It never dawned on me either that leaving a comment actually helps so much. I was watching a CZcams video the other day with the man who is the Director of CZcams and the people who overlook the rating system there. He said that he knows the most about it, because he’s been there for so long, but even he doesn’t know exactly what the rating system is because a lot of it is generated by artificial intelligence. So really no one knows 100% what all goes into it. It’s supposed to be a very fair system, however. They said that they had to keep changing it because whatever rules they set, people would find a way to cheat. It’s like anything else, the honest people like us suffer because a handful of people like to cheat or be dishonest. Love your channel and your videos!
Pam, thank you for your insightful comment. Whenever they make a change the honest content creators get hurt. They did some sort of update at the beginning of May,and on May 4th my channel started to tank, and I mean tank. ALL of my daily numbers are negatives and my income is down 67%. Maybe they will fix it soon, but this has been a very painful couple of months. The vast majority of creators are doing everything the right way, but a handful of cheaters mess it up for everyone. Thanks for all of your support!

I am disabled, had a stroke and I am only able to use my left hand. Your projects are so easy to follow I can do them. I was a seamstress and was distraught when I was not able to sew anymore. Then I found your channel by the grace of God. Thanks so very much for your passion of paper crafting. You definitely inspire me. I started and I definitely watch all of your videos. Trying my best to have you mail me some of your papers. I am not able to print them myself. Pray someday we will be able to order by phone.

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat. I had a stroke too, and I can't use my right hand fingers very well. God has brought me through a lot of sickness and I praise Him for that. Even on the items I don't make, I love watching all of Ms. Sherry's videos. She feels like family to me. (Is that weird lol?)

Sherry you are the reason I started paper crafting! I remember how proud I was of myself, the first thing I made a a small Christmas Card & envelope it was probably 2" x 3". It was a BIG deal to me but you made it seem so simple to create. That's been nearly 4 yrs ago.

I just thought if someone commented at any time during the video, it was beneficial to you tubers. I’m not quite sure why it matters to wait until the end, but will since it does
Cheryl thanks for your comment. It actually is not beneficial because based on my analytics, people who leave the video midway(for whatever reason) do not return to watch. So watching seven minutes of a 20 minute video and leaving a comment is actually harmful to content creators. You might not be doing that, it is a common problem. CZcams is all about watch time. I wish it wasn’t but that’s our major performance metric.
