Beef Shack - Cheesy beef on garlic bread! You have to try that!
hell yeah!
Monday 7am
Cheese, for sure. Grilled onions, grilled peppers, grilled mushrooms, and giardinara. â€ïžâ€ïž
:)
BEEN 5 YEARSSINCE I HAD ONE OF THESE.....GOTTA GET BACK THIS SUMMER
the time has come!
@@CoreyWagnerChicago it has
I think horseradish on an Italian beef would be delicious
I bet that would be fire!
Phillys best and eastern style also have cheesy beef on garlic bread. Delish
hell yeah!
johnnies with no cheese is heavenly
olives in giardineria is a must
dare I say it's the best!
agree
I always put mozzarella cheese in Mayo on mine
I always get either mozzarella or provolone when I order an Italian Beef! You can order it that way pretty much anywhere
Okay, I challenge you to try the Arby's Beef 'N Cheddar add diced jalepeno
we'll have to do that one of these days!
I want dry bread lots of cheese and a au ju or a good Dippin sauce
hell yeah!
I'm adding grilled mushrooms :-)
money move!
Love the video and thanks for the review!
Thanks for making such an incredible sandwich!! Feel free the share the video online too!! đ§Ąđ€đ§Ąđ€
That is amazing video
thanks!
italian beef with provolone brocolli rabe and roasted red peppers
now that sounds delicious!
Let your friend in Denver know that there's a Buona that just opened up! Went to it yesterday... it's across from Coors field in McGregor Square!
He was SO excited when he found out it was opening! I should have mentioned it!
Man, I would jalapeños and raw onions (thin slice).
Thatâs a fantastic addition right there
Beef and cheese just go together. Couple it with the spicy/salty giardinera and the toasty soft bread and itâd be easy to want to eat one of those everyday. Great review, now I want an Italian beef!
they sure do!
Sandwiches looked really good great video guys
Solid cheesy beefs in this one đ„đ€đ»
I second the Beef Shack! Cheesy beef on garlic dipped! Hand cut fries and cheese on the side!!
sounds amazing!
Hey everyone be sure to give these guys a like
Youâre the best dude
also every beef place has the âoriginalâ italian beef
right!
As Nick commented, melted mozz is definitely an Italian beef thing. That's what I get at Portillo's along with the hot giardiniera. Also, olives appear in giardiniera from time to time. Jars of Ditka's giardiniera from Jewels have them. Have you guys tried Al's?
we have indeed!
I love when the olives show up in giardiniera (still one of the hardest words to spell for me lol), especially green olive!
Sweet, hot, & baptized.
đ
:)
Buona beef burgers are amazing too, but hell yea cheese fry cheese on a beef is a must ! been doing it for years
it's definitely the move!
The Italian beef in todays youtube review video looked bomb with all the beef that was jamed into the sandwich very well done content
hell yeah!
No no no
Beef dipped hot and sweet on the side
Only way
strong opinions and I love it!
You all have to try a GymShoe on Roosevelt and Homan. Star Gyros
It's def on our list!
I live about 50 miles away from Philly. And out here most places add tomato sauce to a cheesesteak (unless you specifically ask them to leave it off). Was curious what you guys (and other folks) thought about that?
that's kind of cool! I've never tried it but I want to now!
I always get red sauce on my cheesesteak. Grew up eating it that way visiting my grandparents in Denver, PA
Does their giardiniera really have olives in it? I would love to try that sandwich but am bummed Iâd have to get it w/out the giardiniera. I just canât do olives.
I does!
Al's in Franklin Park used to put crushed up green olives in their giardinera. I loved it.
That looked amazing. I donât think Iâve ever had an Italian beef so Iâm not sure what I would add
I love you guys but cheese on the Italian beef has always been a thing.... It's just depends on where you go. Regardless a big fan of the show and hope to chow down with y'all one day
yeah we blew on that one!
I had one of these the other day and thought it was great! (So is the "pizza style" beef with marinara, which I've been getting since before it was a "real" menu item.) I am semi-addicted to Buona's chopped salad so getting me to get anything else there is a big deal - luckily I live super close to one.
FWIW pretty much any place will put cheese on your beef! Just not pub cheese, usually either mozz or provolone. I'm not sure if Johnnie's would though, they might consider that an affront to their craft đ
johnnie's keeps it old school!
Yeah I disagree 1000%, I absolutely detest cheese on my Italian beef. Me personally Italian beefs are highly overrated, but the one's from JJs fish and chicken are pretty good... Even without the cheese.
I'm with ya, most of them are overrated
Really ! U must be from Milwaukee. Did't know JJ's had them. Will have to try one. Thanks for the heads up. đ
@@tamathawalden2037 Nah, Born and raised on the West side of Chicago.
