- To celebrate the Halo Championship Series’ 5th anniversary we’re looking back at one of the greatest matches in competitive Halo history. At the HCS Season 1 Finals, the surging rag-tag group of underdogs in Noble Black would go face-to-face against one of the tournament favorites CLG in the Elimination Bracket Finals. @@TheEMEF Not really. Almost all the pros who were playing back then are still competing along with newer pros. It's entertaining as hell. If you need tens of thousands of people watching with you to validate your entertainment then I don't know what to tell you. I don't give a shit if only 5 people are watching. It's still Halo and it's entertaining.

@@method1692 It does with plenty of people. What's stopping you and your friends from watching? I've been watching H3 tournaments all year and it's been nostalgic as hell. The problem is people only want to care about something if it's trendy and popular because they need others to validate what they find entertaining.

Just have to ride out this last year before infinite. Hopefully Microsoft never makes us wait this long ever again. They need to start cultivating hype for infinite with some beta dates and gameplay.
Waiting is totally fine, it's painful for the moment and sometimes it can feel not worth thr weight, but nothing is worse than a halo 5 where they blow their load early and then we're left waiting so we speculate for years and then when we actually get it and they had shifted development it not only didn't resemble what we had thought up for 2 years but couldn't possibly have. I am very glad they're showing so little. I was super pissed to not get gameplay at that last e3 but now I'm glad we didn't because obviously they aren't ready to announce beta dates or anything, so if they had we would have had to wait more than a year since they'll likely announce those atleast at next e3 after a gameplay reveal. Having a minute if gameplay to watch for a year could rot our perception of it. Showing it and then having a beta and then having a release all in an 8 month timespan eliminates detrimental hype and the building of idealized expectations

343 has done countless things wrong, that have hurt Halo and its community. The biggest in my opinion is not making H2A a full game. It was light years more fun to play over Halo 5. And this series is better than any Halo 5 tournament.

I love watching halo but it seems like promotion and advertising of the actual events and teams are a joke. Im always missing stuff. Why dont they announce things on more social media and integrate brands for more interesting events. Instead you have all of 80 comments on the HALO CZcams channel. How do they not see the utter failure to get this amazing Esports into more peoples screens. I never seem to know these events exist until afterwards.... Awesome video. Id pay money to have watched it live.
