    You should cover the topic on marrying the wrong person. Because it does happen, marrying someone who is not compatible can be a disaster. And there is hope and you can find someone who is on your level of deen and be on that path together.

    thank you so much to both you brothers for making this i really needed to hear this today may allah reward both of you. just a little advice i felt that sometimes when jibril was speaking about something important and i wanted him to finish what was saying brother faisal would quickly change the subject. i think the guest should be allowed to finish what they saying before moving on because most of the time it would just be to mention a funny statement which is good but then keep in mind what the guest were discussing so that they can carry on where they left off
    again jazakallah for these podcasts

    Honestly have to disagree with the point about women not being able to take criticism. I think that has to depends how the criticism is given and how the person is.

    • @Sumi2379
      @Sumi2379 Před 5 lety +15

      Be Cool that’s a reach smh. To say a whole gender doesn’t know how to take criticism is wrong & is a rlly bad generalization. *It varies based on the character/personality of the individual.* I know plenty of women who will hear u out if u have an issue with them & I know plenty of guys who have trouble admitting when they’re in the wrong🤷🏾‍♀️

    • @lilmona1998
      @lilmona1998 Před 4 lety +1

      I hear you but I have to disagree, it’s a very common trait amounts women to struggle at taking direct criticism, men tend to be a whole more receptive to direct criticism. This is on a general scale so when he spoke I believe he was implying the general population KB

    • @allyblogs3858
      @allyblogs3858 Před 4 lety +1

      I agree with you. I was with him the whole time thinking how amazing it is that he has such a great group of friends (companions) that always help each other out and I kept comparing it to my group of friends and could absolutely relate until he said that that’s the difference between males and females. I have been friends with my group of friends for almost 9 years now and I can happily say that we have what he described in terms of taking criticism. So no it’s not a male thing.

    That Yusha Evans talk, he was describing Yawn al-Mazeed (the day of increase). Sh. Salih al-Taalib gave a khutbah at Masjid al-Haram about it a few years ago. He was also very emotional, and I'm sure it's on CZcams (w/ eng trans) for anyone who would like to hear it.
    Edit: just finished listening and by far one of the best episodes.
