    Thanks to you, I've highlighted a few new techniques for myself. I hope in the future you will share the process of working with characters that have a lot of different details (different types of ropes / wicker baskets / hardsurface / scales, etc.)
    In any case, thank you very much)

    Hello! Does your clothing meshes have thickness or are they just without it and you sculpted the details with subdivision levels? I'm little bit confused on if video game characters can have thickness in the clothes for clothing to work with the rig with skinning and simulations. Thanks so much of you have the time to respond! :)

    • @Gaarajapanime
      @Gaarajapanime  Před 4 měsíci

      Hey! sorry been a bit busy with work! well places where your cloth gonna be seen you can apply thickness. here it depends on how the game gonna be using thickness to their mesh or just using 2 sided material. for me I put thickness on part that gonna be seen and try to avoid unused géo but as I tolld you it depends. if you need more info contact me on artstation maybe I can show you more exemple. www.artstation.com/gaarajapanime. Have a nice day and take care : )

    Thanks amazing breakdown ; just 1question I didn't see you retopoand bake the clothes/ accessoires did you just use the high poly or low subdivision from zbrush?

    • @Gaarajapanime
      @Gaarajapanime  Před rokem +1

      Thank you! for retopo just for the video to not become boring so I put the essential. For bake no it was the retopo stuff as low; in 53:36 I mentioned it. you can check the wireframe in my artstation. let me know if you need anything else ^^

    how did you do the clothing so efficiently? i struggle to do that in zbrush

    • @Gaarajapanime
      @Gaarajapanime  Před rokem +2

      For the shirt I extracted it from the body with 0 thickness so I can have more control. I zremeshed that and adjusted with the move brush. after having a decent base I divided and added folds. I usually do that for cloth. Try to lock a decent base without going to details to fast it will help you. Hope this helps you and have a nice day :)

    Please is it zremesher or Subdivide you are using?

    • @Gaarajapanime
      @Gaarajapanime  Před rokem

      When I sculpt I use zremesher sometimes while doing the blocking phase or when I want a more clean piece to help me for the highpoly so I can add subdive. Hope this is what you meant :)
