Gary wasn't just an amazing guitar player, but a great vocalist too, how on earth he managed to combine the two is anyone's guess, he had so much energy...a lot of artists today need to take note.
a GOD
His singing is awful on this song.
to think he was just getting started.....one of the best guitarist of our time...RIP Gary
I don't get what u mean lol he played for 40 years
Heard him at a outdoor concert in the 80s it was def Leppard, krokus, and him opening. He singhandedly ripped the place apart. He made the other guitarists look like children. Nobody knew about him except me. Underrated for certain!
I saw Gary open for Rush in Chicago on the Victims of the future tour in 1984. I had never heard of him before this night, and walked away being a fan for life! Got to see him in a small club in Chicago a few years later on the Wild frontier tour. Just an outstanding guitarist, and a guitar hero forever.
Victims of the Future: An excellent album! Great song!
Saw Gary Moore at the Texxas Jamz in Houston at the Astrodome.. Victims of the Future . Bryan Adams, 38. Special , Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne and Rush..
This solo is one of best ever by anyone. Just love it.
This is my favorite song that Gary does...The world has lost the greatist guitarist of our time! He will truly be missed!!!
same.His Best Shot!
The great Ian Paice from Deep Purple on drums as well, this was only a few months before Deep Purple reunited for 'Perfect Strangers' I think.
What a talent...this is an incredible album. Miss ya Gary Moore...
One of the first songs I heard from Gary.... awesome...
Saw him on this tour in Cleveland when he opened for Rush....fucking AMAZING!!!!
That would have been awesome to see opening for Rush!!!
Damn lucky you - awesome 👍
One of the greatest guitarist that ever lived superb technician on the fretboard gary Moore a true legend
Long live Gary...God bless ya brother
When we discuss best guitarists in the world, sadly Gary Moore rarely gets a mention. How about he was one the most phenomenal guitarists in the world ever. Incredible solos and technically brilliant. One of the very best. And could do it live which is also the test. He was also one of the most fantastic vocalists ever and song writers. An incredible combination. So please next time we discuss best guitarists ever put Gary Moore very much in the top of the list. An incredibly talented person..
I saw him in Karlesruhe Germany in 1984. It was so cool seeing Ian Paice in drums
One of the greatest songs ever written.
Gary Moore kicking some ass rest in peace
I saw this tour. . They opened up for RUSH. It was awesome!!!
Yes! Grace Under Pressure tour. Saw them in Rosemont (outside Chicago). Fairly certain I have permanent hearing loss from their 60 min. set.
@@cdfree3 WoW!!
For you, Allan "Merlin" (RIP 2019), Souvenirs Cover from our Band BACKSTAGE 1986, I miss you...
The way he and Neil's voices complimented each other was brilliant to hear. Come back to listen over and again.
A classic song!!!! God bless Gary Moore!!!!
Fookin great!!!!!!! I live for this style of hard rock.
Very interesting to see Craig Gruber on bass from the first Rainbow album and of course Ian Paice on drums. Purple-Rainbow family. And its 1984 when Paice left for Perfect Strangers
Craig Gruber was really great on the first Rainbow album ! Ian Paice is a true legend of course !
Ohh the singing is difficult even for Gary himself ! It's so high! Thanks for posting, it's a reat song and what a solo!!!
The first Gary Moore song that I ever heard. What an amazing guitar sound, unmatched to this day.
Rest In Peace Gary Moore!
I got the victims of the Future album in 1985 and this was the best song
Hot damn Gary plays his ass off!!!....RIP legend
Music of my Youth. Brings me good Memories back. Thanx for sharing !!!
Sucks to hear that Gary died on February 6th. I only saw him once in concert and I wish I had seen him more in concert. What a guitarist. He will be missed. Only hope he didn't overdose on drugs.
Solo is Classic Gary
Saw Gary on this tour @ the Monsters of Rock in Nurnberg Germany. He was brillant, blew Angus Young and Eddie Van Halen off the stage.
No way
Seen Gary in '84 for the "Victims" tour! Awesome!!!!!
Have you seen Gary's interpretation of "The Messiah Will Return Again?" He intertwines blues, jazz, classical, and rock to make the piece his own. Beyond amazing! As far as being able to carry a song all by himself, he's out there in another universe. I have to give it to Jeff Beck for innovative, unreal sounds that still harmonize with the core melody. Moore is number one across the board, however! No question!
'The Messiah..' From Montreux 1990 maybe is The greatest guitar live performance of The whole music History
That track ( The Messiah will Come Again) as performed by Gary happens to be an absolute masterpiece...The late Roy Buchanan may have written the original but Gary's interpretation and performance transcends anything of a Worldly nature and lays more in a Spiritual realm than I believe anyone else could ever hope to perform and attain this side of Paradise itself .
@@markdavis3509 Perfectly stated, Mark. It couldn't be put any better, and what makes it perfect, other than how you stated it, is that it is absolutely true. Certainly, our man is in Paradise, where we ourselves shall soon see him. If anybody is playing for the Lord other than David, it's Gary. Imagine Elvis and Janis singing with Gary playing! Thank you much for the comment!
Rest in peace old friend. We always gonna love you, Gary...
One of the best live shows I ever saw, and just look, no smart phones, crowds close to the stage instead of the huge gap between the artist and the fans, I know I’m old, but at least I got to see the best bands!!!!!!!
I had a live album of gary moore, used to listen it and be in trance
i was at this concert an he was superb R I P and thanks for the music
All this on a Gibson junior! they have a neck as thick as a plank. No trouble for the master though. RIP GARY +Craig. (bass) 🌹 💕 🎸

