Pretty sure you cannot trigger Sera on the effect of the trap (holeutea) in GY since you activate the "effect" of the trap and not the card itself Might be wrong
@@leifarsenault3142Common misconception, Evenly Matched unless negated still completely wack Traptrix board. g@@user-sj9op2fr4t For traptrix? not that much, as seen in this game by keeping Sera the player got to trigger her (because evenly is a normal trap) and summon Dionaea which let him set a trap hole by her own effect and trigger Sera again to set another trap hole, is not the best field but surviving evenly with 4 cards on field instead of 1 gives you a better chance for the next turn probably?
@@DarkLawYGOohhh that explains everything! He sucked as traptrix player... Forgot to special summon Dionaea by activation Será effect and searching for activating trap card effects that never existed...
couldn't he still have kept his 1 backrow by choosing to keep that in response to the evenly? because sera isn't affected by trap effects so she wouldn't have gotten banished
To my understanding no. It would force you to banish everything else other then Sera. Kinda along the same line if you had a token and got evenly matched.
Evenly forces the player to banish, so Sera is affected, but also you are allowed to banish Sera instead of another card under Evenly. You aren't forced to keep her like a token since you physically can banish her facedown, while a token can't be banished facedown. It's just smart to keep Sera over the rest because she can rebuild board most things in afterwards. To my understanding of reading other comments the Traptrix player just made the deck, but I feel like they had a really good chance game 2 if they didn't make just a couple misplays. Ones they can learn from. One tip I have for them or any Traptrix player, set another Holeutea off of Sera on your opponents turn if you can. It's 2 free monsters next turn for an xyz like Pinguicula or Allomerus with Sera to get another trap hole. Plus this gets another Holeutea in grave for the opponents turn with any main deck Traptrix in grave if the xyz get's popped or you used Allomerus, or just to use it any another traptrix already in grave with an ETB or quick effect, like Myrmeleo Mantis or Pudica, then Sera get's to set another trap hole. I just made the deck like 3 days ago so I don't know everything but this is some stuff I've together playing it. There's probably a ton of content creators making guides on the deck that are better than a random youtube comment.
@@DarkLawYGO True 2 Evenlys does a lot. I said a good chance, not a guarantee. I just really think the deck can do a lot better than others when Evenlyed. Since if you keep Sera you can search for any Traptrix after Evenly resolves, if that Traptrix has an ETB you can set any trap hole like Holeutea plus what ever the ETB is, like the one that can re-set a trap hole in grave. And if a Holeutea is already in grave or sent there because it was under an xyz... well I don't need to go to into it. But you get what I mean, the deck can make some great comebacks like it wasn't even hurt it's so cool. You can tell I'm excited about the deck, just the structure is great and well built.

Asked this same question to a friend of mine who is tier 1 judge, he told me it's legal
@@miguelramos6059 your friend is incorrect. There are many rulings on this already. Holetta in grave is not a trap card activating but a trap effect.

The recording table needs to be farther from the rest of locals. can't hear the players playing

Sera don't trigger to holeutea in gy. It's not an activation of a card, but an effect
Didnt know that at time of recording

What was he gonna send with raflessia as a response to evenly?
No idea, he had just made the deck like maybe 5minutes before we started
Maybe he thought about gravedigger''s trap hole because evenly was activated from the hand, but that card can only hit monster effects

no. Mirriorjade can banish from either side of the field.
