Rang my mum..."can you have Lily for the night Mum (my elder daughter) as I need an ambulance"...NOPE. Can't your sister do it?? My sister who lives miles away and hasn't spent much time with Lily...My mother doesn't work, hasn't in 3 decades, she's in good health and is 60. My daughters both lost their dad last May. She still won't even sit with my kids while they're in bed so I can go out for a meal. She refuses to spend any valuable time with her grandkids or help out, whatsoever. I don't expect her help at all, they're my kids. Would just be nice to feel like she gives a shit for once in my life. Was badly bullied for not having cool clothes as a kid and not fitting in. We had enough money...now whenever I buy anything for my kids I get scalded like I've robbed a bank, just because I don't want them to suffer the way I did. I love my Mum, and I'm grateful for everything she's ever done for me. I just wish I felt like she wanted to be my Mum.