Great one !
Vamos Gary!!!!
I don't know how many people know that we were minutes from nuclear war, maybe even closer than the Cuban missile crises. The US was running nuclear simulations on computer, and the Soviets thought the war had begun. Some Russian was really smart and figured out it was a simulation, and didn't respond.
Oh....those were the days.... :)
A classic!!!!
ohhh cara.... tanta gente boa de morrer e logo ele.. RIP
R.I.P. XOXO
Merci Gary ta voix vieillit mais ton prestige reste; ton solo est géant tu as la classe
Eric Idle on rhythm guitar!

WHEN HE SOLO'S HE GOE'S INTO 'BEAST' MODE! I'M SURE PETER GREEN'S LES PAUL HAS NEVER FELT SO MUCH RAGE AND FURY! THAT IS SOME INTENSE PLAYING, TRULY EPIC! NUFF SED! GOTA STOP SMOKING DS SHIT I GET CARRIED AWAY!
2patero - that is NOT the Gibson Les Paul formerly owned by Peter Green. Nevertheless, I agree his intensity, rage and fury IS epic! BEAST mode, yeah, that's for sure!
appropriate song...for whats going on in the world today!
Craig Gruber Bass 6/15/51----5/5/15
Even better version of this song on."Emerald Aisles"(1985)
Gary is great . I hope they kept the souvenier sweat and saliva .

RIP
...baterista original en el disco... Ihan Pice de Deep Purple y manager... Sharon Osborne... la esposa de Ozzy... RR.
Lady ga ga and others like her, this is how you put on a show, none of this standing on pianos and all that bull, it's all about the music!
Great stuff from the master of the rock guitar. ..... Should have kept John Sloman on vocals though.
Ian Peace on drum
Don't Rest in Peace Gary,- rock the fuck outta Heavan 2gether with Phil bro...
this was gary at his nuclear best
Is that Barry Manilow (2:40) on rhythm guitar? LOL
No. Its the Awesome Neil Carter! A fantastic musican,he can play everything. Guitars,synths,keyboards,sax..you name it !! Check out his work with UFO also. Blody awesome
Love this guy - one of my favourites and my main influence as a guitarist but he can’t sing though lets be honest!
Shit singer for sure!
Not bad. Not good either.
He's one of the truly great. And his act would have been among the very greatest if only he had hired someone who could sing for real.
lol lol,definately Barry Manilow
Пейс на ударных
667th like, sorry....
Victims of future means victim of justin bieber. Gary forecasted a danger to the music world called justin bieber is waiting in the future
Love his playing but his vocals on this are painful. Neil Carter on rhythm guitar/keys and backing vocals had the better voice.
