We have a big Van (5th Wheel) I have also found that Allpowers UK website has £210 off of 200w solar panels just now, so only £189, - so got one of those today (15th Feb) comes with all the cables you need including one for our van's external solar input - we now have 630w of solar for off grid. Happy days. Enjoy the rest of your Spanish trip - we're enjoying the vids.
These Batteries packs have a Battery Type. Ternary lithium battery ; Rated Power. 1500W, Peak Power 3000W ; Output Waveform. I would make sure you have a Lithium Fire Extinguisher on board as most people just carry C02 in vans, You have 2 packs so double fire risk, Looks great bit of kit thou. I would buy one.

The bike charger input is 230V at 1.5 Amps which is much less than your air-fryer. Even if it gets some charge into the bike battery that would be great. As the capacity of the S1500 power bank is over 1KW-hr it should be able to cope.
It really is a good bit of kit, did you use the discount code too ? It really is a lot of power for the price, we are impressed, it’ll certainly put charge into your bike 👍❤️

Just received mine yesterday and have been putting it through its paces - great job. If you dont mind I wonder could you answer a quick question regarding charging from a 12 V car socket. The cable recommended on the Allpowers site is sold through Amazon, and looks a good job. It has the barrel 5521 connector at the end of the cable going into the same input socket as the AC charging power brick which charges it at about 280 Watts. This seems quite high to me if coming through the car cigarette port which in my car (AudiQ5) is rated at max 7.5 amps. I emailed Allpowers and they just said it was OK without an explanation. So I wondered what you do when charging while travelling via 12 v socket. Maybe there a bit of wizardry inside the charging cable? It can't be anything inside the 1500S because its the same input port as the AC charger. Many thanks We are enjoying your travels around Europe in Winter. We have a caravan (not motorhome) and have been thinking about escaping from the cold/wet here for a few months!

Thanks for commenting, our 12v socket puts 137 watts into the power bank, mains is about the same as yours, however our 12 volt socket comes from our leisure batteries , not direct from the alternator, the alternator charges the batteries as we draw via the socket , maybe check with Audi what the output is , to be fair that’s great , but of course worth satisfying your concern. All powers are pretty good to be fair , there will be a fuse inside the 12v socket lead , so I would guess all is fine 🙂 hope that helps 🙂🙂👍

They seems to also recommend a cable which would plug into the same socket as the solar panel (. I can see that being OK as it would have circuitry to modulate the solar panel input. In the manual which came with the power bank it definitely recommends the 5521 for the car cable. Will let you know if I find out anything.....

Its a great powerbank , the adapter is a 12 volt cigarette lighter charger , all powers sell one , or similar on Amazon, if the panels are separate, you can link them with a y solar cable , but perhaps hang on and see what it comes with , it may have one ! Wow! what a price , unfortunately we’ve a Jackery 1,000 ( paid a lot more). If I hadn’t this would be my choice, 6 weeks in the trial is a true testing. Excellent demo, thank you for sharing..😊
Ours runs primarily on gas, they can be quite power hungry, we can plug the power bank into the van using a ehu socket with standard mains plug working from one of the 3 pin sockets on the power bank, but this wouldn’t be very efficient as it in essence powers the whole van not just the fridge .. all sockets live, battery’s charging etc, I’m sure a fridge could be modified , but ours is factory fitted to run on mains, gas or 12v when on the move .. 🙂 hope that helps 👍

Like the review if I was on a campsite with metered electricity would it work out cheaper if I plugged the power bank into my 230v socket on the motorhome then say plugged an air fryer similar size to yours into the power bank and used it that way

We haven’t reviewed or tried it yet sorry, but to be fair to allpowers they have great customer service and the ability to return if you are not happy, my honest advice is to go for the biggest you can get with portability in mind , the smaller one is good for phones, laptops etc .. but it won’t power our coffee machine , hair dryer , air fryer etc 🙂 hope that helps 👍

It's a LiFePo battery unit, far more stable and safe compared to Lithium only based batteries.
