I strongly agree about the idea of having a mechanism in place to accommodate for accountability with large government funds spent in a particular province. Reports need to show what exactly that money does and how is it benefiting the nation as a whole. MPs must not fund projects for the sake of funding, we must carry out projects that serve a purpose that will benefit the people and as the people grow, that nation grows with it in wealth and knowledge.

The onus has always been for members to table issues out in a well articulated manner for critiquing. Its not the first I heard a member speak candidly, in fact its been awhile. I only hope that the good governors words are taken seriously until the end of 2022 general elections.
