely nothing like her pics. To me she was scary looking. No offense to those who love her but that was my truth lol.

Good morning dolly family! I agree with you! I love Ashton Drake babies for the most part. I occasionally have run into the same issues with certain dolls. What helped me a lot was first watching box reviews on CZcams if they are available. Some people won't record their dolls and give a public review for others to not keep making the same mistakes over again! Thanks very much for your sincere honesty!! I hope your refund is quick because that takes a minute. But, they will no doubt refund your money. Ashton Drake really does stand by their policies better than some other collectible companies. Great choice to take a chance with!! I still love them regardless of their few short comings. I have Alexis and she is simply adorable and I love styling her curly rooted hair!! She's one of my favorites from Ashton Drake!

Just had a look in astondrake dolls looks nothing like her her legs are longer ,her face is different.someone bought on for their granddaughter said she was scared of it ,even the hair is different.I would send straight back.
No I didn’t really like her either. I resold the one that I bought. I’m not sure what it was about her maybe she’s too small or some thing. I love your videos!!
She is cute but I think she looks like a play doll to but then again it be because I love my reborns. I have seen others like her from Aston drake who do look like collectibles. I love how they root the hair now.

Hi! Hope you are doing well. Umm, I had this problem with a few of my AD dolls, they didn’t look anything like their photos. I was finally able to pin someone down on their Facebook page a few years back and pushed them a little bit in the photographs. They told me that the photos are “an artist’s representation” of the doll. I’m not sure they were supposed to say that. But make of it what you will. I still have my Emily from them and she’s lovely, wouldn’t part with her but I think it’s a good things they have a great returns policy xx

Ashton Drake uses an artist rendering of the baby. It's not a photo.

I would suggest to change the body and to give her short legs and shorter arms , I change all my dolls bodies when is for the best , about the face the color of her lips are to fake and pale , I would change that too , I do it with all my dolls too and the chicks are to pale too. Using a little bit of imagination you can use some of your make up , it is a beautiful doll but is all up to you ,it is your right .
Ah! forgot to tell you that you are very right about that some of them look different than the picture . I'll give you a good tip that will help you with that , before you buy any doll look first in CZcams for a real box opening of the same doll you want to buy , that way you can appreciate better. That looks like a cheap plastic doll. The hair is terrible. I respect the company but they need to do better on their marketing. The legs are so long, they look out of proportion. You are smart to return it.
Most of them do not look the same, I do not think I will purchase from them again.
My Sophia looks exactly like the photo in the website and so does my Cooing Chloe though the cooing is awful but that isn't why I bought her. I agree that Ruby's doll looks just that, a doll. I looked at her and decided she wasn't for me.
