@@themodernmechanic428my daughter's 2020 Tucson value was backed into and cracked the RH blind spot module. My dealer wants $3300 to replace and calibrate it. Nothing else just the module! I asked if I was able to replace it with a used one and was told, no, it wouldn't work and had to be a new one. Do you know if the 2020 and newer models require a new one that has anything to do with the VIN number or are they replaced and calibrated the same way? I know I'll need to fine someone with an Altel MS606 or MS608 to do the calibration. Thank you for your time.

I replaced the whole panoramic sunroof assembly because it was broken (front windshield too) but after person Replaced it (SUNROOF ONLY), I had all these sensors turned on (right after used one was installed) CHECK ENGINE, AIR BAGS, LANE DEPARTURE, THE EXCLAMATION POINT ONE INSIDE A TRIANGLE, ABS, EPB, STEERING WITH EXCLAMATION POINT, PRE COLLISION, (CHECK SMART CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM). Also, I have no back up camera or any camera working , nor speedometer or odometer, gas gauge or temp gauge working or blinker displayed when I put it on. Also no dome lights or mirror lights working. All this happened as soon as the guy was done with the sunroof replacement, Keep in mind the original front windshield was still on because it was going to be replaced the following day by someone else. Also, when it was broken, NO LIGHTS WERE ON AT ALL. So now the sunroof guy is blaming the Calibration on the front windshield but AGAIN, They all turned on when he replaced the sunroof (plus he couldnt get it to work and started pulling out fuses by steering). IDK What to do! He keeps saying the sunroof had nothing to do with the lights coming on...WILL RECALIBRATING IT TAKE CARE OF ALL THIS???
    PLEASE HELP!

However some modules are vehicle specific and already come preloaded with the variant code as was this module however it is good practice to verify that the variant code is correct which can be done by going Into the module’s info.
