katana making: double habaki making

The whole process of making a two-piece habaki. I am not a koshiraeshi or habakishi specialist. Just a bladesmith. So making habaki and koshirae is at a better hobby level. But I can show the whole procedure, including the details. Two-piece habaki for large hira zukuri wakizashi.

I came for the hibachi. I stayed for the PUPPIES! They are adorable, but I am only joking. Thank you for the great, in-depth video of your process. I am about to try to make my first hibachi in the next few weeks. If I may ask, how thick was your starting material? I'm wondering ow this would look with two different metals, like copper and brass.

k ničemu. Je to jen v podstatě zdobená a luxusnější součástka, ukázka řemeslné dovednosti. Funkci to nijak nemění ani nevylepšuje.
