We grouped a couple of these walks from this area on our last trip. I think in the morning it’s okay but at night take rideshare back. My dad likes to stay back in this area and he says the walk isn’t too bad . -Jim

Yes, you stayed at one of the furthest away. We are shocked you walked that but at the end of the day you still had great time. We have no problem walking this distance in the morning but we would take transportation back at night. Thank you!!
When I saw the duration I thought that it would be too long but considering half of it is walking through Downtown Disney would make it easier. But definitely get a taxi back to the hotel 👍
Double check and confirm the address of the Springhill you are staying at. This Springhill Suites Maingate is located at 1160 W Ball Rd, and there is another Springhill Suites (Convention Center) located on S. Harbor which is much closer. If you are staying at the Ball Rd location, we suggest taking ART or ride share if you do not want to walk this distance everyday. Ride share will probably cost you around $20 round trip per day. ART starts off at $6 per day per person but sell discounted multiday tickets. There is an ART bus stop located right in front of the Springhill Suites Maingate. I thought that the whole purpose of staying at a hotel that was near downtown Disney was so that you could board the monorail and they takes you straight into Tomorrowland?
We have been asked by viewers to show a walk to the park. Taking the monorail is always an option when it is operational. For example, currently the monorail is down for refurbishment with no opening date announced. Additionally, the monorail will shutdown in the afternoon on hot days due to the lack of air conditioning. Finally, the monorail doesn’t always open at rope drop. So if your goal is to get to space mountain first; you are better off going through the main gates.
yeah - that is a bit of a hike. Can't imagine doing that after a day at the parks. But thank you for doing this!

I wish I saw this 2 mos ago when I booked our trip. They advertised it as being next door. Too late to change hotels we go next week 😭
