- Our new solar system is in place and works. Tonight we are using solar energy that was harvested from our roof and stored in three batteries during the day. Today the last six solar panels were installed. Then the 36 solar panels on our roof were properly wired, the whole system connected and tested. It works.
Loved the use of the elevator, every solar company should use these. It would save time and also great for the solar workers health & safety.

What are the lessons you learned during your project, and what recommendations do you have for us? There are multiple vendors in Pattaya, yet you picked a Bangkok one. What are your reasons please?
Quite informative! I am strongly considering an investment in a ~6 kW on-grid [hybrid - some batteries] system. I'd like to go fully off-grid but the costs [for batteries] are quite expensive; regardless of the projected savings. I also think 700,000 baht is quite expensive for an on-grid system.

I am currently installing a 5kW grid-tie system myself with only high quality components for only about 110,000 THB (including the tools i need for the installation except the drill machine). This price is without the battery of course. But as you can see, it's not the system that cost the most. It's the installation fee. I am not doing this professionally. I just needed to reduce the electricity bill and fortunately I know enough about electricity to get it done myself after a few days of research.

Hans thanks for sharing your insights. Clearly a Swiss quality installation delivered by Rolf's team. I am curious: What was the monthly power bill for the house before installation and what is the monthly bill from PEA now that the solar panels have been installed?
Before maybe 10000 Baht, after about 3000 Baht.

bzw. welche Garantiezeit vom Boss dieser Profitruppe zugesichert wird.
Genau, jetzt schauen wir erstmal, wie die ganze Anlage sich im Alltag bewährt, ich werde gelegentlich berichten.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu deiner Solaranlage . Die Stromkosten liegen bei mir momentan bei 5000 Baht wobei ich permanent darauf achte das überflüssig Stromquellen ausgeschaltet werden.
Wie zufrieden bist du mit deiner Anlage ? Würdest du etwas nach deiner Erfahrung ändern ?
Leider bin ich ein absoluter Laie was Solaranlagen betrifft, die Investitionen ist enorm ,meine Sorge ist wenn es nicht funktioniert übernehmen die Thais die Gewährleistung?
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Anlage.

Dann lohnt es sich Ich so 1500 Baht pro Monat Grüssen aus Udon

und diese konventionellen ladungs-controller killt die batterien sicher.. TIPP: nutzt einen RE-EMF Charger

We do not send energy to the grid and therefore need no permit.,

The whole system did cost me about 700000 Baht and I save at least 7000 Baht per month.

Just another farang ripping of another he paid an absolute fortune for the installation

Yes, about until midnight or 1 am, then the system switches automatically to grid.
