Did you just scratch/ rough up the entire inside section of the liner as well?

Yes, roughening improves the adhesion of the connection liner.
It is necessary to use Connection Liner if the reinstatement is done with a chain. Roughening can also be done with grinding sheets.

What I think he is asking is when you did that in the pipe that has the liner in it wouldn’t you tear the liner up all the way around the circumference of the pipe as well as getting the reinstatement open. And if there is a way to do this without destroying the whole circumstance of the liner and just destroy the liner where the reinstatement is please please share how this is done. My Facebook page is facebook.com/profile.php?id=100024910024485 please message me and let me know. All of the liner we do here in Flordia are 99% slab. And if I didn’t have to get into every branch to do my reinstatements it would save me days in some jobs. And my other question would be let’s say I shot a liner in the main and reinstatemened my branches like this and just tore up enough of the liner on each side of the branch to be able to install a T liner would that be feasible. If so is that how you do the t liners you shoot the main first then install them. Or do you install t liners first then shoot over top of the t pack. Thanks I’m advance. By the way my buddy Ken byer from clog squad was just over there in Finland. Don’t know if he got a chance to see you guys or not but I love your equipment. I want to buy one of the 9kw steam units asap please lead me in the right direction thanks
