Chilton was the only other character to pick up on the cannibal jokes. In Season 2 after both Will and Gideon say Hannibal is the Chesapeake Ripper Chilton realises the truth and when he's trying to convince Jack he says "Hannibal once served me tongue and then made a joke about eating mine. It would be narrow to not at least consider it."

Hannibal, at first glance, is a psychological thriller about this poor guy being manipulated by a genius psychopath, with beautiful cinematography and religious symbolism. But this thing is also a rom-com and the two genres go so well together

This show is just a dark rom-com.

In one of my class (about what is god and religion (the concept that’s philo)), we saw that some cannibals actually do it to « save nature ». @@guccigirl2389 There's been a petition gor season 4 and even the shows creator plus other staff voted on it, basically its not just fans who want the show back but it's creators. The issue I believe is either funding or getting a studio to pick it up.
