Feeding into the Fry/Laurie fanfic much, Hugh? XD This is a lovely interview. I love hearing the gents talk about each other. They're both so charming and adorable.
Well, with reference to the accent thing, when he's in America, he does the accent just so American people won't give him weird looks(even when he's talking to a Brit like Fry). In interviews, etc, I'm pretty sure that he does his normal accent. Just... in defense of Hugh. But I'm sure I don't know....
Hmm he said in an interview that he keeps his us accent beacause it is easier, but as soon as the work day is over, he is all british again. what I heard is that he don't get many offers from Britain since he started House, but who knows. I loved Hugh Laurie since I watched Blackadder for the first time many years ago and I don't think he has changed and if...who can blame him, I mean everyone changes
I am American and follow British TV for years.....Public TV was our only source till cable but I kept up with Monty Python and saw Benny Hill and more....so I knew of Atkins, Laurie, and Frys many decades already..... I wonder how many in the UK knew the American comics......Red Skelton for example, just who was funny in the UK ... know humor doesn't always translate well but with Britain I have no problems tho at first the slang is hard to understand....
I've been looking for THIS (being Ross and Laurie) since the first time I saw a show of Jonathan Ross. Wouldn't it be great to have Hugh Laurie in Friday Night?.. oh I wish.. He doesn't do interviews when he's in the UK, though, does he?
ABoF&L and J&W definitely did go on at the same time for a little while - in fact I think it may have been for J&W's entire run, because F&L went on from 1989 to 1995, and J&W was from 1990 to 1993. Kind of makes me admire/love them more!
oh come on, what's so wrong with moving forward? fry and laurie are, among with the pythons, my favourite comedians, but it was finished in nineties and since then hugh hasn't really had THE chance to show his great acting. he turned his background characters into the real treat to watch, but what he's done in house md is too great for calling it just "turning his back on britain and his real fans".
I love Hugh's little quirks. He's always scratching his ear or messing with his hair or licking his lips. He's very enjoyable to watch. =)
Said by someone 9 years ago, yet still true as anything!
Hugh is so cute, I love him! "And then they'll have no jobs hahahaha." He's so funny.
He is my guilty pleasure crush. Had to get that out..... And so is blackadder
Same
he's so adorable! and hilarious! I love this man!
He's sooooo lovely and funny! Love this man!! "And then they'll have no jobs" LOL!!

I love his laugh at the end
how young he was... and cute!!!
Love his series, great actor!!!
He looks like a Baby ❤❤
This really bizarre! Just seeing them both so young!
Wossy always asks the best questions - alway gives Hugh and Stephen the chance to talk "romantically" about one another =D
love the purple socks
Apparently it was aired 10 days before "Gasping" opened. That would make it 1990.
They're both so young!! Tee heheheheee - so cute!
6:23 - 6:32 is so Hugh 😂 Love him ❤
Ohhhhhh yes. Check out A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, Alfresco... He's been mainstream in England for 20 years or more.

serellie: WORD!!! (x 100000)
I'm trying to find the terry woman episode when he interviewed a couple who's little girl had a liver transplant
jonathan ross and his "rrr"sss !!! :D
look ar Johnathan and Hugh, they look so young.
Much, much, much better.
@PolverUnK
"they" find it offensive ? i thkn he does that because he finds it easier to do the scenes rather than switch on and off during the breaks
What year is this from?
When was this aired?
Умница.
I believe in november 1993.
1990.
He hasn't changed a bit.
He is one funny sexy guy
Why are you saying that Laurie "turned his back on Britain and his real fans," how can you even SEE that?
purple socks should not be that sexy....but Hugh makes them sexy
Hugh makes anything sexy lolll
Wow hes a child in this

Was he a successful comedian before House?