Who would go to JJ,s fish for an Italian beef đ€
@@MrThaTop1 I mean they have good Italian beefs... Soooooo
Love my jalapenos
so good!
Soooo is that thing tipping on a carryout order? Wiscanny guy here.
wait, what's the question?
@@CoreyWagnerChicago Tipping on a carryout order. I forgot to put the "a" in lol sorry.
@@mikeaaronc77 hahah ahhh I see! No I don't think it's a thing. We started doing it to help local spots during covid though :)
@@CoreyWagnerChicago Awesome! Love your videos btw they make me jealous because there are basically no food joints like you have anywhere near me.
@@mikeaaronc77 thanks man! Well until they start building some great food spots near you we'll keep cranking these out for ya!
Funny that at end of the video Sean mentions Mr Beef⊠Carl Buonavolanto was the proprietor of Mr Beef on Orleans. His brother Joe is the one who started Buona Beef
I get one with marinara there all the time. Itâs so damn good. Also you guys missed out: they used to do in house Parm chips that were the shit. They stopped them a few years ago
brotherly love!
That'd be tempting on a drunk night or stoney evening lol
it's a must get while high!
I've never been to Chicago but have had 2 Italian Beefs from places in Florida. Cheese ruins them. #NoCheeseOnBeefs
that's awesome!
FACTS !!! đđđ
Thatâs not a real Italian beef the original 1 is in Chicago
@@Baja2424 no shit, millennial. The two places I go in Florida are owned by transplanted Chicagoans.
Dayum those look awesome! Wish we had something anywhere near Toledo that I could get something similar. And now for what I would add to an Italian beef to make it taste better.......A1 sauce! I just love the taste.
yeah not really anything like it in toledo
All u taste is the sauce
Do y'all remember a beef joint in the suburbs called Zippy's? I think they're closed now but they used to have a cheesy beef on garlic bread with melted provolone and it was BANGIN!
YES!! I thought it was actually mozarella, but anyways I used to go the one on Roselle rd. In Hoffman Estates!
Yeah itâs mozzarella
Itâs a zippys in Hawaii
Yâall bullshitting, Iâm send yâall to the hood. Cheese on Italian beef is very regular
haha hell yeah!
Beef in the Hood đ„
Where ?
This is a weird one but Iâd like some diced up red skin potatoes that have been sitting in the juice on that sandwich. Give it some pot roast vibes. #fatkid #likethevideo
as a potato love that sounds amazing to me!
How do you guys stay so skinny eating all this stuff!!!! Love the show!!
a LOT of running!
From WHO ? Ur FANS ? BRAaaaaaH đđđ
Naturally Cheese and Bacon is the move! Sixer sauce also I feel would be solid. As a midwestern gentleman I would say I would try some ranch? đ€·đ»ââïž Might be alright?
such a no brainer right!
Every Single time đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
đđđ
ONLY things Chi-Town is any good for 3 ) Italian Beef sammys 2 ) Chicago Dogs 1) Using the land to get to Wisconsin đŁđŁđŁ
You think Chicago-style hot dogs are one of the city's THREE BEST THINGS?! Lmaooooooo
Have these two never had the beef and cheddar croissant at Portillo's? Been on the menu for at least 25 years. Wake up
I love how much food culture enrages people to their core. This industry is a BLAST and a half.
@@numbersixwithcheese not "enraged". Just the concept of putting cheese on Italian beef is nothing new. I'm glad you're finally discovering it and sharing with your viewers though đ
Its not a cheese steak.
No way. No cheese on a beef ever.
you're missing out
I'm Gary the Amazon driver. Talk your crap now.
hahahah
I would put Garlic Aioli on it to get some creamy flavor on there.
Thatâs genius
Absolute yuck
Now I want one and no where close to me sells em. Booooo
time for a trip to chicago!
Chicago native here. Cheese on an Italian beef is terrible. It mutes all the other flavors until I can't taste the beef, or the spicy giardiniera. It's terrible. It's a mess. Go back to Philadelphia for a cheese steak.
I agree that I think it's better without cheese. They do it pretty good at buna beef but all in all I agree with you.
Everyone in Chicago puts mozzarella on beef
daamn, we've been missing out!
đđđđđđđđđđđđđ
You guy's are way late because Chicagoans have been eating cheese on our Italian beef, we call it Cheesy Beef. C'mon fellas gotta know this already since you're now Windy City fam!đ€·đŸââïž
Rule number one⊠Never cover up the taste of good meat with cheese or hot sauce
I wouldnât call the steak used in Italian beefs ââgood meatââ đ
@@numbersixwithcheese ouch! better than I can afford =8-/
