  • Many cars require dealer programming to match the tire pressure monitor sensors when changing over to winter tires, but on the NG9-5 it's actually a built in setting to save time. The process only take a few minutes! This works on the next generation 9-5, 2010-2012.

    basically understand one is teaching the cars tire pressure monitoring system the Id information of each TPMS wheel sensor and its position on the car ,, so that its sees "4" working sensors present and knows what position each of them is at.. LF--RF-RR-LR , it must see communication from all 4 present or it will give you an error message it reads all 4 and looks for the one that is seeing a lowering pressure it then 'Learns its sensor ID and position and saves it .., important point make sure you move any other wheels that equipped with TPMS sensors some distance away from the car when dong the learning process,, though it should only recognize the sensors that change value as being one of the 4 mounted on the car itself.

    How to get rid of AHL error messeges? Like headlights in my saab 9-5 Aero NG swivel just fine. Its just a sensor i I belive. Same for lane keep assist. It works fine but sometimes it gives service lane keep error

    Do we have to take some pressure out so it moves to the next tire? I tried to wait without touchning the pressure but it's not going to the next one

    Do you need to empty all tires of air before you start? Just confused why you need something that can let out air.

      MrAkurvaeletbe the system senses what tire is reducing pressure and assigns it a position in the computer, so left front is left front etc. Start with full pressure, and reduce pressure on the corner it asks for to calibrate the computer.

    Would this process be the same for the 9-3? ('09 2.0 XWD)

      @Eeuroparts  Před 6 lety

      No, you will have to have to use a techII scan tool.

      eEuroparts.com do you have to use MDI reader to clear the break service light once calibration is complete ? I noticed you’re stayed on as well. Or does it clear after next start up ?

    What kind of tpms sensors fit and work on this car? Also, at what frequency?

      They are 315 mhz, but I did want to find out which ones he's using...?
