- The NSTLKIA channel is back! I apologize for my hiatus from CZcams but I am now back!
In this week's video I take a look at the history of The Schuylkill Mall, in Frackville Pennsylvania. The Schuylkill Mall was a famous mega-mall that served blue collar and middle class patrons for decades. It got especially popular after its opening in 1980 until the latter 90's, when it began to take big hits in its popularity. This manifested until the latter 2010's, when it would meet its unfortunate end.

used to go to this mall for the annual Lithuania Festival in the summer. It had to get moved to a much smaller church nearby after the mall closed
I grew up and worked it that mall. I was so sad when it closed.
Oh wow. How was the experience at the mall when it closed, because to my knowledge it was really popular at its founding.
Awesome video 👏🤩
Thank you!
A recommendation for a future video about a dead mall
The Machesney Park Mall in Rockford Illinois
Great video, subbed! Would love to see you do a video on Century 3 mall.
Thank you, I'm glad for the support! I'll definitely do my next mall video on it.
Not sure whose idea was to put KILL in the name of a family shopping center xD. Good video keep up the good documentary work
Lmao literally 😂
It absolutely did not kill off the Fairlane Village Mall.
If anything the Fairlane Mall had more traffic and customers.
Where was the original Sears located? What town?
That mall could of been saved and would of been good cause of gas prices going up. We could of gotten better stores in it so we could get different things in one location. Now there’s a big grey building there that no one is using.,...Ripping down the mall was totally stupid and pointless....I grew up going there and got so many good memories. I miss it, especially when Christmas comes around.
The mall was a dive
That mall was dead from the start, it's layout was awful. To far to walk between all the anchor stores due to it's cross ❌ shaped pattern.
Should of been a two story mall in the shape of an L
What will it take for Joe Biden to bring Schuykill back and "Build. Back. Better."
